HBO's House of the Dragon, based on George R.R. Martin's Fire & Blood, has added Simon Russell Beale, Freddie Fox, Gayle Rankin and Abubakar Salim to its cast for Season 2. Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D'Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Rhys Ifans, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall and Matthew Needham will all be returning. The series, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen and will have 8 episodes in its second season.
