We're heading into the home stretch here as round three kicks off today. Once again I'll be discussing the last round tomorrow once all the results have come in, so let's get into it.
Starting the third round is a poll that a few people in the comments confidently suspect it will go one way, only I'd see that as a major shock. Timeless, which took down Westworld to get here, faces Major Crimes. Of those I've seen predicting the way the rest of this competition might go, not a single person suggested anything other than the NBC series making it through here. Given that Major Crimes, in its two years' involvement here, has finished fourth and third, respectively, and that it knocked out Arrow last week, I'd have it as the clear favourite in this poll.
We then have the first of two - potentially three - all-seeded affairs with Game of Thrones facing Psych. I've felt from day one that the HBO powerhouse has its best chance yet to actually go on and win this competition, and this is definitely its toughest opponent so far. Psych, in its first year in the competition, is doing admirably thus far and taking down Thrones would represent an impressive statement going into the quarter-finals.
