Now armed with the knowledge that her and Chidi were once a couple, Eleanor just can't let sleeping dogs lie, or in her case, she can't deal with not knowing exactly how she managed to fall in love with Chidi and what their life together was like. Queue up memories of reboot #119. Yes, that's right, we're going back to 'The Good Place' as some of you may have picked up on from the promotional pictures that were released.
As we take a trip down memory lane along with Eleanor, we see how Chidi and Eleanor fall in love from her perspective with the help of some friends, both old and new. Reboot #119 isn't the only one we get to take a look at either, as Michael cycles through from the very beginning, to the middle (looking at you reboot #445) to explain to Eleanor that her (after)life isn't pre-determined at all and that maybe there are some home truths she needs to face about herself and her feelings.
With the weight of her returned memories and Michael's guidance, will she allow herself to grow as a person and examine her feelings? I guess you'll have to keep watching to find out.
