Oh shit!! Abby Abby Abby you slick little pyshopath! I hate that Ben took the blame for her, I would've sent her to the psycho ward for kids!

  2. Whoa, Abby is a little sociopath. Um, I was pretty worried about Christy at the end there. Don't be in a room alone with her.

And if you're going to kill someone, don't be so sloppy. THROW AWAY THE SHOES AT LEAST.

Ben taking the fall for Abby was sad but please get her in jail or at least the help she needs.

That was a great finale and I think I'm going to have to watch this Cornell Confidential thing.

  3. I just watched it, a interesting 4 minutes and 32 second

  4. Holy Crap, that was creepy...she is crazy....I loved Cornell in this episode. How is Season 2 going to be? They left it open to continue with same cast...didn't they?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Crazy and amazing last episode. I wouldn't be surprised if Abby kills Christy very soon as Abby's confession sealed her fate. It'll probably be the start of season 2.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Can't believe Ben denied killing Tom all season then Boom he confessed for Abby. After watching Cornell Confidential im ready for season 2!!! Definantly was a great show all season.

    ReplyDelete
  7. so they didn't change it from the Australian version?

    ReplyDelete
  8. I just watched it too and am so glad Cornell found Abby. Hopefully she'll be punished and kept away from others.

    ReplyDelete
  9. That sucks !! I really want to be surprised !! Since i watched the Australian version.. I knew it was abbt since day one.. They promise it's not the same killer.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Voted Ok, thought it was pretty boring and disappointing :/

  12. Yaaaaassss! I knew from the start that Abbie was the killer and Ben would take the blame.
Stunning season, but i wish they would've closed the case in the finale and have a brand new mystery in season 2

I don't know if I'm here for 10 episodes of Cornell chasing down psyco-Abbie. I fear they've made the same mistake The Killing made.

  13. Thanks.
Sadly I can't view it as I am not in the states and that is the only place it can be viewed. Is it on YouTube or anywhere else ?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Does anyone know the song near the end of the episode?

    ReplyDelete
  15. I'll try to check for you omg that's sad didn't know that

    ReplyDelete
  16. oh wow so they didn't pull an Eye Candy(DAMN IT IT SHOULD'VE BEEN RENEWED!!!!!!!!!!)? where the killer WAS different?

    ReplyDelete
  17. From the lyrics I'd say the title is "It takes a lot to know a man" It should be the first thing that comes up on YouTube.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Oh my damn. Omabin was so right from the beginning. Congrats. Kinda proud of me (lol) for predicting that Ben would take the blame and end up in jail.

That was a good, very well done season.
Can't wait to see what Cornell is up to in season 2. (I mean ABC have to renew it)

  20. AHHH!!! such a fantastic finale. Looking forward to them going after Abby in season 2! Also I can't watch Cornell confidential cause I'm not from us but it seems like Ben died in prison and Natalie and Cornell are going to try and go after Abby??

    ReplyDelete
  21. I gotta admit these last few episodes I have really started to like Cornell. Especially after tonight's episode.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Wow! What a great finale! Just teared up all over the episode.
Abbie playing innocent? Yea right she was trying to frame Jess. O.O
Loved Natalie was the only sane person there! Even though I thought she was the one to have killed Tom Indiana is a tremendous actress, hoping we'll get much much more of her.
I hate they released that last part of the story on Cornell Confidential, can't watch it from here. Seems like Ben got killed in prison or so.

I really hope they release the other ending(s) as well ( KaDee said in an interview they've shoot 2 or more endings).

  23. same killer different show

    ReplyDelete
  24. Actually, I don't think they ever said that the killer would be different.

As much as I loved this season and as much as Ryan & Juliet did an amazing job, two of my favorites, It would be ridiculous to prolong this story. It is clearly meant to be a one-off story and that's how it should stay.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Okay, that ending was kinda disappointing. Didn't they say it would be an anthology and seeing by how the finale ended, it looks like they will continue this story in season 2. They could also have another case in season 2 with Cornell try to catch Abby as well.

Also, [SPOILER ALERT]: It looks like Ben might be dead 14 months later from the description of that Cornell Confidential video: http://abc.go.com/shows/secrets-and-lies/video/cornell-confidential/VDKA0_lldi6ll1

    Cornell: Confidential: 14 Months Later
Natalie and Dave celebrate her 18th birthday when Cornell walks in. With Ben gone, Natalie wants to help Cornell clear her father's name - even if that means testifying against Abby.

Can't watch it though, since it's region blocked. (Thanks ABC!)

    ReplyDelete
  27. They did say it was an anthology. KaDee Strickland joined the CBS pilot Doubt and Ryan Phillippe is also working on something else. When Strickland was cast in Doubt, the Deadline article said she was in Secrets and Lies for just one season (http://deadline.com/2015/03/kadee-strickland-star-doubt-cbs-pilot-1201384841/). I guess there could be references to the story in season 2 though.

