  1. THAT WAS AMAZING AND I LOVED IT SO MUCH. My God, that scene with Ward confronting the team was all I ever wanted and his endgame was getting Kara back to SHIELD. Don't give up on forgiveness. It's just going to take a while.

BUT NOT THE BUS. WHY WOULD YOU KILL THE BUS?

And oh shit at the end. NOT CONNECTED MY ASS, JOSS WHEDON.

    ReplyDelete
  2. A character died this episode. RIP The Bus. We'll miss you.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Thank God Bakshi died instead of Mike, like we feared.

    ReplyDelete
  4. What rating is above "Awesome?" An outstanding episode in every way and a nice set up for the Avengers Age of Ultron movie. Those action sequences were especially spectacular in this episode

    ReplyDelete
  5. There was a lot of speculation that Simmons had been brainwashed and Bakshi was going to activate her. I'm glad he's dead.

    ReplyDelete
  6. LOL the show FINALLY affected the MOVIES this time, Ward was supposed to re-join SHIELD though. I keep forgetting this team is the best NON-superpowered team in the MCU, even if Skye has powers now

    ReplyDelete
  7. OMG. AMAZING. AoS and The Flash got this combined, because both shows were EPIC tonight! WHAT A DAY!

Skimmons in the mission together was everything in this world!!

AND MY BABE SKYE was freaking badass!! I'M SO PROUD! she didn't even need her powers in that moment! *remember Daredevil, anyone?* YES. MY BABE Simmons was amazing in this episode too!

I'm so glad about how the team was taking the Ward situation. They are still A LOT mad (of course) and they just want him very FAR AWAY from them. I'm so happy!!!

"I'm still happy I shot you." YEEES. me too!!!

  8. I am guessing an Hill Cameo

now skye must choose her loyalty

    ReplyDelete
  10. oh YEAH! a pretty BIG one, the show DEFINITELY affects the movi

    ReplyDelete
  11. That was amazing!

I still cringe at Simmon's development, but am 'glad' that it was Bakshi who died. (Still worried about another possible death in the finale.)

Also cried out "Not the BUS!!!"

Loooved Skye's fight sequences. Amazingly choreographed and filmed.

The scene where they prepare for the mission and Ward gives his little speech was hilarious!

    So many good moments.

    ReplyDelete
  12. It'll happen. We just have to be patient.

    ReplyDelete
  13. DAMN IT GRANT WARD YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO COME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE GOOD, YOU ARE GOOD PERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jemma Simmons i do not like this side of you, not ONE bit!!!! Skye finally can control her powers, that's amazing!!!! WOW they were not kidding when they said that this time the SHOW will affect the movies. NO THE BUS WHY?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that was supposed to be a hologram or something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Still HAte Ward...

    ReplyDelete
  15. even AFTER he got Kara back to SHIELD to help her?

    ReplyDelete
  16. yeah i guess i'm not that patient LOL

    ReplyDelete
  17. So coulson made a deal to have his team work with real shield now I guessing

    ReplyDelete
  18. him sayin that he did not regret doing all the awful things specially after what he did to fitz
    yup still do...

    ReplyDelete
  19. he regrets breaking up their family, WHICH now no one can deny and make us fell bad when we call them family

    ReplyDelete
  20. Holy shit that was the most epic episode ever!! I don't even know where to begin! LOL I love that we finally got to see Raina's power, that sure is quite a gift! Ward confronting everyone on the plane was amazing and so great! Definitely feel like he truly regrets his actions and hopefully the team will come to forgive him. Hope that we get to see him sometime in the final episodes of Season 2.

Bakshi, I'm gonna miss him! He was such a great villain! Simmons, I hated you and loved you in this episode! I hated you for wanting to kill Ward but then I loved you because you were protecting your team!

Absolutely loved Skye in this episode, especially that epic fight scene with Hydra! That training helped harness her power and make it more controllable and it was awesome to see it in action! And then...she goes and shoots an entire team of Hydra agents...by herself! Dude, if she doesn't end up with Ward can she end up with Lincoln because I love those two together and I REALLY hope Lincoln pulls through and remains for the rest of the season and hopefully more seasons to come!

And holy cow, that whole...what?...5 minutes at the end tying the season in with Age of Ultron!! 100% EPIC!!!!

O my gosh, now I have to watch Age of Ultron...I will go by myself if I have to!! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  21. Speculation. Who needs Ward when you have May & Skye? Besides his brainwashing of Bashski, he was kind of pointless this episode.

