    Now that the show put forth the Christy theory after I became convinced of it during this episode, I'll go with the dark possibility of one of the girls doing it.

    I'm with you.
    I've though it was Abbie since episode three ( "The Affair" ) when she got into a fight with her classmate Craig and made it seem like he stared it when actually she did.
    Christy is of course the big mislead before the final reveal.

    What about the best friend? Maybe he wants Christy. Maybe he's jealous of their relationship. Maybe he thinks if he can frame his friend for murder, he can have Christy all to himself.

    I've been thinking Abbie since episode 2 or so because of how much focus they've put on her relationship with Ben. I think Ben is still going to jail to cover for her though.