And it's frustrating I can't watch that Cornell Confidential (even with Hola). TVLine has a brief description of the video in their recap (http://tvline.com/2015/05/03/secrets-and-lies-abby-killed-tom-season-finale-recap/).

    ReplyDelete
  28. They kind of left it open, but I believe they will have a new mystery and a new cast in season 2. Only Cornell might return as far as I know.

    ReplyDelete
  29. That was a great finale, even though I expected Abby to be the killer. I don't agree with Ben taking the fall, but I have to assume Cornell will put Abby away eventually (based on the Cornell Confidential, which I can't see). They apparently didn't change the killer from the Australian version, but I guess it worked best this way. Season 2 should be a fresh mystery as the Australian series only had one season.

    ReplyDelete
  30. And this is the part where I brag.... That I was right since the second episode of the season when it seemed like a crazy theory to everyone at the time! Ahah, sorry had to do it, I am kind of proud of myself!!

    Another thoughts:
    - finally checked out who the killer was in the original version (I spent the season without knowing) and it turns out it was the same. I gotta say, I think it kind of makes sense that it is that way. If you can just change the ending of the story like that, the story is not organic. The reasons I suspect it was Abby was because of how their relationship was being portrayed all along. That's intrinsic to the show's nature and as such, the entire thing would need to change instead of just the killer's identity to alter that
    - Loved the parallels between Abby and Cornell's daughter. In hindsight, that was probably the biggest hint of them all, and very foreshadowing, but I didn't got that one when that episode aired.
    - Surprised they left the thing open at the end, but I am still pretty sure they wouldn't try to continue this story for a second season, especially not sans Ryan Philippe. I think there could be mentions, but there is probably a second case taking over. I was kind of hoping for true anthology though.
    - Really hoping for that renewal, which should happen.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Ahah thanksss! I am kind of proud too ;)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Region block is a Bi*ch. -.-

    ReplyDelete
  33. I didn't thought it would be Abby, just because their relationship was that strongly put into our faces. I thought they were misleading considering the Au version.
I loved the whole set up and the conclusion. The show at the end showed a brilliant message, about the way parents threat their kids and let them pass for every bad thing they did.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I agree on a fresh mystery for next season.
I think the writers wanted to send a message with Ben taking the fall. After that scene Cornell had with her ex-husband and the follow up scene with Christie and Abby they had a strong closure.
Sadly I can't see Cornell C, cause of region blockage.

  35. Wow I was right ! it sad ! But this little girl is a psycho ! and Cornell is right, she can and she will kill again ...

I had a feeling it would be Abby, but I totally thought if it had to be her, the murder would have been purely accidental. I did not expect Ben to cover her tracks/take the fall....and I DEFINITELY didn't expect her to intentionally kill Tom. HOLY CRAP!

  37. In Cornell confidential, they showed the last part where there's a time up.It's around 4.5 mins long.Watch it.

  40. Use Mediahint and you're done!

    ReplyDelete
  41. So next season will be Cornell vs Abby ?

    ReplyDelete
  42. They ended the SL in the webclip.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I know. That is why it says 'now' 16. Implying that season two would take place four years later.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Agreed.

Weird that they changed Natalie and Abbie's names from Tasha and Eva but left Ben and Christy's the same excep heir surname was Gundelach not Crawford.

That was awesome, shoulda known little clingy Abby did it a serious sociopath, if it was up to Nat and Cornell she'd be locked up, last night was the first time I changed my mind about annoying Cornell, I really enjoyed this show, Ben did what a father would do in this case a bit misguided, baby girl is a little cray cray, can't wait for this story to be continued great ride, kept me hooked till the end!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. I am counting on you to upload that Cornell Confidential scene. Please. :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. I loved it. I wasn't even mad that they didn't change the identity of the killer and kept true to the Australian version. What I really liked about this one was Ben taking the blame for his daughter. One can never be sure of the lengths to which parents go to protect/shield their children so Ben's sacrifice was kind of tragic/heroic in my eyes.

I am hoping that there's a S2 and it follows Cornell as she tries her best to bring Abby to justice.

    ReplyDelete
  49. It doesn't matter if you took the blame for her, Ben... If Cornell put her own kid in jail, you really think she's not going to do everything to put yours (or anyone else's) there too? LOL... I was hoping it wasn't going to be the same killer as the Australian version, since I really wanted to be surprised.

  50. I'm so sorry I wasn't able to even watch the video. Stoooopid ABC.
I feel like I let you down sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Oh!! No worries though. I read the description of what happens in the clip so it is somewhat of a closure.

I tried to see it using Hola and MediaHint but for some reason it didn't work for me.