    ReplyDelete
  22. HOLY SHIT, that was freaking awesome, epic, badass, incredible. This episode was seriously like watching a damn movie. The SFX were downright phenomenal when the team was getting shot at by HYDRA and it was glorious (though, I'll miss you The Bus! You were so good to the team and a lot of nice memories were made on that plane).

The team not forgiving Ward in the slightest gave me so much life. This was not the time nor the place and I'm glad that they still didn't forgive him for all the pain that he caused them and are just using him as a mercenary during the mission. Also loved everyone being so snarky at him and Skye's "I'm still happy I shot you" and everyone agreeing with her XD God I love you, Skye. And Fitz's all "We were a team and a family and you betrayed us" Yup, he really did. And I'm glad that he walked away from SHIELD after the mission. Probably the best decision he's made. Now go and be Rogue Ward!

Goodbye Bakshi! It was either you or Mike and I gotta say I'm glad that you're gone. And damn Simmons! She took a really dark turn tonight but it was understandable given she's still pissed as hell at Ward. Also Skye was such a BAMF all throughout this episode. Seeing her finally use her powers during the mission to take down the HYDRA agents and the team's reactions to it was so great. And her moves were so well done. Awesome job, Chloe! You made me proud.

I geeked out so hard when List mentioned the twins and when Raina said that men of metal will tear our cities apart! I'am so freaking ready/excited to see AOU on Saturday

    ReplyDelete
  23. he did't apologize to Jemma and Leo, what do we do with that?

    ReplyDelete
  24. "rogue"evil because he's not or "rogue" good?

    ReplyDelete
  25. but he needs to realize that it was wrong and i can understand jemma's reaction after what he did to fitz and skye ...
for me he's always the good one turned bad that i always like...

    ReplyDelete
  26. not bad, neutral right?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Excuse me ward has to stay gone and thankfully jemma didn't forget her promise.

    ReplyDelete
  28. no Ward BELONGS with them

    ReplyDelete
  29. good turned bad turned less bad...
    Still can't trust him...
and i fear what if it all has to with his obsession with skye...

    ReplyDelete
  30. i guess that's something at least and NOT obsession

    ReplyDelete
  31. He'll get there. He got a lot out in the scene that I'm happy with. Patience is key here and I'm willing to wait.

    ReplyDelete
  32. definately, occasional alliances are expected, but he should stay gone or give him a proper story to warrant a return.

    ReplyDelete
  33. LOL, I'm not either.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Anyone have a link where I can find this episode

    ReplyDelete
  35. LOVED Skye tonight. That fight scene was cool! I can't wait to rewatch it! Loved Coulson playing Shield 2.0. The tie in was awesome. Loved Fitz talking himself up to Jemma, nice tie in to 1.07. Unless she goes down some dark path he won't follow, I hope we see more science!FitzSimmons. I miss them being awesome in the lab.

Don't really want to waste words on Ward, but he's "apology" or regrets speech, whatever, moved me about as much as it did Coulson's team. So not at all. No redemption for Ward until he realizes that throwing FitzSimmons off the plane was evil. Honestly, now that Skye is totally awesome, who needs him?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Stephen S. Bowman29 April 2015 at 03:31

looks like Robert is the one who is gonna start this war between the inhumans

    ReplyDelete
  37. nice and he said "abuser"

    ReplyDelete
  38. Stephen S. Bowman29 April 2015 at 03:32

problem is they can't tell that coulson never wanted this war

    ReplyDelete
  39. Why would anyone want to stay with people that hate him/don't need him? Ward can ride off into the sunset now.

    ReplyDelete
  40. i think Skye will, she knows him the problem is the Inhumans won't believe her

    ReplyDelete
  41. erxcept they DO need him they just don't know it

    ReplyDelete
  42. Stephen S. Bowman29 April 2015 at 03:35

even if he is sending quinjets in to the inhuman area i don't think he will be going to hurt them

    ReplyDelete
  43. Coulson's her loyalty

    ReplyDelete
  44. How do they POSSIBLY need him? There are so many better specialist out there, including Skye who kicked ass tonight!

    ReplyDelete
  45. no and now that i think about but maybe it's INSANE but maybe Coulson is going to rescue them

    ReplyDelete
  46. on enemies, and he knows their enemies

    ReplyDelete
  47. Stephen S. Bowman29 April 2015 at 03:37

actually that is not a bad thought i actually agree with that

    ReplyDelete
  48. Give me reasons as to WHY they exactly need him when the team obviously has more manpower elsewhere?! Other than him having Bakshi as the man inside the HYDRA base, he served no purpose. Now that Bakshi is dead, there's no use for Ward anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  49. can anyone else infiltrate the enemy and do it CONVINCINGLY?

