Murray vs. Beverly:

In this week's episode, Beverly gets mad at Murray for wearing a mustache. This causes Beverly to shave it off for him while he is sleeping but everything goes haywire. She's not done irritating him. She is also jealous of her friendship with Bill. She attempts to be friendly with Bill, but they don't see eye-to-eye. Now, Murray is in the middle of the mess between his best friend and his own wife. The obvious choice is that Murray chooses Bev over him. He gets aggravated for ruining his friendship with him. In an attempt to win Murray back, she does a homage to Kate Jackson from Charlie's Angels to cheer him up, but that fails. Will he move on from Bill and suck it up with Bev?

Barry and Lainey:

Meanwhile, Barry dresses up as "Boy George" to prove his relationship to Lainey, but it doesn't work out and breaks up with Lainey because of her not being impressed with him. She does everything to win back Barry including rapping in front of the whole school, which he enjoys doing on a normal basis. However, she embarrasses him by making a mockery of his personality. How will she win him back?

Ending to the stories:
Erica admits that she has prevented him and Lainey from going out each other due to their incompatibility. This causes Barry to run in the rain (so does Bev but does it to win back Bill for Murray) and reconcile with Lainey. While this happens, Bev becomes friends with Bill and runs in the rain to come back to Murray. The men are having fun on the couch. Bev bring them bagel bites but Bill leaves to give space to Bev and Murray. In the end, Barry gets a letter from Chuck Norris.

My Thoughts:
This season is so far awesome, but this episode really proved why it's the best this season so far. The bromance of Bill and Murray reminds me of an adult version of Cory and Shawn from Boy Meets World except Topanga isn't as crazy as Bev. When I have my future wife, I am sure she will continue to let me have my bromances with my best friends just like Bill and Murray did tonight. Meanwhile, I love that there is more character development on Barry and Erica as they impressed me last week. They have such great chemistry together and it is awesome that Erica admits that her own brother is compatible with her best friend, Lainey. Don't forget to watch The Goldbergs on Wednesday nights at 8:30/7:30c between The Middle and Modern Family. If you missed this episode or any of the episodes, watch the episodes from the beginning on Hulu Plus. The subscription is worth the money.
