  1. Possibly the best episode of the entire series. Everything was absolutely perfect and I could not be happier. There wasn't a single boring moment.

  2. They did a great job this episode I really enjoyed it. It was darker than I expected and it just made the show a lot more intense I actually got scared sort of a one point. I Didn't care much about the answers because we still have 9 more episodes to go. Loved it

    ReplyDelete
  3. It was so intense and twisted. I loved it! Coupled with the series 5 finale I think these two episodes are some of the best PLL episodes we've had for the last two seasons.

Also, the fact that Sara is alive and was used as Charles' replacement Alison for those 2 years is so sick and fascinating at the same time.

It also kills one of the biggest theories I had about this season so that also surprised me. Which I liked ;)

    ReplyDelete
  4. Wow that was an incredible episode! It was dark, twisted and emotional all wrapped up in one just how I like it. Sara is alive AAHH!! And I actually felt really bad for Mona, I'm glad the girls got her!

Did we hear a first glimpse of Charles voice when Ali called that person in her car when it broke down?

    ReplyDelete
  5. This was a really good episode... some of PLL best work. this season is looking really good, everyone was on point to in this episode. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Did I watch a different episode lol? I thought that was pretty boring.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Love it one their best episode so emotional and dark

    ReplyDelete
  8. Also what happened when the girls went into their rooms? I heard faint screaming and everything and then it said "3 weeks later". Did something really bad happen to them?

    ReplyDelete
  9. I have the same question WHAT HAPPENED!! Hopefully we will find out soon!

On reddit, someone transcribed the journal Tanner was reading (Andrews...supposedly):

It's people like them, people like Aria with her aloof, doe eyes, and Spencer, that smug overachieving know nothing know it all, and Hanna and Emily that are the root cause of all that is bad in this world. They like games? Well so do I. I fantasize about watching them scream, about watching what it takes to make them turn on each other. It's not that I hate them, I don't. They aren't evil. They just play everyone like they're game pieces. Like pawns. I'm not pawn, and they can't play me.

  11. I mean, those girls can get throught anything and no suffer even a little bit of PTSD, what kind of BS is that? Do you think that afetr being kidnapped and mentally trotures for 1 month im gonna be asking to my friend who the fuck anyone is? C'MON.
I really need those girls going crazy, the only one that is close to that is Mona.
Awesome episode but just something off on their behaviour.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Sighs* only thing to get our head to someone else. We know betetr and Andrew will end having nothing to do with it

    ReplyDelete
  13. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 03:48

Theirs images of Spencer in a mental institution (possibly Radley), it's the same episode Maddie Ziegler is guest starring in. So it looks like they do show the signs in 2-3 episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Except for that pedophile in the car with Caleb.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 03:50

Yeah. I saw someone on reddit suggest that Andrew is probably dead and his body will show up in a few episodes to make the liars/police think it's over. Then A will strike again leading to the unmasking.

    ReplyDelete
  16. What's Charles and dressing "Alisons" in yellow?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 03:52

Something I noticed, the C.D toy was a boat...in flashbacks haven't we seen Lucas showing a love for boats? I could've sworn that one of the early flashbacks in season 1 had Alison teasing him while he played with a boat.

Also C.D could stand for Cece Drake...

    ReplyDelete
  18. Considering they finally revealed A as Charles i think it's his toy

    ReplyDelete
  19. It was surprising that it was an ACTUAL hole and not just a room that Mona called. The voice sounded computerized to me, BUT you ever know.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yeah i think specifically Hanna will the suffer MOST severe symptoms of PTSD, seriously though what the hell happened when they into their rooms?!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 04:06

They had to take the Milgram Experiment.

You can briefly see the buttons and someone pressing them in the next episode promo.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yeah i think that's the question everyone's asking, because you don't gloss over that.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 04:09

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milgram_experiment

People are strapped into a chair and asked questions. They answer by pressing the buttons in-front of them. If they get the answer wrong they get an 'electrical shock'.

It's a mental trick though, the sound of electricity plays and the person thinks they are getting electrocuted but they really aren't.

The test looks at how willing someone is to obey an authority figure.

    ReplyDelete
  24. What the hell?! This guy's insane!!! But shouldn't they know once they're not electrocuted?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 04:14

They still get the sensation of an electrical shock but it's not 'real'. It's a mental trick playing up what someone expects and fears.

