  2. I still can't believe 1.1 for POI - and it was the season finale!

  3. Noooo :( But i guess it is not that bad considering in Chicago it was not shown at all and it is huge market. Still, it would be nice for it not to hit series low day before CW probably announces renewals/pick ups

  4. iZombie is for me sure to come back :) it's doing great

  5. Damn you Chicago for that preemption on iZombie :(

  8. Yeah it will air on sunday in Chicago still hate preemptions

  9. well...let's all form a prayer circle for a shortened final season

    ReplyDelete
  10. Still great ratings for The Flash but I wonder if it would have adjusted up if not for the preemption?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Thanks. Sucks its so low.. its hilarious. I love it.

  12. Most likely yes I'd say...

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hm... Not that good for iZombie considering the huge lead-in it had.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Without Chi town it would range in it's usual upper 0.6 s to get a 0.7. So I wouldn't call this tragic.

  15. When are people going to stop with this lead-in crap. It has been proven for years now that CW shows are lead-in independent.

They could have shown a show that dd 0.2 and iZombie would have still gotten a 0.6 and probably an 0.7 if it wasn't preempted.

  16. Damn preemptions for IZombie :( Poor PoI :'(

    Yay! Flash!!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Its previous preemption also garnered a 0.6.

  18. Most shows aren't retention friendly, TVD in its heyday never spawned any actual hit shows.

  19. That finale was greater then what that rating tells. i've said this before, Amazing show on the wrong network. in fact with the serialized aspects of seasons 3 and 4 it should have been on cable. Its just not fair man...

Hopefully Agents of Shield is Renew for Season 3

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yeah :( But it still did pretty good

    ReplyDelete
  28. iZombie RENEWED!

    ReplyDelete
  29. I knew there was no doubt. But it would look better if it was renewed and still stayed away from its series low

    ReplyDelete
  30. Mac no need to get all pessimistic just yet.

  31. I just want an announced final season *crosses fingers*. That's all I want. I just want POI to end well. It's had a great run and the only upside to these lowering ratings would be to have an announced final season and go out with a bang instead of a whimper like some shows that last 10 or more seasons.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Pity iZombie adjusted down :(

    ReplyDelete
  33. Man, the rating for POI is such Bullsh*t.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I don't know why Nolan wanted it on CBS to begin with. It's the land of procedurals and older viewers. Also, I think he made the mistake of starting the show out as more procedural with a serialized B plot and then switching it down the line. Not a mistake in terms of storytelling but in that the average CBS viewer wasn't open to it.

  35. Going by interviews, there's a natural engine of number of the week, which fits very well with CBS' brand of programming. And on top of that, there was a lot of world building you can do in the background while running the standalones, which they made great use of in Season 1.

In hindsight, the only thing I wish they did better is they were a bit faster in introducing the bigger aspects of the AI storyarc. How they did it is a pretty organic way to do it, but for a network like CBS, there's always gonna be some blowback. Think he knew it, but chose to do it anyway. Call it hubris or fearlessness, it doesn't matter. I'm glad the show's above and beyond how it originally began, and do hope they'll get to finish it out on their terms.

  36. Not looking good for iZombie. .6 out of 1.4

    ReplyDelete
  37. Thought The Flash was preempted too, of am I wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  38. American Audience is what happened..i wish there was some way non Americans can contribute to the show and help in it's ratings

    ReplyDelete
  39. A few years from now when the A.I Apocalypse will happen ,people will understand the magnificence of person of interest!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Yes was Flash was also preempted but it never adjusted down. Either it stays the same or adjusts up.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Person of Interest solo tuvo 1.1 espero que no la cancelen es un programa incrieble.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Im glad it has turned out how it is. the fact its my favorite drama of all time tells you something. i refuse to let any show take 24 from that spot for years until this one show up. thats saying whole lot by the way. sometimes i feel like some of the amazing stuff POI does in terms of how it presents the story is ahead of its time. people were not ready for post season 2 poi.
