  1. SPOILER ALERT FOR NON BOOK READERS !!!

    5.10
"Stannis marches" => Battle of Winterfell is likely pushed to Season 6
"Dany is surrounded by strangers" => Maybe Dany is meeting with Khal Jhoqo after events at Draznak's Pit
"Cersei (Lena Headey) seeks forgiveness" => Walk of shame is happening in the finale !!
"Jon is challenged" => Jon may likely be stabbed by his brothers of the Night's Watch like in last Jon's chapter in ADWD

  3. It needs to happen. :/

  4. I actually JUST finished my rewatch of season 4 so I start GoT s5 today (FINALLY!)... Gotta get caught up so I can watch the finale the night it airs!

  5. Expected more from 5x09. I know it's just a press release and I hope it will be as good as last year's ninth episode.

  6. Damn it, they shoul have done tha battle in the ninth episode, like they did last year with the battle on the Wall.

  7. I don't think this is going to happen but I wanna say one thing: D&D said they were tired to listen about this character.
So, why do they call this episode in this way? lol
Thats just great, everyones finally stopped jabbering on about lady Stoneheart appearing and now the episode ten title is going to kick it off full swing again.

  8. I recall reading about some planned large scale battle that had to be toned down due to time restraints and I thought it would be the Battle of Witnerfell, but now I'm not sure... If you are right maybe it was Hardhome that originally was larger? Hmmm....

If the "Fierce Warrior" being cast for next season is a new Khal as many assume I think Dany will just end up on the Dothraki Sea surrounded by a mass of nameless Dothraki..

I'm debating who will do the "For the Watch" scene since Bowen Marsh is not really a part of the series... Alliser Thorne? Ollie?

  9. Mother's Mercy may refer to Khaleesi and the dragons.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I thought the same thing! XD

I think the title refers to The Seven - not LS.
Cersei will be praying to The Mother for forgiveness or leniency at her trial.

  11. I think the same thing, don't worry.
    My consideration was something automatic.
Don't worry. I know it will never happen.
But it makes me smile as D&D have fun with these titles particularly ambiguous. (Mysha in 3x10, The Children in 4x10 and now this lol)

  12. True.

And I forgot one other possibility...
Selyse begging Melisandre/ Stannis not to burn Shireen! Eeek!
I hope it is NOT that, but I guess it could fit given the hints given so far and Stannis marching...

  13. I think it will be Alliser Thorne.

  14. That Jon ending would be a great cliffhanger for the season to end on.

  15. I've always pictured Dany flying off on Drogon/ landing in the Dothraki sea, but I would prefer the Jon "For the Watch" scene to be the final images of the season!

    ReplyDelete
  16. The season often end on an epic Dany moment so that could happen but the for the watch scene would be brutal and brilliant. Mind you I always try to guess the season endings and end up wrong!

  18. or every 9th episode

  19. Im thinking ollie. Especially after that scene they had earlier in the season. Ollie wants vengeance for his parents death and jon has denied him that. Thorne would be too obvious. Hes had it in for jon ever since they met

    ReplyDelete
  20. After last year I started off thinking it would be Thorne, but I agree, after a couple scenes where Ollie was highlighted and seen to be unhappy with Jon's decision I started thinking it may be Ollie.

They have spent a good deal of time on him (compared to Edd for example) and it feels like there are setting him up for something....

    ReplyDelete
  21. My first thought as well, but I've started looking at Ollie these last few episodes...

So we'll have to wait a year until Jon's true identity and fate is revealed. :(

  23. Every thing written here could go either way and as Martin is saying he does not ask which way it will go I will assume the way that creates more upset in viewers.

Stannis has to sacrifice some one, would think not his daughter.

Jon is going to make promises for support that all may be for nothing as he has no power to deliver things

    Arya needs a love interest.

Dany is going to get beset upon by Harpies, (Remembering one of her dragons is free and was flying over head when Tyrion was in the boat.

Personally I expect Cersei will confess she had sex with the High Sparrow and that is why he has his position as septem. Under Mother's Mercy she may go free or he may get arrested or the gold guard could rush in and all hell breaks loose. But one thing is for sure there will be a confession, most likely to a rape or dirty deal.

And it would be a good time for a new vote being as the deciding vote is now dead among the crows

"Arya needs a love interest." Since 1x01 she has a soulmate who's probably "just" her cousin.

  25. wait so they actuall gonna end the seasdon going to Winterfell and not getting there?. I thought latest seasons were slow but this one wins over everything.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I wouldn't read into it or worry about it. 4.02 - "The Lion and the Rose" had "Margaery and Joffrey host a breakfast" as its description, and the Purple Wedding was one of the best episodes of the series!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Meh... my excitement for the show has dropped significantly lately.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Seriously! I know it's doubtful that LS will show at this point, but there's a part of me that wishes they'd surprise us! It would be awesome :-(

    ReplyDelete
  29. The appendix to 'A Feast for Crows' lists Lady Stoneheart as: "a hooded woman, sometimes called MOTHER MERCY, The Silent Sister, and The Hangwoman"...

Selyse would be more likely trying to convince Stannis to do it.

  31. Noneofyourbusiness30 May 2015 at 05:48

Just think about how next season they'll be getting into things the books haven't yet.

    ReplyDelete
  32. True she is a believer, but maybe theory and reality are two different things to her?

Just picturing the promo of her on the ground looking like she's begging someone to stop doing whatever they are doing. Something causes her to react like she does. If not Shireen maybe Stannis is in trouble? Maybe Stannis kicks Melisandre out of his camp and she goes back to The Wall?

  33. Noneofyourbusiness30 May 2015 at 12:38

A believer and she dislikes Shireen, her "failure". This would be a way of redeeming that failure by using Shireen in service of the Lord.

  34. This last two episode will be the best of the season, I hope so.

  35. Women too!!

I think, it will happen in season finale...--> walk of shame. :D can't wait to see her naked!!

  37. And when it's over, I'll rewind.
