MAYA IS APPREHENSIVE WHEN KENNETH BECOMES JJ’S AIDE WHILE JIMMY AND DYLAN LEARN TO BE THE NEW NEIGHBORS ON THE BLOCK, ON ABC’S ‘SPEECHLESS’

“N-E-NEW A-I-AIDE” – Maya struggles as Kenneth takes over as JJ’s full-time aide. Loving his new freedom, JJ avoids attending a physical therapy appointment, and Maya automatically blames Kenneth, using any excuse to confirm her misgivings and moves to fire him. Meanwhile, Jimmy struggles to teach Dylan the family way to not be so neighborly, on “Speechless,” WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28 (8:30-9:00 p.m. EDT), on the ABC Television Network.

“Speechless” stars Minnie Driver as Maya DiMeo, John Ross Bowie (“The Big Bang Theory”) as Jimmy DiMeo, Mason Cook as Ray DiMeo, Micah Fowler as JJ DiMeo, Kyla Kenedy as Dylan DiMeo and Cedric Yarbrough as Kenneth.

Guest starring is Jon Dore as Tom, Lukita Maxwell as Jillian, Marin Hinkle as Dr. Miller, Liz Cackowski as Joyce, Rebecca L. Buchman as Office Worker, Kurtis Bedford as Charlie, Robert James Watkins as First Responder, Kerri Medders as Head Cheerleader.

“N-E-NEW A-I-AIDE” was written by Scott Silveri and directed by Christine Gernon.

Scott Silveri (“Friends”) writes and is executive producer of the show, along with “Fresh Off the Boat”’s Jake Kasdan and Melvin Mar.
