Life In Pieces director/executive producer Jason Winer has teamed with two old college buddies, New Girl co-executive producers Ethan Sandler and Adrian Wenner, for This Might Hurt, a single-camera medical workplace comedy. The project, from 20th TV where Winer is under an overall deal and Sandler & Wenner work on New Girl, has been set up at Fox with a script commitment plus penalty.
Written/executive produced by Sandler and Wenner and executive produced by Winer through his Small Dog Picture Company, This Might Hurt revolves around the brilliant doctors at Wilshire Wellness who struggle to conceal the fact that their multi-specialty private practice has become an ethical and inter-personal sh*t-show.
