  2. Two-parter premier.. that's something.
I know we're gonna learn more about Grounders this season but I hope that doesn't mean it'll be all grounders, all the time, and look, there's an AI too!

  3. Who said it is only a 2 part premier? ^_^ ;-)

  4. I'm hoping that house and AI is a sign of a lot of hard sci-fi to come.

  5. OMG so excited! I need this show back now!!! Everytime there is a part one behind the title means that it will be epic! I am beyond happy it was renewed

  6. I mean, we were promised more sci-fi elements, so I sure hope so. Maybe I am just annoyed because I don't really care about Grounder culture that much.

  7. That's some really good insight on the title!

And I honestly hope The CW decides to air it back to back when it premieres on midseason, they can do it the week before the show at 8PM comes back from break on January.

  8. Sounds awesome already! If only we didn't have to wait at least half a year till it airs. But yay for it being a two-parter!

Also, could the title mean One Commander? One is pronounced as 'wan' after all. I also saw a suggestion on Twitter that it could be about a Commander election.

  9. Oh yh premiering it the week before for the 2 hours is a good idea. I'm still crossing my fingers that the episode order will be upped.

  10. 2 hour premiere pleaseeee. So looking forward. Is this the title of the City or something?

  11. Me too! I also think they should have done it for the past two year finales since they were airing sans original lead-ins anyway and since they were two parts obviously meant to be watched together.

  12. I don´t... And I am just talking out of my butt, but couldn't "Wanheda" be the name/title the Grounders gave Clarke after Mount Weather???

"Heda" is leader.... I think they won´t change the meaning of that word (very much),... since "Heda" (and "jus drein jus daun") are to well known and beloved by the fans for massive changes that would not confuse everyone.

And you said "wan op" means "die"... maybe "wan" without the "op" is... death or depart or expire, be no more, end, leave, break off, back off... (At least those are some of the words that come up on thesaurus for "die")

And if we just go with that conclusion, than "Wanheda" could have two meanings. Both would be fitting for Clarke::

1.) If we presume that "wan op", even without the "op" has something to do with: die, dying, death, than "Wanheda" could mean somthing like "Leader who brings Death", "Death-Leader", "Commander of Death", "Harbinger of Death", "Master of Death" "Bringer of Death" "Leader who ends the dying"...

2.) or, if we say, "wan" has something to do with: leave, depart, break off, back off..., than "Wanheda" could mean: "Leader who left", "Leader who was left behind", "Leader who broke", "Leader who backed off"...

Personally I think, it could be no 1.). Jason Rothenberg said in his interviews, that Clarke is famous now. That every grounder knows her name and she has become a legend ect. And I just don´t think, that the Grounders would give an iconic figure like Clarke a nick name, like "Leader who quit" or "Expired-Leader".

So, those are my two cents. I am probably embarrassing wrong about absolutely everything, but at least it is fun to speculate. ;-)

  13. I love that theory! That sounds pretty plausible to me, what Jason said backs it up pretty well too. It'll be a long time before we know for sure though :/ So far though this is my favourite theory.

  14. Commander election... I like that! But I always thought that the Grounders do not elect their Commander?! I thought Lexa became Commander because they believe in reincarnation, and the last Commander´s soul chose Lexa... (However that is supposed to work)... I also think, for them to elect (or whatever) a new Commander Lexa has to be dead.
So, maybe it is not a Commander election, but a Leader election. After TonDC they are sure in need of those. Because most of the leaders of the clans are dead.

  15. Perfect! :) I think that's it. It would also fit with the time jump of about two months so the legend of Clarke of the Sky People could have spread and she could get the name or maybe even title "Wanheda".

I doubt that we'll get a premier date at the summer TCAs. This is a midseason show. Maybe as early as February. Their going to want to release Legends before The 100.

I highly doubt it'll come back in January. If it does, it'll go in Fridays. Either paired with Reign or replacing Reign. The CW will premier Legends (M-Th) before it premiers The 100.

  18. you're right. Lexa made it pretty clear the commanders are chosen by reincarnation.
we learned last season that the grounder tribes were always at war. and Lexa, the commander (Heda) united them in a fragile alliance.now with MW gone that alliance will probably fall apart and we'll see grounder civil war that will put the sky people in the middle. "One Commander" is probably about an upcoming split

  19. Not sure how reliable this site is but Wanheda appears to be a Grounder word.

  20. Omgggg when will the 100 start I'm missing all my fall shows.

  21. Here's something else too: https://vimeo.com/133306748 ---- possible dialogue for season 3 from this casting tape. No confirmation this person was cast.

    ReplyDelete
  22. OMG! Great find!!! "Commander of Death"! @Stefanie, you're a genius. :D

Clarke a prisoner of someone mentioned as "he", and she WANTS to go home, this guy also a prisoner who thinks his mother could be a good ally for the Sky People. The Grounder he speaks is different to the Trikru dialect (there are dialects? amazing....). Long-shot guess: Ice Nation?

    ReplyDelete
  23. yeah the only confusing thing to me is the use of 'he' i'd assume they were talking about a plan to kill Lexa if not for the 'he'. But yeah if I had to predict he is the ice nations queen son who was cast out (possibly he blames lexa for it) and first captures clarke himself wanting to use her to get in the good graces of his mum. then they both get captured and he wants clarke to kill their captor (lexa?) .. Either way this character is very intriguing.. alot different than the other grounders we have met so far. Definitely could be a cool dynamic with Clarke.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Next question will be: Why would the Ice Nation's queen want to get her hands on Clarke?

And another speculation: If we assume that "Roan" is the name of this guy... Roan is also the name of a mountain in the Southern Appalachian Mountains in Tennessee...

  25. "@Stefanie, you're a genius. :D" --> Aawwww! Thank you! *blushing* ;-)

I am sorry! Sadly I can't speculate about the dialogue because I was to late! I can´t see the video... :-(
