  2. YES!! I'm so happy :) I'm also super busy with Comic Con stuff (Damien trailer posting in a minute!)

  3. Last month this news really wouldn't have bothered me. But Season 5 has been a vast improvement over season 4, so if they can keep it up: Yay!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Omggggg yessss. Who's coming back??

    ReplyDelete
  5. Yes this season has been really good.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Awesome! This season is already one of my favorites from the show.

  7. despite the ratings slip isn't this MTV's most profitable show since Jersey shore? and highest rating or 2nd behind catfish

  8. Damn it! Staying away from this show is not easy. This doesn't make it their longest running scripted series does it?

What has this season been like romance wise? And more importantly what's Stiles been like, he's the main reason I left the show, him and all the romance.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I like how they have finally come around to the fact that YES Scott does trust everyone and Stiles distrusts everyone. I think most viewers have noticed that for a long time, but the characters themselves have finally clicked to it. The fact its causing the 2 characters some friction is also good.

Also Stile's Jeep needs some serious Cash Injections. Rip out the block and shove a new engine in that thing.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Honestly Stiles is like very idk hes still the go to for comedy but he's very serious this season and romance wise its not heavy just a few kisses but not too much i dont believe

    ReplyDelete
  11. Stiles feels different this season. Not as funny as usual. Romance wise I guess normal you know scott and kira and also stiles and malia. It doesnt overtake the show.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Stiles is the main reason I watch the show. Dylan and Linden ignite the screen when they share some dialogue and they both get each others subtle clues in the dialogue. Its been great since season 1.

YESSSSSS I NEEDED TO HEAR THIS NEWS AND MORE EPIS THANK UUUUUU

  14. Have they reached the Scott and Stiles separating storyline yet? I probably would have back to it already but that storyline really pushed me away, the only time I liked Stiles when he was a totally different person around Scott. That bromance and the relationship between Scott and Liam are the reason I stuck through season 4.

  15. Teen Mom 2 is their highest rated show.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I'm super happy, but I prefer shortened seasons.

    ReplyDelete
  17. not really seperating but Stiles doesnt like the fact that scott trust everyone and ends up getting burned for it so its eluding to it a little

    ReplyDelete
  18. BITCH NO ONE GIVES A FUCK ABOUT WHAT YOU PREFER

    ReplyDelete
  19. Well, obviously you do.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yh I don't think I'd be able to sit through that :/ The urge to punch the TV where Stiles' face was would be too strong! I guess I could do what I did in TVD and just fast forward through some of the scenes lol, I'll see. Thanks for the info :)

  21. YEEEEEEEEEEESSS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. This season has been really good so far...Im glad this show got renewed and the cast is exceptional...#congrats

    ReplyDelete
  23. Great news!! I'm glad Teen Wolf isn't ending this season, it's one of my favorite shows. Does anyone know what cast member have been confirmed for season 6?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Why am i not surprised? LOL, of COURSE it would get renewed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. A full-length one or a teaser?

    ReplyDelete
  26. It's a minute, it's more full than the previous teaser :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. Not surprising it's renewed but very happy it is for 20 episodes. I like these two-parters. Season 5 has been great so far. I can't wait until season 6 comes now that I know Scott and Stiles will be in it.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Since you are not a fan of Stiles, I don't think this season is for you. The story is being set up where Stiles is right despite others, especially Scott, not believing him. There will be a rift coming and from my perspective at this point, it will be Stiles on the right side.

Romance wise, they keep throwing in pointless makeout scenes and Mason lusting after every hottie without a shirt. It is the biggest problem I have with Teen Wolf so far this season besides of course the Theo-rift that is going to put Scott and Stiles on the outs for hopefully only a brief moment.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Agreed about the Jeep unless it is really tied to Stiles' emotions. Whenever he is super stressed, it stalls. When he releases that stress, it starts. It's becoming more than a coincidence right now for me.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I can't even count it as Stiles being right, I mean if you are suspicious of nearly new every character, you are bound to be right sometimes. You know what they say about a broken clock.

    ReplyDelete
  31. My Teen Wolf podcast partner just told me that Jeff confirmed that the very final scene of Teen Wolf will be between Scott and Stiles. I was so glad to hear that because it means we won't be watching the Liam and Mason show for season 6.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I think Stiles is right far more often than he is not. He called Matt. They all knew Jackson was a douche so that one doesn't count. He called himself as the Big Bad for season 3B. He always told Scott not to trust Peter even when Peter was technically on their side. Now he knows Theo is evil. I'd say his record is pretty good. Despite what Scott said in the premiere, I never remember him having a problem with Malia at all and his issues with Kira were fleeting at best.

