    I really think it can succeed in that timeslot.
    The shows that previously premiered in that timeslot were not as appealing as Quantico (Betrayal, 666 Park Avenue) which is why they both were cancelled IMO.

    Usually you only hear announcers mention actor's names in trailers/promos when they are really known, so this is very weird.

    They really want it to succeed I think despite the timeslot. Although over-promoting can go either way ; OUAT in Wonderland was over-promoted but aired in the wrong timeslot and it just flopped unfortunately.

    Ugh, another tacky and flat promo from ABC. I guess they are focusing on Priyanka's looks to distract us from her horrible accent. I was going to watch CSI finale live and maybe catch Quantico later online. However, I think I am not going to bother. Someone needs to fire ABC marketing department,

    I liked the last few seconds of the promo, but I wish they had not used that cliche opening... again.

    The new "Ultimate Betrayal" promo is the best one yet.
    Also, the show can't be in production already since Priyanka is shooting a fil in India these days. Looks like the released that promo/featurette early.

    Very, but this show doesn't seem very interesting (it looks like it'll try to be smarter and more interesting than it really is) and the weird focus the campaign has on her hotness is not enticing.

    She is American Indian (as in of India, not native American), but strangely, she does sound at times like Archie Panjabi, who is British Indian, but plays and American Indian on The Good Wife...

    I disagree a bit, because it's part of the [physiological?] thriller appeal. If these characters all find each other attractive and/or have sexual relationships with each other, it makes it harder for some of them to pay attention and accept the truth about each other/themselves and it makes it harder for us to know when someone is being genuine or when someone is just using somebody else.

    I get that don't say anything against it, but it is getting to much attention.
    Why not show the other characters? Focus more on the other characters? Story? Bombing?
    In my opinion they are target the wrong demographic with this type of promos.

    Yeah one of the promos even has her in a blue dress off a white back drop showing her legs in a almost seductive way. She's hot, but come on focus more on the plot than just her hotness.

    Yep instead of oh say actually using the product or any sort of the work itself they go with a nude or scantily clad attractive actress which has nothing to do with the show itself quality or writing wise. Not only is it sleazy objectification, but it's just a bad marketing.

    Why not let her use her real accent? I mean usually i never hear an accent in actors or actresses who have them but with this actress, i can't barely buy that she's an American.

    Are you referring to Quantico or The Good Wife Actress? For Quantico that is probably close to her real accent she is American. It could be though that one of parents has a British accent, if they immigrated from the UK and therefor she just might have a unique accent and she's curving it a bit on behalf of the producers. I don't actually know what the preferences and/or stipulations are in terms of what one needs to apply to the FBI, but I imagine just even as a trope in the genre, that they want the characters to appear more American than not, at least at first...The later promos state they all have secrets and things to hide/may all be related to the bombing some how. So maybe she will have a more interesting background than what meets the eye here...

    Priyanka sounds strange in 'Ultimate Betrayal' promo. It seems like they altered her voice post production In fact it doesn't even sound like her. Did you notice there wasn't any clips of her speaking. Are they going to alter her voice in the show too? What a tacky move by ABC.