    ReplyDelete
  50. That worked for this one mission, but hydra is old news, bigger and better problems are about to arise.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Ummmm YES! Are you freaking kidding me right now?! Bobbi and Jemma obviously did it but you obviously don't remember that.

    ReplyDelete
  52. well then they ALL the manpower they need

    ReplyDelete
  53. Um, Bobbi? I bet Kara could once her brain is back on straight and she stops making doe eyes for Ward. Heck, even Jemma did it.

    ReplyDelete
  54. but they're burned now

    ReplyDelete
  55. They're burned? Oh give me a freaking break. I've had it up to here with you Stand with Ward fans doing every possible thing to convince everyone that he should be back on the team permanently now when it's obviously not working. I'm done with this conversation.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Doesn't mean they need to work with a known traitor. They don't need him. Tonight was proof of that for me. May flies, Skye is bad ass. Even FitzSimmons can handle themselves in the field. Then there is Bobbi, Hunter, Mack, and I bet this inhuman thing gets sorted and what a cool alliance that could be!

    ReplyDelete
  57. I bet Keonig could successfully infiltrate hydra at this point!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I'm asking this question here rather than on Twitter because I don't want to spoil anyone on the West Coast. Did anyone think that the facility that they mentioned they were taking Deathlok to might be the same facility that worked on Ultron?

    ReplyDelete
  59. yeh, it's one thing if they give him a proper story in that direction, but he's been sidelined this back half of episodes anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  60. which one Sam or Bily or one of the other ones? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  61. Any Keonig will do! I trust them more than he who shall not be named.

    ReplyDelete
  62. well at first i thought the facility the Original 6 went WAS the one in Ultron but after they destroyed not anymore, but yeah i think it was pretty clear that the facility they were taking Mike was the one in Ultron

    ReplyDelete
  63. Yes! He's made so much progress I'm pleased with although I don't like that he left out that Garrett was abusive too. That's a pretty important part of his life and he needs to talk about it.

    ReplyDelete
  64. AWESOME!!!!! am i crazy or did List say that the Twins survived alien enhancement put INTO them, as in they weren't born with their powers?

    ReplyDelete
  65. The writers seemingly were giving Ward a do his own missions storyline but that only lasted about one episode. And then next thing you know, he's working with Coulson and the team when Coulson obviously doesn't need him anymore after tonight. And the team really didn't like working with him and are still pissed as hell at him. They just need to stop with Ward working with Coulson and team from here on out. This episode proved that there's no use for him anymore when you have Mockingbird (before she leaves) and freaking Daisy Johnson/Quake.

    ReplyDelete
  66. HA! Good one XD

    ReplyDelete
  67. SHIELD and The Flash knocked it out of the park tonight!! Too much awesomeness to handle in one night.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Skye using her powers.......I don't think it her true Quake powers yet......

    ReplyDelete
  69. Historical_Materialist29 April 2015 at 04:08

Fantastic episode and great tie in to lead up to Avengers 2. I'm happy to see that Mike survived although I was expecting a little more emotional impact from Simmons' attempt to try to kill Ward. One minor gripe I have is how Ward managed to get off the base on his own. No big deal, just seemed a little convenient.

    ReplyDelete
  70. A great episode, would've been perfect if they didn't ruin Simmons even more. I loved what Ward did at the end and his little speech to Coulson.

Really hoping this AOU tie-in can be understood without seeing the movie first cos I'm not interested in the movie enough to go and see it, unless someone invites me to it, I won't be seeing it for a while.

    ReplyDelete
  71. yeh, I was expecting the worse here with SHiELD in regards to ward. Flash is usually only bad with crossovers though.

    ReplyDelete
  72. So long as it wasn't a permanant thing with him on the team I was ok where they went with Ward. But I don't see where he belongs in the rest of the season now, as it would be so random, even though he was listed in furtutre press releases. Id expect the occasional alliance between the two just because of a certain unamed fandom. But he was still really disconnected to everything in second half. Unless they write him out, they should find a story for him though, as I would not have noticed him in this part of the season, if he wasn't there.

Id agree, the show could do without him though.

    ReplyDelete
  73. "should've aim for the face" BEST. COMMENT. EVER!
I love how it was now Jemma's turn to seek revenge Ward had no right to tell ehr that, he really expects everyone to be happy?. Good thing he knows when to leave.
YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS WITH THAT ENDING. Now go Ultron Go.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I am expecting a formal apology from everyone who was saying that the writers were awful for trying to ignore the consequences of what Ward did to hand-wave him back onto the team. You know who you are.

