Performers Of The Month - March Polls

9 Apr 2016

We had more nominations this month than any other month so far. Thank you to everyone that participated in the nominations round! The actors category was extremely close with only 3 votes preventing one actor from making it into the Top 5. Just like last month this shows that every valid nomination counts and can make a difference.

Now comes the hard part where you can only vote for 1 actor and 1 actress to be crowned as the Performers Of The Month for March and declared the most outstanding performers of March. The polls will be open until 12 pm ET on April 14th.

Here is the list of your Top 5 Reader Nominees in each category:

Top 5 Reader Nominated Actors (In alphabetical order):
Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen/Green Arrow) - Arrow (4x16)
Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle/The Punisher) - Daredevil (2x4 & 2x10) (Also Staff Nominated)
Grant Gustin (Barry Allen/The Flash) - The Flash (2x16 & 2x17)
Bob Morley (Bellamy Blake) - The 100 (3x8)
Ricky Whittle (Lincoln) - The 100 (3x9)

Top 5 Reader Nominated Actresses (In alphabetical order):
Marie Avgeropolous (Octavia Blake) - The 100 (3x9)
Melissa Benoist (Kara Danvers/Supergirl) - Supergirl (1x16) (Also Staff Nominated)
Lindsey Morgan (Raven Reyes) - The 100 (3x8)
Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) - Arrow (4x16 & 4x17)
Eliza Taylor (Clarke Griffin) - The 100 (3x7)

Please remember the rule that a single performer can only win 2 times in one year before they become disqualified for the rest of 2016. If any prior winners win again they will no longer be eligible for nomination in 2016. Alycia Debnam-Carey is no longer eligible for the rest of the year because of her 2 prior wins.

January Winners:
Outstanding Actor: Bob Morley (Bellamy Blake) - The 100
Outstanding Actress: Alycia Debnam-Carey (Lexa) (Guest Star) - The 100

February Winners:
Outstanding Actor: Jesse Williams (Dr. Jackson Avery) - Grey's Anatomy
Outstanding Actress: Alycia Debnam-Carey (Lexa) (Guest Star) - The 100

IMPORTANT: Last month there were instructions floating around telling how to cheat these polls. I’ve put a lot of thought into these polls over the last month and came up with several ideas on what I could do differently. So, here’s the deal, I’ve settled to leave them as they are. However, if I find out people are distributing cheating instructions or encouraging cheating I will hide the results so only I am aware of who is leading therefore taking away the temptation to throw votes at someone simply to get or keep them in the lead. If I am forced to hide the results then that will become the new standard going forward and results will be hidden until the very end when the results will be made visible so the winners are never in doubt. I really don't want to have to do this so please encourage single votes among your fandoms. I know the urge to cheat is strong but I assure you that no performer wants to win anything simply because their fans were the best cheaters. This is the only warning I will give.

Please only 1 vote per poll per person! May the best performers win!

After you vote hit the comments to convince others why your nominees are the most outstanding performers from March and why they deserve to win.