    ReplyDelete
  33. yeh, i guess shows just to have a horrible season like 4b once in a while. Seems back on track now.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yeah but he distrusted literally everyone else including those characters. When it comes to Matt he originally said it as an off hand comment, everyone knows Peter is a creep and I don't recall any actions from Scott that indicated he trusted him. And while he may be right about Theo, he has had no proof and this suspicions from him seems completely plot driven. Malia arguably was introduced in way that should have been seen as suspicious ,but wasnt. While his distrust of Kira did not last long it still happened, and in that case we can consider his distrust of Matt fleeting too.

    ReplyDelete
  35. That's disappointing. I absolutely love the mythology in this show it feels a shame not to watch it.

    ReplyDelete
  36. It's like this season will be, 20 episodes split into two 10 episode stories, like how season three was two 12 episode stories. I am glad because it's like a two season pickup.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Ha! The Jeep goes Christine? That could be some story. My reigning theory is that Stiles' emotions, along with the rest of the pack, are being supernaturally amped unconsciously by Lydia in an effort to subconsciously warn them of what is too come. The pack is just manifesting it in different ways. Stiles is overly anxious, Malia is seeing visions, and Kira can't control her energy output.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Lets follow that logic line along

    A) Stiles has overtly anxious since Season 1.
    B) Stiles start having anxiety/panic attacks. Lydia saw one of the first ones and managed to calm down down by kissing the heck outta him
    C) Stiles is again almostt suffering anxiety attacks induced by ... less stress that last time (with the whole Nogitsune issue) influenced by Lydia to subcociously warm him of the danger to come
    D) So in essence Lydia is giving Stiles his Anxiety attacks to..
    E) Be able to kiss him to relieve him of the attacks she is giving him

Wow. you certainly do make the case Dahne that Lydia liked her intimate moment with Stiles so much the first time that she is willing to put him through the ringer to be there with another kiss :)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Bwaaaahhhhh!!!! Let me assure you this is NOT where I intended my theory to lead, but I laughed so hard I spit water out on my keyboard. Thanks! I needed that. You win the internet tonight. I can't wait to hear your acceptance speech.

  40. (Ill take another tack as I dont want you to kill yourself due to electrical current in front of your computer)

THe question I think with the character of Stiles (who I think is nearly equal with Lydia in terms in Intelligence) is that is he going to sacrifice his college aspirations to keep with the gang and with Malia. Are we going to leave Beacon Hills behind? Someone I think not, yet logically we should. If they are keeping Malia I dont see her getting into any prestigous educational school unless something dramatically changes.

I think the most eye opening things re Stiles/Malia came from the moment in the most recent episode and was probably over looked by most people when Stiles shows Malia the information on the Desert Wolf. Malia says something along the lines of 'they were bad people.. they deserve it'. We never really learn more than that and they COULD of been bad people. Stiles reaction is subtle but I really dont think he was agreeing with Malia's view on this and was probably slightly horrified that Malia Was.

I think you might find that this season steers Stiles and Lydia back towards each other and Stiles away from Malia. (Not that I really want all 3 characters to be bound up in some silly triangle)

The Parrish / Lydia thing just dosnt seem ... there. Maybe it needs more grounding but I think at this point in the shows life, its gonna be very hard to set something up there.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Do you think they'll split senior year up over multiple seasons or have them start college in season 6?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Jeff said that this season would encompass all of senior year so I have no idea how he plans to tackle season 6.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Ha!

I am good with Parrish and Lydia not being a thing because that squicks me out to be honest. I can't say that I want Lydia and Stiles together though either. One of the things I love best about Jeff Davis as showrunner is he basically says screw all the ships you want to sail. I'm doing things my way. Since I'm a fairly strong anti-shipper, I adore that attitude, I can see things getting rocky between Malia and Stiles in the same way that things are about to get rocky between Stiles and Scott. I actually don't care if Stiles and Malia are together either as long as they both continue to get screen time and they both continue to be awesome.

