Paramount+ has approved a new UK drama series adapted from Sarah Pinborough's novel, Insomnia. The series will be produced by Left Bank Pictures, known for adapting Pinborough's Behind Her Eyes for Netflix in 2021. Insomnia follows the story of Emma Averill, a successful career woman struggling with sleep deprivation and fearing for her sanity shortly before her 40th birthday.