A user on reddit grabbed pictures from the brief glimpses in the trailer too:
    http://imgur.com/a/vjyKu

I assume this is why Sara is broken. A probably had her do it every day for a few months and she broke down.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Wow what sick mind would even want to CREATE that? I don't mean on the show and A but in real life, yeah that explains why she's like that, could the girls have been broken if they were there as long as the other girl? The smart one i think could last longer than the rest i think.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 04:25

It was created due to some questions being raised about Nazi Germany. The test was meant to be used on accomplices to the holocaust to explore them psychologically. Mainly looking at "Were they just following orders?"

It raised many ethical debates science-wise and I don't believe is really used anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Well good, and do you mean they thought they were being brainwashed?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 04:29

It was more looking at if they were really accomplices or if they were just obeying authority.

During the test they're ordered to keep going and answer questions. If they keep going then they were just following orders (regardless of how dark the orders were). If they broke then they were doing those dark acts willingly.

Of course it's much more detailed then that, but that's the general gist of it.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I can't even describe how amazing that episode was. Holy crap PLL is back and it feels like a whole different show! Defiantly in the top 5 best episodes of the series. Bring on the next 9 episodes!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Why did the voice sound like aria's dad? When I heard that it instantly (too me) sounded like Byron lol

    ReplyDelete
  32. Really loving the last 2 episodes and how dark they were. I hope it is like that all of 6A! It's a breath of fresh air.

    ReplyDelete
  33. From next week's promo, I think they might be going the PTSD route with Hanna. Which I'm very excited about. And Spencer did have something of a breakdown in season 3 when she found out Toby was working with the A team and ended up in Radley.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 04:55

So I just rewatched the episode...theirs 2 A's in the dollhouse.

It's most noticeable when the liars burn Charles Soul Room. The first A is watching them through the camera system, the second is watching them through the glass window. On my first watch I thought it was a mannequin but it's not. After they burn more stuff the A staring at them through the glass disappears (to activate the sprinkler system) and the first A was still at the computer...

Perhaps Uber A was at the computer while Big A (Charles) was watching them burn his room?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I first thought it was a doll but when they show the roo,, A was there watching and they cut in a sec to the room and he was gone to make it look like he run fast to hide or something.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 05:06

I believe the second A ran out of the glass room to trip the sprinkler system. It was probably Charles and he wanted to save his stuff/memories.

  37. Ok.... I wanna know who voted awful. The devil is a liar!

This episode delivered in so many ways, in fact I truly feel like this episode alone>>>the entire last season.

It had the creep factor that so many fans had been missing. It was truly a dark, twisted episode and I loved every minute of it!

The girls all delivered such great performances and I love that this experience has brought them closer! May the rest of the writing and directing be as stellar as this premiere.

You mean Ezra the essence of perfection? He's not that much older than Aria, and sometimes age is only a number. I had a thing with a teacher my junior year. He wasn't creepy, or a pedophile in any way. We had a real connection.

    ReplyDelete
  40. In COLLEGE right? PLEASE say college!!! Age IS a number when the older person is with an UNDERAGE person. It's called statutory rape if they go all the way.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Yeah not seeing the video, the guy creeps me out and knowing the title even MORE LOL, but thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  42. A really really good episode! Probably the best one in a long long time.
Loved the Ali-Ezra-Toby-Caleb team up! Really smart and well layered. I enjoyed it.
I just would've loved to know why they are suspecting Andrew? And how they got to that revelation. Maybe a fb. Ali wearing that yellow top was creepy.

I seriously teared up when the girls reunited after 3 freaking weeks. What a moment.
Mona's break down while in the whole was wow! Just wow! I loved when they all reunited, really powerful move.

The "Sara" twist was amazing! Loved it, really great. They choose the right girl she channeled her inner Alison so well.

AND the biggest Q for the end: Who is Charles Di Laurentis?
I just hope the girls are smarter than to hide this from the police cause it really seems like that.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I just watched it Chris! What an episode!!!!!!!!!! This should've happened ages ago, I hated them for stalling and love that they aren't anymore and we'll get everything in the next 9 eps.

U are reading all over the place, thanks for all the input. There were certainly 2 A's in the layer. I assume Andrew and Charles maybe?
I loved the Sara twits. After she published that pick everyone thought she would be Bethany but she is freaking Sara.

Really intrigued how they will resolve all of this.

    ReplyDelete
  44. It's the Buffalo Bill ( and Brooke { Erica Hahn } Smith of Grey's Anatomy ) scene from "The Silence of the Lambs", where he has Catherine Martin rub lotion on her body well imprisoned in the hole to prepare it for his "woman suit" of real skin.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 09:12

Amazing episode! Infact...it may have entered the top 5 for the entire show. Easily top 10.

