  1. I wonder why they turn against Mellie.

  2. I hope this will be the last episode about B613. I'm tired of it and can't wait Orange to be wiped off the face of the earth.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Why is there no press release for the episode before this one?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Looks like it's the big story for the back-half of the season, so I doubt it'll be over with before the finale - but hopefully it finally ends there. This season started strong and has been really shitting the bed lately

    ReplyDelete
  5. ABC has done a lot of things ass-backwards with 'Scandal' this season: splitting episodes between A & B, issuing press releases and photos out of order, refilming of episodes, bad/deceptive editing. Makes you wonder whose in charge, they need to set things straight. It all looks very disorganized and disjointed...

  6. I don't care about Fitz and Jake, just don't ruin Mellie's dream.

    ReplyDelete
  7. By the name alone I was worried Shonda was going the musical episode route for Scandal like she did Grey's Anatomy with "Song Beneath a Song". I can totally picture Mellie just singing the blues.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Maybe because the public sees her as a ditz with no real platform - ornamental not functional. She talks a lot about her Ivy League education but does nothing to show she is intelligent (book smart but no common sense).

    ReplyDelete
  9. Most viewers are sick of B613 and don't care about Mellie's silly ridiculous plan to run for office while First Lady. Why is Shonda destroying her show? Is she just being stubborn about not accepting negative feedback? End these story lines before the ratings sink even lower.

Well at least Kerry Washington has her HBO movie that she is executive producing and starring in the lead role. Maybe she'll get a new series on HBO away from the arrogant clueless Shonda.

  10. oh crap what has Mellie done this time

    ReplyDelete
  11. Mellie is her own worst nightmare. She blames everyone else for her problems and has the emotional stability of a toddler. Mellie needs to grow up and stop expecting everything handed to her.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Lawd I'm so tired of B613 episodes. Seriously are there no other government organizations that can be written on the show? How about Olivia taking in a new/younger OPA Gladiator and start expanding her clients to work with celebrity Scandals? The show needs to go in a different direction. So boring now.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I don't get why they are making B613 go away. This agency is probably one of the most interesting parts of the show and making it go away i don't think that it will make more successful more boring maybe, but definitely not more successful.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I actually wouldn't be surprised if the title is literal and Mellie gets to sing a song. Bellamy has musical experience and is working on an album. Heck, her name is literally Melody.

This "Mellie for President" thingy is a fucking sick joke. When has Mellie even showed any trait of being a reasonable self dependent woman or has she cared about anyone else's well being? All she does is blame everyone for her problems and talks like a man when she's pissed.Well that only happens in Shondaland

    ReplyDelete
  16. B613, Rowan, Jake, and Mellie all should get their own show or kill them all off so Scandal get back on track.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Don't care about b613 or mellie and jake

I don't think the angry whining has anything to do with B613. If Shonda wrote an Olitz legspread into every episode all that complaining would just disappear.

    ReplyDelete
  19. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend7 April 2015 at 04:10

I love the B613 story arc. I think you whiners are in for a big surprise.

  20. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend7 April 2015 at 04:12

love love Jake. i'm so glad Shonda added him to the cast. I loved SCandal before he cam onboard but he took me to the obsessed level. Mysterious gorgeous sexy character.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Wow, seems like Shonda is not phased by rapidly declining ratings by continuing this embarrassing B613 and stupid Mellie for president plot line. Very apparent that she is a arrogant woman who doesnt take well to criticism

    ReplyDelete
  22. who cares about Olitz, this is supposed to be a political thriller not scooby doo and the gang's spy show. SHonda has successfully destroyed everything about that relationship, I sure is heck dont care about it olitz anymore. B613 is driving this show down more and more each week, its sloppy, and doesn't make sense on what was once an intelligent show. Critics and fans have had enough. If Shonda would get off her high horse she would see that and fix this show before its too late

    ReplyDelete
  23. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend7 April 2015 at 06:28

Geez. It's a political thriller and you believe that the government you see is the government at work. Bless your heart. The point of B613 is that it is supposedly there to protect the Republic. Tom gave us some clues about Olivia. You don't have a father. You have command and you have been taking orders from him ever since you were born. Olivia started B613 but we don't know why. However, her father revealed that it all has to do with pritecting Olivia. Olivia's mother, Maya is supposed to be an international terrorist or so it seems. But we learned in early S3 - Mrs. Smith Goes to Washington that Maya may not be what she appears to be. And has Rowan kept her locked up all these years in ecahnge for NOT killing Olivia? And who is the mysterious Cpatain Jake Ballard? He's linked to be B613 but not a B613 agent. And why is B613 Command tell Cyrus Fitz and Olivia could not be together. Why did rowan tell Cyrus he'd have to kill him if he told him? Finally, who the hell is Olivia Pope? She speaks, what a dozen or more languages including some African dialects. She's something other than a political fixer. I think most fans are going to love the reveals as we go forward because Shonda's writing is so meticulous, she can reach back into previous seasons and connect the dots to the current one.

