Student life is usually full of adventures. The heroes of our selection are proof of this: they fall in love, move from college to college, face betrayal, find love, and sometimes even manage to investigate crimes. We invite you to get acquainted with a selection of TV series about campus life and college in general.

The selection of TV series presented below is quite impressive. You will need much time to watch all the TV shows mentioned. If you feel like you don't have enough time to watch them due to endless assignments, then it's better to ask for help. For example, you can buy a thesis, ask to write an essay, or any other paper on special writing services. This way, you will have more time to enjoy the TV series instead of wasting it on tough tasks.

The Sex Lives of College Girls

The series tells about the student everyday life of first-year college girls in Essex. They just recently graduated from school and are trying to find their place in adult life. Each of the girls has their own character and methods of achieving their goals. They will not only have to find a common language with each other but also understand themselves. Is what they dreamed of since childhood really worth fighting for?

The showrunner of "The Sex Lives of College Girls" is "The Office" actress and "Never Have I Ever..." writer Mindy Kaling. In many ways, the series is reminiscent of "Sex and the City," "Sex Education" and "Skam," beloved by millions, so if you are familiar with these projects and are looking for something similar, then do not pass by – 20 episodes of outright fun await you under the slogan "No rules, no regrets."

The Chair

Professor Ji Yoon Kim from Pembroke suddenly learns of a promotion – now she is not just a teacher, she will head the English department. The shift in power was a momentous event for the entire institution, as Kim was the first woman of color to hold a leadership position among the intellectually gifted, mostly male, white faculty. Kim is almost convinced that her appointment is nothing more than an attempt to pull the college out of crisis, but she does not refuse the chance to change everything. The authors of "The Chair" will take you through the secret corridors of the educational institution, tell you what the life of a teacher is like, and also use specific examples to analyze the main problems of the university. Kim will fight to the last for herself and for the college, but will she be able to withstand rebellious students, conservative teachers, and journalists who are always sticking their noses into other people's business?

The main roles in the television series are played by the star of the British thriller "Killing Eve" and Emmy Award winner Sandra Oh and the author of the films "Jeff, Who Lives at Home" and "Baghead" Jay Duplass. The showrunner was actress Amanda Peet, who wrote the script for "The Chair" many years ago, in between working on the series "Togetherness" with Jay Duplass.

How to Get Away with Murder

The showrunner of "How to Get Away with Murder" is Emmy Award nominee and creator of the iconic "Grey's Anatomy" Shonda Rhimes. In 2014, the project received an American Film Institute award as one of the ten best TV series of the year. Leading actress Viola Davis won the Emmy Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 2015 (becoming the first black actress to win an award in this category), received a Screen Actors Guild Award, and was also nominated for a Golden Globe.

The plot centers on a group of students led by the consummate lawyer, Annalise Keating. Her professionalism is confirmed in practice: Keating teaches law at one of the best universities, and only the most persistent can get into her course. Every year, she selects the four most potentially suitable students and takes them to work with her. The newcomers are ready to do anything to prove to Keating that they are worthy of the title of the best. However, will they be able to cope with a murder case, the circumstances of which will indicate the guilt of someone from their closest circle of acquaintances?

Community

If you love college stories but have never heard of the sitcom "Community," now is the time to change that. The series by showrunner Dan Harmon ("Rick and Morty") tells about the events taking place within the walls of the unusual Greendale College, where representatives of various ages, nationalities, and religions are hunting for higher education. The main characters, radically different from each other, learn to find a common language, getting into various, sometimes absurd and terribly funny situations. When creating the series, the showrunner was inspired by his own experience of studying at a real-life college in the city of Greendale.

"Community" has everything but what you might expect from a sitcom. There is a mixture of genres, an abundance of diverse characters, crazy scenery, and jokes that make you remember your favorite "Friends" or "The Office." Its important feature is also the many references to pop culture and the frequent use of parody and play on various clichés. The series has a total of six seasons, but in 2022, it became known that work on the first full-length film, “Community,” would begin. Its premiere date is still unknown.

Greek

"Greek" follows the lives of students at the fictional Cyprus Rhodes University. All students here are divided into fraternities and sororities. Most of the main characters belong to one of three fictional houses: Kappa Tau Gamma (ΚΤΓ), Omega Chi Delta (ΩΧΔ), and Zeta Beta Zeta (ΖΒΖ).
"Greek" is a real discovery for those who began immersing themselves in the world of TV series about students with modern projects and are now trying to find pearls among the shows of past years. The series, launched in 2007, is in many ways reminiscent of Gossip Girl, but unlike the cult project of Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, “Greek” pays more attention to interpersonal relationships than to revealing the secret that unites the heroes. The characters from the first episodes are able to make anyone fall in love with them, and after finishing watching, you will hardly be able to avoid the desire to watch the series again to be close to your favorite characters for at least a little longer.
