If you thought the stakes were raised last week then be prepared to be shocked. What unfolds in this episode will have long reaching and long lasting consequences. Relationships will be tested and nothing will ever be the same again.

The moment many feared comes to fruition as Big Foster launches a campaign to acquire guns that he believes will help protect the mountain. He’s not the sanest man and when he is fueled by the need to prove himself and gain power over the mountain he is downright dangerous. A plan is hatched that will forever change the face of this fight and it is one that will end very unexpectedly. Asa and G’Win do what they can to try and stop Big Foster but with his mind made up he will put many of his fellow kin in harm’s way to try and accomplish his foolish plan.

Hasil will continue to fight for a place in Sally-Ann’s life but things don’t quite go according to plan. We learn a bit more about her life and get to know her brother. Family love and loyalty is a big through theme of this series and that doesn’t exclude Sally-Ann. Whereas Sally-Ann only sees the good in Hasil her brother cannot. For Hasil’s credit he tries to do everything right and does his best to prove his worth. One confrontation seems poised to forever change this pairing. You will know the scene when you see it and it will blow minds. The scene is powerful and intense and incredibly acted and directed. This episode is a turning point for many characters but maybe none more so than Hasil and Sally-Ann.

Asa and Ned have a very interesting encounter in this episode. He issues an ultimatum to Ned that raises the stakes drastically. Ned is caught in a no win situation as he can’t abandon the project because of the implications that will have for his career and to continue it…well I’ll let you watch the episode to find out what the consequences are if he lets the project continue.

Wade is battling his demons like never before. With his sister, Ledda, threatening to take away the custody of his son he has a lot of decisions to make. He is a man battling many heavily engrained demons and it will take a lot for him to be able to get out from underneath them. While he puts up a valiant fight throughout the episode I believe an encounter in the final closing seconds of the episode will once again threaten to drown him deeper into his troubled mind.

The big confrontation that starts ramping up in the opening minutes of the episode reaches its climax in the final minutes of the episode. Big Foster launches his plan without fully thinking through the consequences and things don’t go according to plan. This episode ups the stakes and will forever change things in the fight for the mountain. While I don’t recommend ever missing an episode of this show I highly suggest absolutely not missing this episode. This was one of my favorite episodes so far and that’s saying a lot because I’ve thought every episode so far has been great.

Tune in to WGN on Tuesday, March 1st at 9/8C to experience this bold episode first hand.
