Per THR, CBS has passed on Super Clyde this time too. And per deadline, drama pilot Doubt may still be in contention with a possibility for reshooting the pilot and multi-camera comedy The Half of It still appears in the running, possibly for midseason.

  1. So we'll have Axl on The Middle! Phew. In a way it is sad that Charlie's project didn't pan out, but at the same time I'm happy that he will be staying on The Middle

  2. CBS playing hard to get with their renewals and stuff. Those weirdos.
Lets see how they will handle their mew schedule.

  7. Big time. But CBs is trying to "reinvent" themselves and they are probably just seeking for the right solution. And the H5O and POI poor finale numbers didn't help for sure.

  8. Any idea when we'll have CBS renewals and cancelations ?

  9. probably tomorrow

  10. Great for The Middle!
Yeah I want Charlie to get his own show at some point, but I'd rather have him on Middle full time.

  11. Finale numbers include MS 1.0, POI 1.1, H50 1.1/1.0 and then you've got penultimate TGW 0.9 and Elementary 1.1. That's a lot shows hitting numbers CBS couldn't have imagined this season. So which vet will lose out because of MS early renewal?

  12. I don't think they care about last night ratings. Decisions are already made i think.

  13. Not that familliar with CBS shows, especially with those bubble shows. The overall performance will probably have a major input. Think Elementary is safe for syndication, TGW will get a short final season as it appears.
So POI and H5O seem on the chopping block, I think both could get a shortened season, especially if they ended on a cliffhanger.

  14. Probably not, but maybe the POI low made them decide to wait. This stalling is quite annoying, overall.

  17. They tend to keep most of it under wraps until the last minute.

  19. I wanted Super Clyde to work but I still wanted him in The Middle... I win and I lose.
Do you think the pilots will ever be released?!

  20. It's very rarely failed pilots get released, last year they released the pilot for Super Clyde. (That was the first pilot, this is the second.)

  21. oh, it did get released? Cause I've been trying to find it and I can't... Do you know where I can see it?

  22. CBS released the first pilot last year on their website,if you don't live in the states do a search on Google and I'm sure you'll find it.

  23. Thank you!

  24. I was more interested in Super Clyde the first time it was in contention, but I was still curious this year. But now I think they should stop trying to get this one off the ground.

Happy to hear The Half of It still has a shot for midseason!

Which one was Doubt again though?

  25. Doubt's most likely a goner then. Damn, two of the only few pilots I had interest in and CBS screws them (Sneaky Pete) :( And go and look at what shows were greenlit. Bleh.