I'm thinking Andrew is dead. He's too obvious to be related to A but he's an easy piece that A could use. Kill him off, plant the body and make the police think A is dead. It wont stop the liars, but without the police involved...A can start plotting properly again.

And yes! It's Sara! Yay for continuity! I guess this is why they told us signs would date back to season 1 when Sara was first mentioned.

On reddit I saw someone suggest that 'the night' when Alison disappered, Charles hit Ali and planned to take her to the dollhouse but was stopped by Jessica. The next day, Charles kidnapped Sara. So she's been locked up for...3~ years roughly.

    ReplyDelete
  46. There were a lot of good episodes in S01 and S02 when things started to develop, but think this is a top5 entrance for sure.
I think Andrew could get killed now. Cause atm he is a loose end, before the escape he could've been useful. But wait did "A" ever kill someone besides Jessica? I don't think so. Ian was let down by Ali and Aria took out Shawna, and who killed Walden again? And we don't know what happened to Bethany. I like to think "A" isn't crazy in that way.
BIG YAY for continuity. Even though I would've loved to see Bethany, Sara can add so much to the story.
That is a good idea for about Charles wanting to kidnap Ali but got stopped by Jessica. Looked up for 3 years, Holly Shhhhhh.

Can't wait to see what they reveal next week. Seems like Hanna/Ashley will get some emotional stuff to do, can't wait she's my favorite Liar. ^^

    ReplyDelete
  47. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 09:36

It's generally believed that Charles killed Marion (Toby's mother). We also don't have proper confirmation on who actually killed Garret and Maya.

Melissa heavily implied that Wilden killed Garret while Lyndon never admitted to killing Maya (and they've hinted in interviews that A may have been more involved in Maya's death then we think).

Next week looks like an emotional wreck and I can't wait!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yep just scarred me for life LOL

    ReplyDelete
  49. Aham aham. So many questions and we need more and more answers. Next ep can't come soon enough.

    ReplyDelete
  50. We can't get 'everything' in the next 9 episodes as we still have the other 10 episodes in the spring and then all 20 episodes of season seven to get through .... we still have 39 episodes left.

    ReplyDelete
  51. On the show Ezra is 24 and Aria is 18.
( they are six years apart )

Ian Harding who plays Ezra is 28 and Lucy Hale who plays Aria is 26 on June 14th.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I know we won't get everything. I meant the story and reasoning behind Charles. They will keep all things they don't have to reveal secret.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Is the 'mystery' of 'A' suppose to wrap up after these 9 episodes and then the remaining 30 on something else ?

    ReplyDelete
  54. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 11:08

IMK mentioned that the Black Widow is 'endgame'. So it's assumed that the remaining 30 will deal with that. The Black Widow costume was seen in some of the A ending scenes so it's tied to the overall A mystery.

IMK has also mentioned both a Big A and an Uber A. Charles is Big A while it's assumed that the Black Widow is Uber A.

They suspect Andrew because they found A's lair at the end of season 5 at his families farm. Plus A has planted some evidence to make him seem guilty (like the diary).

    ReplyDelete
  57. Ahhhh yeah! Forgot about that. ThX! ^^

    ReplyDelete
  58. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 11:20

If your curious, people on reddit transcribed as much of the diary as we can see too:

    First page:

"It's people like them, people like Aria with her aloof, doe eyes, and Spencer, that smug over achieving know nothing know it all, and Hanna and Emily that are the root cause of all that is bad in this world. They like games? Well so do I. I fantasize about watching them scream, about watching what it takes to make them turn on each other. It's not that I hate them, I don't. They aren't evil. They just play everyone like they're game pieces. Like pawns. I'm no pawn, and they can't play me."

    Second page:

Once you know what someone cares about [it's] easy to beat them, to separate them. Just [like] chess. I lure each one and I isolate each [of] them, and knock them off the board. I [am] grateful that Mona so unwittingly [...] play me, because now all the pieces are [...] chess pieces, all mine. And when I [...] and I will, that's checkmate for [...].

When I think about what [...] sometimes I have doubt they [...] not a bad person and I [...] that what I am after is [...] justice in the universe [...] unwilling to provide it [...] any longer and where weaker and [...] I'd dragged them [...]

    ReplyDelete
  59. Do the names under the 'twins' pictures seen in the Dollhouse say James and Bethany ?

    ReplyDelete
  60. I love those devoted fan, bringing me great pleasure. 2 very devious pages, just don't know if it's a real or better said if Charles wrote it or just planted to be found with Andrew.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Disappointed. Once again it was more empty filler and no development. It's getting tiresome.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Erza doesn't realise he's hanging out with kids.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I think that is the dress she went missing in.

