Following a police raid at the Railyard, a grieving Max (Ivanno Jeremiah) must deal with the fallout of his life or death decision, but have his actions caused irreparable damage to his leadership? Mattie (Lucy Carless) stays by Leo's (Colin Morgan) side, but his recovery takes a surprising turn. Rebel Synth Agnes (Holly Earl) begins a campaign against humans forcing Max into another difficult decision. Laura (Katherine Parkinson) has her first meeting with the Dryden Commission and, realising she has a mountain to climb, she finds a possible ally in Dr Neil Sommer (Mark Bonnar). She needs all the help she can get when she discovers a secret operation that could threaten Synth survival.
