  1. I'm not really sure it's a good decision to let the shows future dangle up in the air, I'd love a sixth season but some firm decision making should be in order.

IMO Warner Bros. should finally regrow some balls and get their own network, no partners, no co-owners. Just a plain WB owned network. I'm sick of seeing WB produce shows for other networks only to see these shows fall to the bottom of the networks grace whenever decisions have to be made.

Actually....if I don't get to write any articles anymore can someone from the stv staff write one with a poll added to it if WB should get itself a solo network?

  2. if they knew that they'd say it.
Another WB show getting f****ed by the network they produce it for

This seems like the end at CBS, doesn't it?

  4. Yeah. After Hannibal got rejected by both Amazon and Netflix, despite being critically acclaimed and cheap to produce, I lost hope for POI. It's a smart move to approach season 5 as the last. I trust the writers to go balls to the wall, and end this in a blaze of glory.

  6. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. would be great to know is she returns as regular or guest

  8. I do not want an open ending with its future undecided. They can still give some closure and then redirect the story if it gets picked up.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I would be beyond ecstatic if she is back for all episodes but I have a feeling that she may recur towards the final run of episodes.

  10. These updates have dampened my hopes for a S6 but I will still keep this dampened hope alive until the very end. OTOH, I feel that I have to start steeling myself to the very strong possibility that there are only 13 episodes left of this great how. Hope Nolan and Plageman give us heavily serialized, no filler, 13hrs of pure awesomeness that leave us with fond memories of the show.

  11. Amen to that!

  12. I really hope you get your wish.

  13. I think everyone thinks the same...

  14. Bad Robot has had a hard time over the past couple of years for sure, but I think the company is moving into a new phase and moving away from the regular networks. At least POI will be treated like it's last. I'm still not over Revolution, Alcatraz, Almost Human, or Believe, or how the CW has not picked any of the works Bad Robot has pitched to them in the last three years. But with licensing fees with the WB, their shows are expensive to produce. I agree that it would be nice to see a pure WB network.

  15. Interview with Greg Plageman on season 5 and Shahi's return! http://zap2it.com/2015/07/person-of-interest-season-5-sarah-shahi-shaw-returning/

  16. I hope she comes back for at least 5 or 6 episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Me too. That seems like a reasonable amount to explore her story while also giving Shahi the time and flexibility she needs.

Kinda contradicts itself. CBS will order more episodes if they want. Has to treat this like the final season...eh?

    ReplyDelete
  19. That's not contradictory. CBS *can* order more episodes for this season. But that doesn't mean they'll renew the show for a sixth season, so the writers have to assume this is the end of the line. It's the wisest thing to do.

    It does a little, yes.

  21. OMG, that tease... I almost collapsed.

    ReplyDelete
  22. OMG!!!! What a teaser!! Trip down memory lane with all those old scenes from previous seasons, glimpses of out heroes in action all accompanied with that awesome background score and just when you were comfortably reveling in nostalgia comes the ending of the teaser that shoots the hype levels to an all time high.

"If you are hearing this you're already dead". "So let me tell you what we did to fight back" - cue chills.

  23. Wow!!! Looks like we will see Grace again. Wonder why they kept mum on the Reese/Iris front.

  24. Lol Kibble n Bits!

  25. All these tweets about the panel, details about S5, return of Shaw and the love for POI make me tear up. CBS surely cut short something epic. F*CK THEM!!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm glad to know we're going to see Grace again, i'd love to see a meeting between Finch and Grace, they're lovely. As for Reese and Iris for me is ok, I have never liked her.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Man this better not be the last season. This show is so, so good, it'd be a shame to cancel it so soon when you see the kind of crap that is still on air despite being terribly written.

    ReplyDelete
  28. That teaser was amazing

    ReplyDelete
  29. I think Season 5 will be the Final Season.

    ReplyDelete
  30. CBS has made some bad decisions this year, with cancelling Battle Creek and Stalker and the way POI has been treated but keeping the now boring NCIS going along with rubbish CSI Cyber. (But this is just my opinion!)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Why the video says 'this fall'?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Either someone screwed up or they intend to do it in "early midseason", in late 2015. At least I hope so

    ReplyDelete
  33. I've just started S4 so I'll keep this page bookmarked until the finale so I don't spoil anything!

    ReplyDelete
  34. It's a fanmade trailer, probably made before the announcement of 13 episodes/midseason shaft. Only the very last part is new.

    ReplyDelete
  35. But Hannibal had other problems. For one it's acclaimed and cheaper to produce but was already struggling last season. The other thing is that from what I heard Amzon owns the streaming rights, so when Amzon said no, in my opinion, turned things difficult for them to be pick up for Netflix.

POI on the other hand already sold rights to WGN and Netflix. If enough people watch it, specially on Netflix (something the cast and crew kept saying on SDCC) there is still a chance even if small.

Don't forget: “There’s one thing left in Pandora’s Box: hope.”

  36. Funny thing, in Latin America the WB does have its own network, with all these shows.