    ReplyDelete
  64. You & me, both, it seems.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Obedience, yes. The whole 'White Coat theory' and power corruption. Great experiment.

    ReplyDelete
  66. They've covered it (badly) in the past with Aria and Emily.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I remember Alison being aboard a boat while on holiday. That's when she met "Beach Hotty".

    ReplyDelete
  68. cRaZy Theory:

Sarah isn't the real Sarah Harvey but is actually Bethany Young other wise known as Jessica DiLaurentis's daughter, Jason's twin, Alison's sister, and Spencer & Melissa's half sister.

    ReplyDelete
  69. To me it sounded like Allisons dad.

    ReplyDelete
  70. You sure? aren't all the girls the same age because that cop or someone said ali is 17 so is she younger that them? See if she WAS 18 i'd be fine not SUPER okay but fine enough.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Which makes him worse, because didn't he also date ali?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Huh, twisted but makes sense

    ReplyDelete
  73. Christopher DeBono3 June 2015 at 14:26

Yeah the yellow dress is the one Alison went missing in but it seems to hold some bigger significance.

Alison witnessed her mother folding 2 of those yellow dress' during a flashback in the Christmas episode. Jessica told her not to tell her father or he would "leave the family". Ali asked the spirit of Mona if the dress was for Bethany but she denied it.

Considering Mona wasn't really there it could be false but it's like that Jessica was taking the dress to Radley. It's generally used as the foundation for the 'Charles is transgender' theory.

Bethany was also killed wearing the yellow dress so she must have been wearing one of the dresses Jessica took to Radley.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Not sure ... but ... the PLL Wikia has the girls listed as follows.
( I suspect these maybe wrong ... anyone know )
What is the present day date on the show ?
    Aria's birthday is July 22, 1994 { 20 }
    Alison's birthday is June 23, 1995 { 19 }
    Hanna's birthday is March 6, 1995 { 19}
    Spencer's birthday is June 12, 1994 { 20 }
    Emily's birthday is November 19, 1994 { 20 }

    ReplyDelete
  75. If that were true they wouldn't even be in high school, unless they SERIOUSLY flunked out.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Where's Charles/A in your theory?

    ReplyDelete
  77. Well, apparently he was investigating her, but sure looked attracted to her. They flirted, never dated.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Don't be so uptight. :-) Sometimes an underage person can even be more mature than adult person.

    ReplyDelete
  79. And, this is the reason why i've never watched The Silence of the Lambs and never will.

    ReplyDelete
  80. PerryGoGrrr 💛3 June 2015 at 15:12

It was high school. I'm 22 now, and we talk every now and then, but I really don't see the problem, I was 16, and we had feelings, it wasn't all about going all the way by any means. We just connected. I mean I understand any younger than 16 because that's getting a bit creepy, but 16+ should be able to consent on their own. I've always dated older, but he was by far the oldest. I usually date 1-4 older but he was 32 at the time. I just don't see how Ezra is creepy because, Aria is old enough to consent. She's a big girl. A guy isn't a pedophile if a 16+ consents, and they have a relationship. The law may label him as that, but I just don't see it that way. :(

    ReplyDelete
  81. 'Charles' is actually Bethany who is now pretending to be Sara Harvey.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Another good idea that went wrong. I really really hate when someone uses psychology to hurt someone.

    ReplyDelete
  83. lol

No sure where this wikia fan is getting their info from but that is what they are claiming.

Can anyone recall any of the girls birthdays on the show ?

    http://pretty-little-liars.wikia.com/wiki/Spencer_Hastings

    http://pretty-little-liars.wikia.com/wiki/Hanna_Marin

    ReplyDelete
  84. Wasn't filler lol

    ReplyDelete
  85. That's hardly a surprise. They're never in school and always running after the "A" of the week xD

    ReplyDelete
  86. We know from an interview last season when they were eluding to the A reveal that A was someone that we saw or at least knew of since season 1. So there is no way Andrew is A or should even be tied to A at all.... if he is not a red herring then I blame HORRIBLE writing =)

    ReplyDelete
  87. Yes, it was. Or maybe a better word would be 'padding'. Just a lot of hot air. Now we'll settle back into their love lives and move the main plot along at a snails pace.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Okay so if that's accurate then okay

    ReplyDelete
  89. Just what ADULT thinks it's okay to even flirt with a teenager? is their brain broken or something.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Ok-ay well just okay LOL, heck of a theory though

    ReplyDelete
  91. Shows need to have a "real-time" timeline to makes things as believable as it can be, like with ages, years, etc. in my opinion.
