  1. Not as bad as som series finales for shows cut short, I can live it. It's not like was really a cliffhanger or anything. Some people will cringe at the last few minuties because it was only there, but I don't mind it.

  2. Well that was an alright ending to the show…I can handle that. But I really wish we could have seen Jo's reaction. sigh Stupid ratings.

The show is not cancelled yet. I can't believe that so many people just accept defeat before it is even official. Stop talking about it like it is a series finale and start annoying ABC into making it a season finale.

As soon as I saw the old photo with Adam, I knew that Jo was going to find it and it would lead to her knowing the truth.

As far as Henry causing Adam to have 'locked in syndrome', I called that weeks ago. That death is not what Adam would hate the most but being in a long term care facility on a ventilator and being unable to move.

  5. beautifully done. yep, it was rushed a bit in some parts but I understand that ABC never gave Forever the atention it deserves so.. If the show gets cancelled I'll be happy with the way it ended, but I'd really love to see Abe, Henry, Jo, Lucas, everyone again. This show was really good, the lessons I learnt were good ones. The only family show ABC has.. or Had...

  6. Does the episode end on a cliffhanger?

  7. that was a great season /finale these writers know how to write.

The episode ended with Jo asking Henry to explain the old photo of him, Abigail and Abe....Henry told Jo, "It's a long story"

  9. I want more! I still say Adam didn't have the right weapon. I think Henry and Abe switched it for a replica and that's why Adam couldn't kill Henry.

I could really see this show lasting several seasons if ABC would just give it a chance.

There were so many amazing parts of this episode but I thought the sweetest moment was between Lucas and Henry. After Lucas left the pugio for Henry, said he did not care if got fired because he got to work with greatness and said the quote. Then Lucas said he looked up the quote because he wanted to sound smart and Henry told Lucas "You are smart"

  11. I did not consider it a cliifhanger, because you knew what Henry was going to tell her.

Season 2 NEEDS to happen. Please ABC. We have to see Jo's reaction. Especially because I imagine Henry will show Jo exactly how it goes.

  14. Honestly felt like nothing happened for the first 30 minutes. And what Henry did to Adam is really f*cked. And hated how they handled his secret in regards to Jo.

  15. God, I'll miss you Henry Morgan..

    ReplyDelete
  16. Its a long story.... Well fucking tell me next season you better.

    ReplyDelete
  17. The decision has already been made, and nothing you can do will change that, not that fan petitions work anyways.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I want season 2 but if this is a series finale it was a good one

  19. I have to admit I was as happy as Abraham to see Henry's naked body pop up out of the water at the end of the episode. We'll all just have to fill in the remaining stories in Henry's immortal life from our imagination. While not groundbreaking or extraordinary, Forever was a pleasant series overall that I will kinda miss.

  20. Awesome episode. Now the part about Caesar was a surprise. But the other things are interesting. For me season 2 is needed. Now as for how season 2 should start here is my idea:
"My name is Henry Morgan and i'm a immortal". "My story started (the number of years), when i was born, my life was pretty normal, until one night when i was shot with this gun".

  21. I really enjoyed it & the whole season to....I do hope they renew it but if they don't a big well done to all writers, cast & crew πŸ“ΊπŸ’• it's a Shane it didn't get the viewers it deserves πŸ˜”

  22. The way that scene played out, I think it's pretty clear we're meant to understand Henry will tell her, and that Jo is ready to listen to the whole complicated tale. If we do somehow get a season two -- and I keep hoping against hope here that it can still happen -- I think it will start with Jo either hearing and reacting to Henry's story, or having already accepted it. Probably the former, so they can also use that as a chance to re-cap for any new viewers. Man, I want so, so very much for Season 2 to happen!

  23. I was looking for a simple yes or no so thank you for ruining the ending scene for me lol. Now I know Henry and Joe are fine and not severely injured or something, same goes for Abraham because Henry wouldn't be chatting if Abe is hurt. But I'm glad they are fine, it's a huge relief.

