  1. I was done with Vikings when I thought they killed Ragnar but when I saw him jump out of the coffin that just made my night. I am so happy he is still alive and now I can't wait for the next season!

  2. I don't see him surviving next season, if that's a problem. I really did not see them fitting in this season. But his death should come swiftly now.

  3. That will be a problem for me if he dies because in my opinion Ragnar is the reason the show is so good. I have read articles about how they will probably eventually kill him off but I think that will be a big mistake but there again that is just my opinion.

  4. Ragnar still has some life in him, though he looks pretty rough. The show wouldn’t survive without its chief character and Travis’ stellar acting and charisma.

I know that Ragnar used the baptism to get Paris, but I know that he's simply beyond the pure concept of "the gods say this" or "God says so": that's why Athelstan was so important in his life and there was this perfect harmony between them.

To me, this is the highest compliment of which I'm capable to do for Hirst (despite the predictability) and for the show itself: thank you for this amazing friendship, thank you for the feelings, thank you for the tears. They really took away a part of me.

All hail King Ragnar. So glad I didn’t have to cry myself all day long.

  5. Chris Keller said this to Tobias
"You and me together? God doesn't have the balls to keep us out".

I'm thinking the same about Ragnar.

  6. The show is called Vikings, not Ragnar. His sons ultimately become more famous than him. And quite frankly, if they follow the established "history," then Ragnar's death will be a precursor to what could be the coolest thing seen in any TV Show featuring history and or/medieval style warfare.

  7. From the moment Bjorn gave the French Ragnar's request, and the subsequent casket-side conversations, I kept thinking ........Trojan Horse ! Ragnar, since day one has been a thinker and plotter. When the lid popped, I hollered HAAA at the tv ! Well done.

•Bjorn; "I honored my father, he IS the king" - well done Bjorn, well done
    ♡♡ : casket-side conversations ..........Ragnar's such a clever bugger; Lagertha - touching
•Rollo's face during Gisla's dissing speech; the man is smitten; prophecy revealed..... question is will he Really Defend Against Ragnar?
♡♡: Ragnar staring a Floki down: "you killed Athelstan" ........ ouch, this will not go well

    Snip'it :
    ♡♡♡: Bjorn Ironside battling a bear !!!!!!
    2016 is too far away

  8. Yes I think you are right as in season 2 or was is it season 1, the seer told Ragnar his children would become more famous than him. I look forward to that. Love Rollo's position.
