A JAIL CELL IS NO PLACE TO MAKE FRIENDS, ON ABC’S ‘HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER’

“Not Everything’s About Annalise” – Annalise reaches her breaking point as she struggles to adapt to her new reality behind bars, but a surprise confession to Wes’ murder could change everything. Meanwhile, the K4 find their own freedom at risk as they discover the D.A.’s investigation is much bigger than they imagined, on “How to Get Away with Murder,” THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 2 (10:00–11:00 p.m. EST), on the ABC Television Network.

“How to Get Away with Murder” stars Academy Award®-nominee Viola Davis as Professor Annalise Keating, Billy Brown as Detective Nate Lahey, Alfred Enoch as Wes Gibbins, Jack Falahee as Connor Walsh, Aja Naomi King as Michaela Pratt, Matt McGorry as Asher Millstone, Karla Souza as Laurel Castillo, Charlie Weber as Frank Delfino, Liza Weil as Bonnie Winterbottom and Conrad Ricamora as Oliver Hampton.

“Not Everything’s About Annalise” was written by Abby Ajayi and was directed by Nicole Rubio.

Interviews

"Instead of flashing forward we'll be flashing back," showrunner Pete Nowalk tells The Hollywood Reporter. "Mostly we're going to see what happened before Wes died. And of course there's the questions of [who's] the killer and where were people when? That's always part of the show for me, piecing together the [timeline]."

Will Frank’s confession get Annalise out of jail?

We’re going to see the answer to that in the next episode. I don’t think the DA is going to want to believe this. It seems very convenient, so the question is: Is Frank’s plan going to work? Or did he just make a bigger mess of things?

Is Annalise safe in prison?

I don’t think she’s safe. I don’t know if anyone is ever really safe in prison, and I think she’s so shell-shocked and scared. She doesn’t want anyone to know who she is, but meanwhile, her roommate Jasmine (L. Scott Caldwell) has already seen her in court. Yes, she’s afraid of the police, she’s afraid of the other prisoners; she just wants out of there. It’s going to be fun to see how she navigates all that.
