A.P.B. - Hate of Comrades - Review: Where is Ada?

"Where is Ada?" was certainly the most asked question in last Monday's episode of APB and it was a good one. As Ada went on a rogue mission, Murphy's ex-partner died in a robbery and made this episode so much more personal.

But before digging into Murphy's emotional rollercoaster, let us resolve the mystery of where Ada was.
Ada got involved in a domestic abuse case and girl wouldn't let go of that bone. I really enjoyed the writing for this story, just as much as the director's approach, taking his time with the shots to highlight the intensity of the situation. Caitlin Stacey delivered an extremely strong performance.

Especially the scene in the where she provoked the abusive father to get him arrested. Ada should've been happy she got away with just one slap, that guy could've switched to berserk quite fast if the police hadn't arrived. I liked the cliches they've used just to show wrong the system is and how faulty people are at moments. The wife who is too afraid to let go from her abuser. The confrontation between Ada and the wife was gripping and gave insight why Ada was risking so much. She was the abused kid back in the day and no one was there to help her.

As said earlier this week's central case hit truly close to home for Murphy. Natalie Martinez really impressed me with this role. It seems tailor made for her and she really lives and breathes Det. Theresa Murphy. I loved how Theresa interrogated the culprit, she was so calm, so intuitive, so empowered, so smart, truly impressive.

The case itself was fast paced, intriguing and with a bunch of surprises keep the action going forward. The stress stole was a great idea by the writers and the new "toy" worked well with Murphy's interrogation. Also, Abraham Benrubi's Pete once again came to the district's help. I like Pete he is such a ray of sunshine, he gives the show a push of positive energy it is sometimes lacking.

The eventual heist was barely stopped, Ada reached out to one of her hacker friends for the 2nd time this episode and saved the day. These favors Ada has to hand out will certainly come back to bite her and the district in the behind. I do look forward seeing what the writers have in mind for that one.

The episode concluded with a truly sweet heart to heart between Gideon and Theresa, where she confessed how proud she is of the work they are doing and that she won't transfer even though her ex-husband asked for it. Next week the Ex's Task force will come to play and it seems like it will be an action-packed adventure. In the meantime, feel free to feel free to leave a comment down below and discuss the events of this week's episode.