    ReplyDelete
  24. If it got renewed either she'll be in on the secret or they'll say something like "you never told me the story behind the photo".

Do you work for ABC and have some inside information that we don't have? No official decision regarding Forever has been made. People online swore that Sleepy Hollow was going to be cancelled by Fox and that there was nothing that could be done. Fans protested and Fox renewed it for a 3rd season back in March. If I have learned anything it is that 'so called online experts' in what shows will be cancelled/renewed do not know nearly as much as they think they do.

  26. All decisions are made a few days prior to the upfronts.
Also, if you really think that Sleepy Hollow was renewed because of "fan protests", then you are quite naive.

  27. Henry needs to stop sneaky around he is so obvious no wonder Jo was angry. And than he flat out lies to her.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I still don't understand how can, what Henry did to Adam, makes him stay a kind, gentle, moral person. It's more cruel than simple murder.
Anyway, I loved the finale ( i hope it was season finale and not series finale). I love every character in this tv show. I really hope it will be renewed for second season..

  29. Pretty much your own fault... who asks a question without saying no spoilers? Are you stupid?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Better question, how long have you been a troll?

  31. Great episode. Really good ending to the season, and since it's highly unlikely it's getting picked up worked quite nicely as a series finaly too. Not a perfect series finale, but it fuctions well enough in that capacity too.

A little too shippy on the Jo/Henry front. That part of the show has
never been a selling point for me so "meh". But I do get it. I know I'm a
minority and it is a big deal for most people, so it made sense to put
quite a bit of focus on that.
For me, Abigail is the love of his
life and his soul mate and I prefer him and Jo as friends. So I will say the fact that the episode had some great Henry/Abigail moments too was quite a treat!

Lucas proving for the second week in a row he's been an excellent student was marvelous!

Abe guarding the safe was AWESOME! That scene between him and Henry was hilarious.

Glad they concluded the Adam story in an interesting way too, even if it was done a bit on the expense of the CotW.

Also another note: John Noble is the second "big name" guest star they've had that they underused. Oh well...

Anyhoo... It was good run Forever.

It's called a cliffhanger. It's to give them a lead in for the second season.

  33. Pamela Ramsay7 May 2015 at 04:01

I agree. It was stupid of them to ask that question knowing full well people are going to give details and not just a cut and dry yes/no answer. What a fool they are!!! They are the troll, not us.

  34. Pamela Ramsay7 May 2015 at 04:04

It's still a cliffhanger because we really don't know what her reaction will be to his story.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Just is what I mean is it's not a cliffhanger in the sense that if it quite likely does not get renewed it won't seem like a slap in slap in the face like some. But even if it gets renwed it's not something I will be waiting months to find out what happened sort of thing.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Nah, really? I watch over 20 shows but no, I didn't know anything about cliffhangers and how they work.

Did you not read the part where I said "stupid ratings"? I'm a bit disappointed because it would take a miracle to get a Season 2 for this show so we probably won't get to ever see her reaction.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Nah. You guys are just rude. Who calls people you don't even know stupid?

    ReplyDelete
  38. I really like the show as well as the cast. I like the solving of the murders like Sherlock Holmes. Interesting deductions, etc. I like the relationship of the cast. Forever aspect just makes it more interesting. Renew, Renew!

You must be her friend. Did you even read the conversation? Or are you just a johnny come lately who has to put your two cents in to feel important and big? I'm guessing the latter. That would make you a troll. Stupid is as stupid does.

A bit touchy are you? Pull the stick out.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I just know what it feels like to have someone on your case for no reason. I am the last person who wants attention. And calling someone stupid is rude. Simple as that. Would you like it if someone called you stupid?

    ReplyDelete
  43. I was feeling sarcastic that night. And you for some reason brought it out the worst. I'm actually very laid back but get annoyed when people spell things out for me when I didn't even ask.
