  1. Well, this almost sounds like their season 5 finale, everyone leaving the Jeffersonian. Angela and Hodges going to Paris,Booth returning to the army and Brennan and Daisy going on a dig...

  2. I wonder if it means that Brennan and Booth will separate in the season finale and have to wait till next season if they reconcile.

Yeah...and if I didn´t know the show was renewed, this would sound as series finale all over:)

  4. Ew at a Pelant copycat. But I'm glad the show got renewed and I can't wait to find out what the real series finale title will be.

  5. Wasn't the title changed to "The Next In The Last"?

  6. Yes it does sound like season 5 finale, but when they shot this they didn't know if they were coming back so its likely that Booth and Brennan are not still separated by then. At least they aren't resurrecting Pelant. However it would be interesting if they tied what Pelant did to someone from a long time ago. I am very glad they are getting another season. I also thought they changed the title as well, I also hope there is the supposed " surprises" that Nathan kept on talking about. Cannot wait

  7. Again with Pelant? UGHHHHH I'm so sick of that guy. It wasn't good with the original, it can't be good with the copycat either. Pelant was one of the worst characters on Bones ever. The Grave-digger, Gormogon, Jacob Broadsky, all of them, so much better than he ever was. Why not bring a copycat of one of those instead?

  8. Yes I do not like Pelant either but Nathan seems to have a adoration of that character that escapes some of us. I really hope that in whatever way he is used in this story it makes sense with what the show has done over the last 10 years. They sure did pack a lot of regulars into finale. It sure will not be the finale they had last year but that couldn't be helped( because of Emily Deschanel being pregnant and all) Got to wonder what they have planned for next season.

  9. I rolled my eyes immediately at the word Pelant. Stop. Just stop Bones creators and writers. How much does it take to drill it into your heads that fans are sick of Pelant even Pelant copy cat killers. Enough.

  10. I feel fans may be missing the point. The spectre of Pelant being raised again is to possibly make the characters say "enough is enough!" and move on to pastures new, The difference here from the end of S5 is they move on as couples. Just my opinion of course.

  11. You have a point but they don't need Pelant to see how dangerous their jobs are. All they have to do is remind themselves of Booth being shot and being sent to prison as well as Brennan being shot. I do agree the biggest difference is they are couples now and while I still don't see the need for Pelant to be raised in this episode I think it will be done well. Remember this was also an episode that could have served as a series finale if it had to. Pelant or not I am looking forward to it

Season five had Angela and Hodgins moving to Paris as a couple, which is exactly what they are talking about doing again. The only difference is having Booth and Brennan move on as a couple.

It was written to be a series and a season finale because the show had not been renewed at that point.