I do think that some contrived reason is going to keep them all in Beacon Hills for one more year. Perhaps they will suddenly have a Beacon Hills college similar to the one that sprung up overnight at Sunnydale on Buffy. Perhaps the danger will be too real and they all stay to protect each other and their parents. I'm not sure but if the same cast stays for season 6, and they better, my guess is that they are still in Beacon Hills. That does shaft Lydia and Stiles though because I agree that they are the smartest ones in the pack. If they make an Angel shift though and do leave town, I would expect Malia to be there too. Unless the actress wants off, she's too popular a character for them to dump. Since they've already made the implausible leap that Malia would in any way be ready for high school much less senior year, my guess is that she is far more intelligent than we think too. Or it's a big plot device and we all know how Teen Wolf likes those.

As for the conversation with Stiles and Malia, I agree to a point. It's Stiles who says that they were bad people based on the information Braeden gave him. I think that's enough for Stiles to think that. I do however agree that Malia's bloodthirsty attitude, even more so this season than the end of last season, is getting to him. I don't think for one moment that he agreed with her that the killing was justified. It's like when she asked if Stiles wanted to her to torture Theo and Stiles patiently explained the detective way. Something there will have to give, but I also think part of that turning point was Malia NOT killing Tracy. She made that decision without anyone else there to guide her. Now unless something else happens in the next couple of episodes, I think Malia's kill first attitude will be dampened from her on out. She'll still go to that option before the others, but I don't think it will be the first option for her anymore. I could be wrong but I hope that moment of NOT killing Tracy was as significant as it appeared to be.

yessssssss my worries can be over. I was not sure but thank GOD!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Sweet this means Teen Wolf will have a 100 episodes at least.

    ReplyDelete
  46. University I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I doubt Stiles will get into any prestigious university. He's intelligent but barely applies at school. Even Scott has a better chance. As for a triangle, Davis hates those and Lydia's already having a creepy thing with Parrish. The morality over the desert wolf would be interesting to see where it goes but Malia herself is starting to adapt the morals of the pack.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Neither side is right to me. Stiles will be right most likely about Theo, but trusting others and having faith has been shown to consistently payoff in Teen Wolf. And that's really ignoring a lot romance wise.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Everything dips in quality at some point. What matters is the rebound.

    ReplyDelete
  50. But trusting TOO much has bitten them on the ass multiple times, trust and faith is all nice and tidy but not in a supernatural community.

    ReplyDelete
  51. What about the Theo scenes on the new Comic-Con promo?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Trusting has also got them allies from many betas (Isaac, the twins), a were coyote, a kitsune, redeemed a fallen alpha (who then had Braeden save Derek and Peter), allowed them to overcome a Kanima, and helped turn Derek and Malia from self-centred jerkasses into caring, noble people who protect and fight for others. Scott should not trust Theo, but his ability and desire to trust and believe in others is what has allowed him to get this far and protect those he loves and the town he lives in. Just because the Supernatural community has untrustworthy people doesn't mean all are. Granted trusting too much caused the downfall of Deucalion, but trust also helped reform many and is a strength in the end.

    ReplyDelete
  53. The looks? Maybe, but doesn't change the feelings that are there. Plus once Theo's true colours are revealed he's dead.

    ReplyDelete
  54. some shows just never get there lately once they dip though, glad it's not the case here.

    ReplyDelete
  55. most shows dont do the highschool university transition well, Id rather they go one tree hill style and skip it.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'd say most rebound.

    ReplyDelete
  57. YEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Finally. This season has been very promising for far.Good for them :)

    ReplyDelete
  59. Now let's hope Derek will be back as a main character.

Yeah, I'm so happy and excited now knowing Stiles and Scott will be back! I was worried about that for a while. Yay, season 6! And once again in two parts, great idea!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Glad to hear stiles and Scott will get their bromance back on track but I figured they would their bond is part of what makes the show so great imo, Jeff wouldn't ruin their friendship for good.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Awesome news. I just hope that the creepy premise stays the same and they don't make the storyline overly complicated.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I wrote that before I had seen the episode 3. Malia did redeem herself somewhat in that episode, but was offset by Stiles asking her not to leave them, Scott even telling her so, and Malia just leaving. I find it interesting that she overcame the effects before Scott an Alpha. MAybe she did only take the glancing blow.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Scott told Malia to save Tracy, so I thought he was saying he wanted her to go.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Ahh, what I got from that exchange is that he wanted all of them to save Tracy. If he meant for her to go alone, he basically went AGAINST what Stiles his best bro wanted. I sense trouble on the Malia/ Stiles horizon!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Love it. I wished Derrick would come back he is y fav
