Shameless airs it's 8th episode of Season 6 tonight at 9|8c on Showtime, here are some teasers.

Carl and Fiona share a beautiful scene together. So simple yet very moving. Emmy's reaction to Carl is a poignant sisterly moment. Ethan Cutkosky is the single best thing about the episode. He has grown so much as an actor and his storyline this season is really showing growth and character development. For me, I think Carl was the best part of the episode, his story and Ethan’s performance shines throughout. Losing his closest friend really allowed Ethan to showcase a range of emotions that we’ve not seen before.

Awkward’s Brett Davern makes his first appearance in this episode. He and Debbie have great chemistry and share some really nice moments. He does harbor a secret that’s quite unusual.
Ian continues to spend an increasingly more amount of time with Caleb. He meets more of Caleb’s other gay friends, and learns about more about Caleb throughout the episode.

Lip has the most strangest scene with Grandma Queenie I ever saw. I haven’t seen something like that before. Lip storyline is going in a unusual direction post Helene.

Carl and Sean share some really nice scenes together, Sean really shows some fatherly instincts towards Carl.

Towards the end of the episode things do get a bit crazy with Sean and Fiona, the scene is very well acted. I also think it was Dermot Mulroney best showcase of emotion yet. Fiona has always been the most expressive in their scenes and Emmy Rossum always nails the scenes, especially in tonight’s episode. Dermot finally gets his chance to shine.

Frank gets quite high towards the end of the episode, his storyline seems to be going in an odd direction… I am suprised he survives no matter what though, no matter how dangerous of a situation he puts himself into.

Furthermore, a warning to some, Ian and Caleb might get more intimate than previously seen. We will learn something surprising about Caleb also.

Quote:

“Chocolate bun cake, I’m hurt.”

"Let's get you, your flaxseed oil."

"I'm just going to go study at my boyfriends."

"We keep running into each other, must be kismet"

"I haven't felt this happy in a long time."

"It's okay, be a good boy."
