IT’S MAMA DRAMA WHEN HONEY’S OVERBEARING MOTHER COMES TO TOWN, ON ABC’S ‘FRESH OFF THE BOAT,’ TUESDAY, JANUARY 2

“Big Baby” – Honey is excited to attend a parenting class that encourages moms to listen to their babies taught by self-proclaimed child sage, Wilhelmina Page (Niecy Nash), but when her mother, Anne (Cheryl Hines), ridicules the idea, it exposes communication issues of their own. When Honey turns to Jessica for support, she is disappointed to find that even her best friend doesn’t have her back. Meanwhile, Louis and Marvin are thrilled when they get to go on the free cruise their wives won on “Wheel of Fortune,” but their boys’ trip quickly turns into a gambling getaway gone south. Back in Orlando, Eddie’s friends are wary of his new crush at school, on “Fresh Off the Boat,” TUESDAY, JAN. 2 (8:30-9:00 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand. Cheryl Hines as Anne and Niecy Nash guest star.

Inspired by a true story, “Fresh Off the Boat” stars Randall Park as Louis, Constance Wu as Jessica, Hudson Yang as Eddie, Forrest Wheeler as Emery, Ian Chen as Evan, Lucille Soong as Grandma Huang, Chelsey Crisp as Honey and Ray Wise as Marvin.

Guest starring in this episode are Cheryl Hines as Anne, Niecy Nash as Wilhelmina Page, Prophet Bolden as Walter, Trevor Larcom as Trent, Dash Williams as Brian, Evan Hannemann as Barefoot Dave and Jane Widdop as Karen.