Destroying the Bus was symbolic as hell. They will never, ever be THAT team again. That part of their history is gone. Like Ward I am sad we will never see those times again(Holotable...On!) but this is a different show and they're different people now. Love it.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Nice action episode.

Good guy Ward was awesome to make that speech and to leave Kara behind. Bad girl Simmons was not cool, she showed signs of bigotry before and it came back again. Someone should know this, but at least the viewers do.

There was good action by Skye, there should of also been some by Ward. And Skye taking all those people out on her own was awesome and showed skills. But if ever in the future she is the same situation and surrenders I will be forced to site this incident and say BS writing.

Skye should just call Gordan for a quick port. Cuz we all know Gonzalez is one hell of a shady dude.

Raina would make a good advisor at the Afterlife, but with her personality not a good leader, not yet. If she really wanted to she can in the future, I'm willing to give her a chance, but currently her attitude is not Right.

Liked the every thing is connected End the tie-ins. Time for the Avengers! Shit is about to go down this Thursday! and the following 2 weeks.

    ReplyDelete
  76. not interested! what? if your in LA you can come with me. lol

    ReplyDelete
  77. Probably Gonzalez will plant a bug on Coulson to track the location to Afterlife. But if Coulson comes with more then 1 quintet and more then Fitz it will be bad.

    ReplyDelete
  78. He knows he was wrong, and its Good to Bad to Neutral, Possibly always Neutral. Neutral is a pretty standard standing in the Comic world where many heroes work with Neutral characters.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Ward should have his own plot, the guy is Pure Skills full of potential to be make a difference in the world for good or neutral.
If he should go then so should Mack, no use for him too he served his propose.

    ReplyDelete
  80. btw where was Lola! and Why doesn't Coulson have a Remote Control Device attached to it, actually I thought he did, He should of summoned the car after his escape.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Yes Ward should have his own plot OUTSIDE of Coulson and the team (this is why I need Rogue Ward like now). He serves no purpose to the team anymore when there's more powerful agents elsewhere. And poor Mack. The guy hasn't fixed something in I don't know how long but I'm sure once this SHIELD vs. OlmostSHIELD vs. Inhumans conflict is over then he'll go right back to doing what he does best. But I agree, if the writers can't find anymore substance to give him, then he's gotta go.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Really? The only Flash episode that had crossovers from Arrow that I hated is the one when Felicity and Ray came to Central City. Other than that, they've been pretty great/entertaining so far.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Its a shame the writers don't take the chance and rune a side plot. that runs alongside the main. This season has been more Serial so it possible as that is where it fluoresces the most.

    ReplyDelete
  84. They just seem random and thrown into flash episodes for not a good enough reason to me, but that's just me. I only hated the first one as well, but the rest seemed completely random, even if I didn't mind them. They don't really seem to the affect the arrow. The other thing is they are somewhat ruined by scheduling with arrow. bad was probably to loose wording.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Ward definitely does not belong with them he needs to go to the spinoff or die a 'heroic death' and I'm glad jemma and everyone else hasn't forgiven it and hopefully never forgives him.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Yeah I prefer anti hero ward and hope skyeward never becomes cannon or I'm done with this show. I actually don't mind him I could even root for him if he went to the spinoff but I want him away from team shield.

    ReplyDelete
  87. How in the world is simmons a bigot? Haven't watched the episode yet but how can she be a bigot or are you just a skyeward shipper who desperately wants ward to go back to team shield by calling people names.

    ReplyDelete
  88. If you look at all my comments you will know for one I'm not a shipper! Lets get that out of the way. You will also find many comments where I say Ward doesn't need to be on the team he can be doing his own thing elsewhere.

Now about Simmons, I did say she showed signs of it before against people with power against her own friend Skye and Fitz, not int he fullest terms but lets say 45% of the meaning of the word. And today she thought it would for the good to kill Ward. And I'm not saying I hate her, I don't like that side of her, and makes me care less about her. Good thing I cared for her in S1 that there is still some Care left for me to even voice a opinion on her.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Great episode. I loved the team's reactions to Ward, especially Skye's "I'm still glad I shot you." LOL. Skye using her powers and her fight scene were awesome. I think the team has a new specialist. Jiaying probably should have listened to her daughter about Raina. That decision might end up costing her. Ward telling Simmons he's disappointed in her made me roll my eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  90. She actually did become a killer.

    ReplyDelete
  91. It was beyond that awesome, Skye, COulson and May and Skye and the promo for the next ep looks so terifying especially for Skye.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Is ward in next weeks ep??