B613 is a black op of the CIA, which has wrapped itself around the gov't and is basically controlling it. They are taking down that part. Recall in Spies Like Us in S2, OLivia was notified by Crosby (who killed himself) that B613 spies had been outed. The organization though was still mostly a secret.

    ReplyDelete
  25. olivia started B613? hmmk.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hi,

I put a comment on the show a couple months ago about being sick, that Shonda ruined every show I've loved, first with Grey's (let's face it, if she hadn't bring Lexie & Arizona, the show would have died by the end of season 6) and now with Scandal. The first 2 season were great, and the nonsense B613 came along, it was fine, and now, it really needs to be over.
I don't know which storyline was the most annoying of the season, Liv kidnapped (tough good idea at first) ? Mellie for governor ? B613 ? Shonda made a brilliant drama about a strong woman, now it's what, a lousy soap that really needs a connecting thread.
I'll see how season 4 turn out, but I'm pretty sure I won't waste my time staying awake every thursday nights till 3 in the morning (I'm from France) to watch this.

  27. still waiting for Olitz

  28. And now they are splatting some frosting on the shit they've created, trying to pass it off as cupcakes. I hope the collapsing ratings serve as an incentive to TPTB to reevaluate the direction of the show. I'm already dreading the neverending monologue from Rowan about how he is King of Everything and everyone else is just a whiny wuss.

  30. The show is just bad right now. It's hard not to take a pleasure in seeing the ratings drop. What sense does it make to do this Alias crap when Alias and many other shows did/do this spy stuff better? It's no wonder ABC has to now stoop to now trying trick us into watching this show.

    ReplyDelete
  31. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend7 April 2015 at 21:18

Rowan said he started B613. He told Olivia everything that he has done, which includes letting others hate him (S4 - The Last Supper) is because of Olivia. I really hope Shonda reveals what exactly Rowan was talking about.

    ReplyDelete
  32. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend7 April 2015 at 21:20

I don't pay attention to the ratings because I love the show, the story they're telling and the fabulousness of Shonda Rhimes. Maybe if the Olitz crowd stopped using every message forum to whine and complain, it would re-ignite the energy around the show - for them. The casual viewer loves the show as can be seen by the daily increase in FB likes.

    ReplyDelete
  33. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend7 April 2015 at 23:07

The market is GLOBAL not national. Scandal is having pheenomenal success. U may not care about FB likes but you are running anything so it doesn't matter. Scandal started out appealing to a specific demographic. AS the story arcs evolve, they will lose some of those fans and acquire new ones. I've been a Scandal fan from day one so I'm not worried about the ratings. Glee had a great run and will do phenomenal in syndication. Also Shonda said that Scandal has a time-limited run. So I imagine, the 5th or 6th season will be its last - probably to coincide with Fitz' two terms. I think if you feel the show has changed so much that you can't enjoy it, you probably need to find another show to enjoy. Shonda doesn't write for you. She writes for herself. She is telling the story and if you don't like it move on.

    ReplyDelete
  34. No need to lay it on so thick with the ass kissing. If you like this shit, good for you. But because this is a comments section, it's our right to express if we think the show sucks ass right now.

You'd think by now someone that's into Shonda Rhimes would have thicker skin.

    ReplyDelete
  35. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend8 April 2015 at 00:45

LOL! I think you're a little senstive. I love the show and the storytelling. I didn't suggest you shouldn't comment. I suggested you find another show more to your liking. You obviously don't like this particular show. So I suggested you move on to something that better suits your needs.

    ReplyDelete
  36. But you shouldn't have even suggested anything. It's not like i'm the only one expressing any issues with the show these days, so why say anything? You talk talk about moving on, why not do that when you see posts like mine?

    ReplyDelete
  37. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend8 April 2015 at 06:12

Part of commenting in a public forum as you said is people are free to comment, which is what I did. I commented on your comment. Very simple idea. You many not be the only one expressing issues with the show but you are the one posting on this public forum, which I read daily. When I see posts like yours I usually comment because I love the show and I believe it is my duty to rebutt viewer comments like yours as often as I can. That's the risk you take when you post in a PUBLIC forum - someone may have a different point of view.

The last episode made it very clear olivia is definitely the fierce woman we all fell in love with. We also learned she and Jake have partnered to take her father Rowan, her sometime friend Cyrus Beene and B613 down. B613 has been a part of the show since Spies Like Us aired in S2. Howeverm I agree with you. If don't like the show, you shouldn't waste your time watching it.

