Lucifer - Kevin Alejandro Joins Cast as a Regular In Recasting

EXCLUSIVE: Kevin Alejandro (True Blood, Arrow) has been cast as a series regular on Fox’s comic book midseason drama Lucifer. Alejandro replaces Nicholas Gonzalez who played the role in the pilot, written by Tom Kapinos and directed by Len Wiseman.

Alejandro will play Dan, a gruff LAPD homicide detective who is wary of Lucifer’s involvement with his wife and daughter.

    I *really* hope Sleepy Hollow will take Nick Gonzalez back, I miss having eye candy on the show. :( I am both sad that Gonzalez won't be on as I adore him but am also happy because I love Kevin Alejandro as well. haha

    Does anyone have a running total of how many shows he's died in? It's got to be an expansive list.

    Great actor, but never seems to land on any particular show for very long. He deserves a break.

    I just realized Ur right. He dies in every show he appears. Some tough deaths, especially in True Blood.

    But this better than C Polaha. Every show he stars/appears for a longer arc dies.

    So I'm not the only one!! He ruined The Returned and a good storyline on True Blood for me. And I loved Golden Boy, Theo James was perfect in it, but Kevin was just so annoying.

    He's still alive in The Returned US (which is already canceled). Although I'm hoping, had it been renewed, that he would die there as well 'cause he's a jerk.
