Season Five of MTV's hit series "Teen Wolf" returns for a special two-part premiere beginning Monday, June 29 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT with a second new episode airing Tuesday, June 30 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Season 5A Description:

On the eve of Senior Year, Scott and his friends find themselves facing the possibility of a future without each other, a next phase of their lives that might take them in different directions despite their best intentions. Little do they know that outside forces are already plotting to break the pack apart long before they ever see graduation. New villains that use a combination of science and the supernatural for a malevolent and mysterious purpose that will eventually pit Scott and his friends against their greatest enemy yet.

Season 5A Character Bios:

SCOTT MCCALL (Tyler Posey) - Ever since the fateful night when he was bitten by Peter and turned into a werewolf, Scott and his pack have taken on any threat to come to Beacon Hills, be it Darach, Alpha Pack, deranged hunters or a thousand year old Japanese spirit. Now their greatest challenge lies before them: senior year. With his pack behind him, Scott prepares for the struggle of Senior Year, unaware of new threats gathering around him.

STILES STILINSKI (Dylan O'Brien) - Going into his Senior Year, Stiles remains hopeful for his friends to stay together well after graduation. Ever a thorn in his father's side, Stiles continues to find himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. But Sheriff Stilinski knows that Stiles always means well and will do absolutely anything for his friends.

LYDIA MARTIN (Holland Roden) - Despite being eligible for an early graduation, Lydia has decided to remain with her friends so they can be together for their final year of high school. She continues to hone her Banshee powers, with plenty left to learn. After years of hiding behind a false veneer, the true woman beneath has emerged to take her place in Scott's pack. She has also grown closer to Deputy Parrish while trying to help him wade through the mystery of his emerging powers.

KIRA YUKIMURA (Arden Cho) - Kira has finally found the group of friends that she's always wanted. She, Malia and Lydia couldn't be closer and her relationship with Scott is just about perfect. Both her Kitsune abilities and her sword remain sharper than ever. While she could not be more excited about Senior Year and the prospect of graduating with the group of friends she cares about so deeply, the Kitsune spirit inside her may have other plans.

MALIA TATE (Shelley Hennig) - To say that high school has been a struggle for Malia is an understatement. Having spent more time in the woods of Beacon Hills than out of them, Malia constantly feels the pressure to be normal. Surrounded by her friends and with Stiles at her side, Malia has found where she belongs in the world and is always ready to take on whatever comes her way - especially a fight.

LIAM DUNBAR (Dylan Sprayberry) - The newest member of Scott's pack and his first true Beta, Liam still struggles at times with the whole 'being a teen wolf' thing. But with Scott as his leader and mentor, they have continued to tame Liam's anger. This proves to be difficult at times since his best friend Mason has no idea what Liam is and what he's been up to with Scott's pack. To make matters worse, a familiar face from Liam's past resurfaces at the start of his Sophomore Year.

MASON HEWITT (Khylin Rhambo) - Ever at his best friend Liam's side, Mason is ready for his sophomore year. But he knows there's something weird about Beacon Hills, something lurking just under the surface. After he and Lydia were attacked by a Berserker, Mason is ready for more than just a glimpse of whatever is really going on. He wants to dive right in. Unfortunately, he may get his chance sooner than he expects.

JORDAN PARRISH (Ryan Kelley) - After being mysteriously drawn to Beacon Hills, Parrish has settled into his role as a Sheriff's Deputy. He is determined to prove to Sheriff Stilinski that he's worthy of his trust despite his recent assignments consisting mostly of paperwork. With Lydia's help, Parrish continues his search for the meaning behind his supernatural powers, each of them unaware of the danger creeping ever closer as their lives become more entangled.

HAYDEN ROMERO (Victoria Moroles) - Starting her sophomore year, Hayden never expected Liam, her grade-school enemy, to step back into her life. Now she has to juggle work, school, a sister in the Sheriff's department, and the vengeance she seeks against Liam.

THEO RAEKEN (Cody Christian) - Theo never thought he'd ever return to Beacon Hills. When he learned that Scott McCall, his grade-school friend, was not only a werewolf, but a True Alpha, Theo knew that the time was right to come home to find a pack. When Theo seeks out Scott, he's automatically considered an outsider by Stiles. Now Theo must prove to Scott and the rest of the pack that he's worthy of their trust as well as their friendship.

  1. Omggg ahhh I need this show to start now will this be the last season? I want it to have many mote seasons :). Even after stiles leaves lol.

  2. I don't think it's the last season. In fact I think the whole purpose of Liam and Mason is so they can take over the show when Dylan and Tyler P leave. It will be like Teen Wolf 2.0

  3. I think the Original cast will at least do a short 6th season, their contracts probably last 6 years, like usual.
If it'll move past that with a secondary cast is questionable.

  4. The 2 new characters... whats with them being grade-school friend/enemy with someone on the main case, Scott/Liam? and where ever the hell Theo was, he got mixed up in supernatural business also?

And its Hayden stepping in on Liam life not the other way around.

  5. Season 4 was pretty bad, and now Derek is not a series regular, and Peter is probably not gonna be featured a lot, I'm thinking about dropping it. But maaaaaaan, it's probably the last season, and there's a chance is could be just as awesome as the third was, and I love Stiles and Malia......but I hate Scott and Kira......can someone tell me what to do?!

  6. Yea I would rather they end it. I wouldn't watch on. I get the actors want to do other things but if they want to make the show last longer they there would need to be a better link with the characters from old to new. That's why I hate High school settings there is a time limit for the main cast to stay there.

