Senioritis. Well, kinda.
Aside from the fact that Malia (Shelley Hennig) may not even be a senior, our favorite Beacon Hills pack is adjusting to the finality of high school and what that means for their friendships. One character in particular is having a hard time thinking about the future.
Scott taking charge
With Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) out of the picture, Scott (Tyler Posey) is embracing his True Alpha-ness and acting as a sort of mentor to Liam (Dylan Sprayberry). Things are coming very full-circle.
Lots more Parrish
The Deputy (Ryan Kelley) is determined to prove his worth at work, all the while trying to navigate his supernatural side.

I still have no idea if I'm going to watch this or not, I love Scott and Liam, and more Parrish sounds great. Everything else is turning me off it big time.

ReplyDeleteThe 2nd half of S04 was so anticlimactic and not only in comparison to the previous seasons. The disappointment is on par with the stuff that Arrow pulled of this season.

ReplyDeleteYou mean the returning character? If it is Daniel, Colton or Crystal (that one is very unlikely though) that's just another thing turning me off it.
ReplyDeleteI'm super intrigued about this season. I expect so much more since they have had almost six months to create the season compared to the short amount they had between S03 and S04. So I have high hopes.
ReplyDeleteI kind of hope the surprise return is Jackson. Because of Arrow he was suddenly gone and I was looking forward to him embracing being a werewolf.
The only thing: Jackson left in a weird state. Like vulnerable and saved by Lydia while still being a jackass. I don't think he would fit in well with Scott being the Alpha, since he always disliked Scott.. He would have to go through a major character change (and not like Derek who was a nice person and just had anger issues). Because of that, I don't think it's him.
Since I haven't heard anything about Crystal finding a new show or anything, I hope on the other hand, it'll be Allison returning, maybe as a villain who will be saved at the end of the season, maybe a doctor?
I don't know what to think.. Most likely is of course Isaach or even Danny.. He's been absent last season and would be a nice addition again.. ugh! I want to know.. why isn't it the 29th already????
I wonder how they will play explain Dereks absent as I thought the Desert Wolf would be his and Braeden's story line and then tie back in with Malia and Peter. But oh well. I am so excited for more Parrish tho, I hope the reveal of his "species" won't be a let down as it's been so hyped up since well since he's been hinted to be supernatural. One thing I am unsure about are the flashbacks. I love them in shows IF they are good made but finding out more about characters past to understand them more is always satisfying imo hah The surprise return is probably Danny as we haven't seen him at all which is tbh is actually kinda realistic, he was best friends with Jackson and boyfriend of Ethan so he sometimes hang out with the "main cast" but since both are gone he is not forcing himself in the group if anyone gets what I mean hah Anyway I am super duper excited!!!!
ReplyDeleteI mostly lost interest as well last season. It just lost its spark for me. Id have to rewarch it to see if i will actually watch this.
