ReplyDeleteThe pilot was a mess but with each episode it got better and better. The excellent cast wound up working really well together and the writing really suited the characters. And Backstrom and Valentine's scenes together were always good. I just felt no one ever gave it a chance - maybe if the first episode had not been so jarring - the show jelled as it progressed
