  1. It was an ok episode. The show just doesn't wow me anymore. it is not must watch material for me anymore.

  2. Loved this episode! Sounds like we are in for an awesome finale next week. I really hope we will finally meet Callen's father. I am so glad this show has been renewed for a 7th season. I really like the dynamic Arkady adds to the show.

Thoughly enjoyed this episode, Arkady was perfect tricky, smary, spry and his desperation revealing another side. Looking forward to the finale.

  4. Sadly,,,that's pretty well how I feel about the show!

I used to really look forward to new episodes & enjoyed all the Densi moments...but as this season wore on...I just lost that loving feelin for both the show & all things Densi,

For myself.....things just slowly but surely started to go downhill after last season's terrific Frozen Lake episode..

After that episode...I felt .the show seemed to lose its way and it's mojo.....and they just haven't been able to get it back...at least for me anyway.

The powers that be decision in season 6 to go with mostly stand alone episodes & focus mostly on Callen & Sam....while pushing Deeks & Kensi and their Densi storyline into the background..( and. "teasing" Densi fans...with the old ..."are they together..or are they not" ) were large reasons for my lack of interest in this season's episodes

By the time they showed us that Deeks & Kensi were indeed an item...I had become so bored and disappointed at this point by what little Densi.stuff we had gotten to see..that for me...the thrill was pretty well gone...and.I didn't care anymore...one way or another

I still DVR the show,...but the last 2 most recent episodes...I started watching...and never finished either one...

I think the other thing that hurt my love for the show...was the fact that the stories & characters ...come off as almost cartoonish..when I compare them to the storylines & writing on shows like The Walking Dead...Games of Thrones. etc.

That's not the actors or even the writer's fault..because their shows are on one of the big 4 mainstream networks...who.seemed stuck in TV's past.....when ones compares mainstream TV,,..to those on the cable networks & Netflix.

( Speaking of Netflix & great acting & writing.....2 shows I would highly recommend would be "The Fall"..starring Gillian Anderson and "Bloodline"....which has one of the best..."bad guy who's so good at being bad & causing trouble". ever.......that you can't help watching him.)

I really likes the episode, well written dialogues, and I appreciate they dont make Deeks the clown anymore

  7. yeah...they teased the densi stuff for so long that by the time they got together, there was no magic. at least for me.

the writers have done this show no favors. turning these characters into comic book heroes. i enjoy the cast tho'...thus the reason i keep watching.

  8. The cast is good and you can tell they enjoy working with each other on the show.
I just wish...the producers & writers would have focused more on fleshing out their characters and making them...just as important ..as the cases their solving.
Too often this season....the show runners..made solving the case of the week ... the star of the show...instead of the other way around.

Who's going to care about the case..if nobody really cares or gives a rats be hide.. about the actual characters of the show?

I agree 100% with you..that the writers did nobody any favors...turning the characters into virtually bullet proof. super duper men & women.

    Explosive laden drones attacking LA?
No problemo...because it turns out...Nel ..unbeknownst to the fans and apparently...everybody else on the team..turns out to be a drone aficionado & virtuoso!!!

Who knew Nel's off hours hobby..would come in so handy saving LA & most of Southern California..from virtual destruction?

    ( I'm kidding...of course Heddy knew it might one day.....but then again..Heddy knows everything...but..I digress!! )

Masked bad nair do wells robbing a bank?
Have no fear... Eric and his amazing key pad and tapping fingers....will not only give us the identities of these evil cretins .but what they ate for breakfast......faster than the Flash can sneeze!

I understand it's a police procedural...with a highly skilled team picked for their various expertise...but...making them & the cases they try and solve....appear more down to earth....and less earth shattering.. would help make the characters and the show..a lot.more believable & enjoyable.

As I've said before ..when theirs a show on TV co starring zombies..who's writing is so good.that their story lines....feel more real & believable.....than a cop show based in modern day Los Angeles...well...Houston..we have a problem!

On a side note..while reading an article on the site that CBS renewed Person of Interest for next season..but for only 13 episodes..I noticed that the writer of the article....described both Hawaii 5 0 and NCIS:LA..as "bubble shows"

I'm no TV programmer..but if I was a producer or actor on NCIS:LA.....hoping to get to at least season 10..the odds are getting longer.....of that happening..unless the ratings improve next season.

This season..the show was fortunate..to be up against mostly weak competition on Monday at 10 PM.

But who knows..how long CBS..will be willing to keep the show in that favorable time slot..when it;s consistently hovering around or just under.. the 9 million viewers mark.