    ReplyDelete
  39. B613 at first was fine, but since they decided to shut it down by the end of season 3, it has become I love you, I love you not. It's the constant back and forth that annoys me, and shonda should decide once and for all what she wants with B613 and Rowan, and get it over with !

The ep on cyrus was good, and I was happy to see Dan Bucatinsky back, but as good the episode was (especially the scene between Cy and Michael). I don't get why it was put there, and annonced differently. The show really needs a connecting thread and consistency because It lacks both at the moment.

  40. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend8 April 2015 at 20:08

I just my post and it was an error. I meant Rowan started B613. I made the correction. Thank you :)

    ReplyDelete
  41. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend8 April 2015 at 21:03

Cece, Alice pointed out the same thing. I meant to write ROWAN started B613. That was my mistake which I have corrected in my original post. I think you hit it on the head when you wrote Scandal went to a dark place. And I have to agree. It went very dark. I think the Olitz part has gotten really interesting because we now don't know if Fitz knows that Jake and Olivia are working together to take down B613. I'm guessing he doesn't know. But I think both Olivia and Jake don't want to see anything happen to Fitz. Jake doesn't want to see him harmed because it would harm the Republic and Olivia doesn't want that to happen because she claims to love him. Seriously I'm never sure what Olivia is feeling given the last conversation she had with Fitz where she said. She became his mistress because that's what he needed. So I'm hoping we'll find out what's really going on as they move toward the season finale. I'm a Jake fan although I'm also on Team Olake. I like that Liv and Jake are working together but I'm not so sure Jake will stick around after his mission is over. He is like Olivia. She's all about the work and Jake is all about the mission. Yes i think he loves her but with him I think duty reigns supreme. So we'll see. I think there will be more Olitz. Since Rowan has threatened to destroy Fitz to get Olivia off his back, I'm sure there will be some romantic scenes for Olitz in the upcoming episode. I'm not an Olitz fan but it is a part of the story and I want to see the whole story. To me, the mystery/thriller aspect of show has intensified. Look at all the Gladiators for instance. Huck lied to Loivia about the investigation and seems to be still holding hs cards close to the vest on his wife and son. His son, Javi said he tracked his father's LOCATION by his IP address. Not possible. Quinn is keeping her relationship with Charlie from both Huck and Olivia. Charlie told us he's mostly a spy who spies on other spies. Abby's pillow talk with Leo is mostly about the WH. And leo is working for Sally and spilling those secrets to Sally. And Cyrus is gonna sabotage Mellie's political aspirations. Tp me it is getting really good.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Well, the way you put it sounds a lot more interesting and exciting than the way each episode has unfolded. I love Olitz but I also love Scandal and don't want to see it run down. A few really good "new" characters replace some of the "useless" ones would be a good first step instead of these random episodes with guest stars with a story line that makes not sense...that's what makes it boring because it loses its continuity. So, if they are to bring down the B6-13 it has to stay connected for at least a couple of episodes and get it done so we can move on. I think that's how the season will end and then we will go crazy all summer waiting for Season 5...Shonda has a way of doing that. Thanks for your input.

    ReplyDelete
  43. But you're not rebutting, you're just kissing ass & telling me to move on. Why bother saying this? Do what you want, but
it's just weird. I mean, I barely said anything, but you felt the need to respond to my post? I see plenty of posters bashing shows I love and I
could careless. Especially when it's a show everyone is bashing at the
moment. Unlike you, I get that i'm going to come across these not so
favorable opinions sometimes and I allow fans to express these opinions.
There's no point in ever badgering fans for having these views.

Interesting use of language "whiners" REALLY??

Yep. It's like reading a book that you don't like and not realizing you can stop reading it at anytime. Whiners don't realize they have the power to do something different.

  46. "Talks like a man when she's pissed" I shouldnt be surprised to see stupidity like this when you have a homophobic and an idiot as your icon

    ReplyDelete
  47. How you gonna blame Rowan for the B613 mess when he hasn't been in more than 2 episodes in S4B? Lol. Even Khandi and Joe can't salvage this.

    ReplyDelete
  48. derekmorgansfakegirlfriend13 April 2015 at 05:43

I imagine because Cyrus is also part of B613 and we don't know how or why. We learned that at the end of S3

    ReplyDelete
  49. I think many of us men like the clandestine stuff a lot more than the ladies....I like romance, and Olitz spark and many of us Europeans love their chemistry....but sometimes as a guy I like a little action and intrigue thrown in the mix.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I don't see how one would think Mellie needs to be written off?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Not any different from brilliant men with egos....it is an ego thing, not a gender issue. And by the way, sometimes it is the sponsors and network execs that order storylines be changed, edited, or killed.

    ReplyDelete
  52. B613 came in the second half of season 2.