  7. I am so excited for this!!! I love the new kids already and I love the Lydia/Parrish dynamic :)

  8. Watch it, of course! :-)

  9. Better to end it if this is what Teen Wolf 2.0 would look like IMO.

  10. This season better be good, last one was disastrous!

  11. This poor excuse of a show made by people without ethics and professionalism should be long gone.

  12. I really need Stydia to happen this season! I can't wait to see Lydia finally develop her abilities, though.

  13. stiles x malia and lydia x parrish omf .... disgusting

    ReplyDelete
  14. I just want some good Stydia moments, and to see Scott be the awesome True Alpha we know he is.

  15. Seeing how this is more than likely this show's finale season I will be watching. Plus "science n supernatural" screams Stiles/Lydia n I love those two!

  16. It's not that usual if you look at the patterns on the show so far. Derek had been involved with Kate and then Scott got involved with Allison. Scott is bitten by Peter and is given a speech by Derek that he repeats almost verbatim to Liam after biting him. The further along we go, the more we get patterns repeating, so I'm not surprised to see these two things happening at once. Rather, I'm wondering who the third one is since things happen in threes on TW. Like, Stiles had two interactions with Kate after she came back where she got away, so I expect to see a third one where she doesn't. (As the Stilinskis say "one's an incident, two's a coincidence, and three's a pattern [and four's enough for a warrant]".) I kind of wonder if we're going to get Danny back in this regard?

  17. Yeah i am side eyeing lydia x parrish (unless it is platonic), but i don't think stiles x malia is disgusting.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'm totally okay with that as long as some people stay but a lot of people probably won't. Hopefully the ratings stay high.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I need as many season as possible lol. Hopefully some cast members stay like Scott he can be the new Derek roaming around the high school.

  20. Why are they putting 5A and 5B separate? This season will all be the same.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Senior year seems like a big sign, to me anyway, that this maybe the series concluding season or at least written like one should they not get any more seasons after 5B. And as much as I have enjoyed the show in a fun, guilty pleasure way I think it's time to go out on a good note. I can't see the show keeping up with the gang all going off to college. Buffy pulled it off but Teen Wolf is no Buffy. Sorry but it's true. I hope they improve this season over the last one and really give these characters a good ending this season in case it doesn't come back after these two split seasons.

Plus I just don't want to see my Stiles and Scott split up if they go to different schools or career paths. They need to be together they are the cutest friends. I can't watch this show any more if goes into some cheesy Teen Wolf: The College Years direction unless it was truly decently done which I can't see happening.

  22. I have the exact same feelings on the previous fourth season most of which I skimped over because it was just blah or missing something that they previous ones had. But if this is the potential last season and I have a feeling it could be if more of the cast, cough Stiles/Scott etc, don't want to come back to do other things, then I will probably check it out to see what direction they take it. Even just a few episodes to see if it's worth following to the end. If it's still lacking or the new characters are lame and get way to much focus I to will stop watching this season.

  23. Feels like it hasn't been on forever

    ReplyDelete
  24. The season after Scott and Stiles graduate and move on IS Teen Wolf's last season in my opinion. No offense to the newbie but there ain't no Teen Wolf without Scott and Stiles.

    ReplyDelete
  25. No Derek. No Peter. No Chris. At least a dozen new characters - most of whom look so much alike I can't tell them apart in pictures. I haven't seen anything written about the new season that makes me want to tune in. Most articles I've read are focusing on the romances, but I don't watch the show for that. And with Malia, who I can't stand, getting even more screen time, if that's even possible, and pushing Lydia and Kira further into the background, it's just all adding up to one big nope for me. I wish it weren't so.

    ReplyDelete
  26. There's nothing saying they're shafting Lydia and Kira. Kinda the opposite the first episode is said to be quite cool for Lydia. And most I've read aren't romance focused and Teen Wolf (after season one) has never made romance the biggest factor in the show so I really, really, really doubt that.

    ReplyDelete
  27. That's a little far.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Give it a shot man you clearly enjoy the show.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Maybe, but that's still pretty unconfirmed.

    ReplyDelete
  30. That's your opinion and you're welcome to it.I,for one, hated it with passion.

    ReplyDelete
  31. As long as you accept the same with your own.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Of course.Everyone has their own likes & dislikes.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I won't watch if it is Liam. I can't stand that character. He irks me everytime they waste screen time on him. I could stay on if they had other engaging characters, Lydia actually got a real storyline, and maybe brought back some others that never got enough screen time.

I am actually pleased to hear they are in their senior year. With the way Jeff Davis stretches time I didn't think they would ever get close to graduating. I think they were sophomores for 2 seasons or more.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I agree that Scott and Stiles are Teen Wolf. 100% agree. I could see sticking it out though but only if they had some interesting new characters. Liam sucks. Mason is Danny 2.0 already. Tall Prep Blond is so generic I have a hard time remembering his name half the time. Better to give the real cast more screen time, leave us with something to remember the show with, and go out with a bang.

    ReplyDelete
  35. At this point Beacon Hills High has such a hard time keeping teachers alive I could see Scott as a permanent sub, possibly for Coach.

    ReplyDelete
  36. What makes you think 5A and 5B will be the same? I thought it was having the same format as season 3 where each half was its own standalone story.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Buffy wasn't near as good when it did the college years either. Season 4 and 6 were nothing to write home about and 5 was iffy.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Ohhh yes that could work. Or a cop like his dad lol.