    ReplyDelete
  93. no, but he will be in the finale :)

    ReplyDelete
  94. I voted 'Hell yesssssssssssss' its my own rating system!

Team 'We hate you Ward just get the hint' -

I love how they shut him down. Everyone looked disgusted at him. And his whole the biggest regret is not being in the team anymore, not sorry for almost killing 2 of your team members then?

To quote Guardians of the Galaxy 'Well, I don't know if I believe anyone is 100% a dick' with Ward I do.

I'm kind of worried he has left Kara as a sleeper agent, I hope not but I can't trust him at all.

Simmons is the greatest. And the FitzSimmons scene awwww, they are back and life is good.

    Meanwhile in Inhumans land

Got to love Raina and her need for power. Seeing how Ruth Negga has a main role in Preacher I wonder if Raina might die in the finale, I hope not I would like to see her again in S3.

    I still love Cal.

    Age of Ultron tie-in mentions

I've been speculating for months that the main tie-in would be AOS finding Strucker's base and telling the Avengers. I feel smug now. Nice mention of the Twins, good to see Dr List, Raina seeing metal men!, Yay Hill <3. Guess that what happens with Hill and Fury in AOU is part of what Coulson is working on.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Yes! Everyone has overacted quite a bit these past few weeks in various AOS posts, no way was Ward rejoining the team like nothing had happened.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I would like if if the facility was Dr Cho's South Korean place or Stark Industries.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I thought you had seen the movie? Because its very clear they weren't born with powers but were enhanced by Loki’s scepter.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Yeah your right, which leads them to be inhumans? Kree DNA! I was geeking out!

    ReplyDelete
  99. Lol thanks but I'm in Ireland, a bit too far away! I haven't been interested in a movie enough to see it in the cinema since Avatar. I've been to the cinema since then but only cos people asked me to go :P

    ReplyDelete
  100. I'm never going to stop hating him.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Was Maria Hill talking to a ghost? I mean, Coulson is dead so i'm really confused...

    ReplyDelete
  102. oh my bad i didn't realize that, yeah i DID see the movie, but i don't remember them saying that weren't born with their powers. If like you said they were enhanced then why did she mind-warp Stark showing his friends dead and then let him take the Scepter if it enhances their abilities? when i heard Twins in the episode i teared up a little, knowing Pietro's fate

    ReplyDelete
  103. not a everyday thing buy yea, in certain arcs and event series and crossovers.

    ReplyDelete
  104. are you joking? or are you not a SHIELD watcher?

    ReplyDelete
  105. wait you don't mean the Hellicarriers?

    ReplyDelete
  106. Stephen S. Bowman29 April 2015 at 09:17

if he knew he would know maria hill was on a couple episodes of season 1

    ReplyDelete
  107. Awesome episode, we have a lot of questions that need to be answered, but the most important to me is what the hell is Gonzales going to do with Skye, Lincoln and everybody else who have powers? And also interesting to see that they are integrating Ultron already. I watched it yesterday so i'm completely ready for the fallout that we saw in the movie.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I was trying to be vague but yes the Hellicarrier at the end makes me hope that the team with Fury and Hill will be part of the united SHIELD at the end of this season.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Wanda let Tony take the scepter because she knew it would make him do something drastic (like creating Ultron) and that would tear him (and the team) apart. Which is what the Twins wanted at the time.

The Twins don't need the scepter (well technically its the infinity gem within the scepter) to keep their abilities. They have them now.

    ReplyDelete
  110. RIP Bus, we'll miss you...

I was watching this episode live and it started at 3am here and I have to put my hands on my mouth several times to keep me from screaming and waking up everyone because it was so awesome. Seriously, I thought it was going to be meh because I really don't like Ward, and I thought the writters were going to put him back on the team and they were going to mess up, but I'm glad they proved me wrong. They almost made me feel bad for him. Almost.

And can we talk about Skye kicking ass? That was amazing! And Chloe did it in one take! That makes it even better. It was really cool how she used her powers and then she become a mini May and took all those Hydra agents out. My mouth was on the floor. It was an amazing shot.

I knew this tied with the Avengers (which I'm watching tomorrow), but how they did it was very wow, Raina predicting it, I wasn't expecting that.

When Ward gave that speech on the plane, I don't know why, but he made me laugh. He sounded a little desperate. Then silence, and Skye: "I'm glad I shot you". That's my girl! lol

It was an amazing episode, and at the end it got me thinking one thing, I hate that Gonzales dude more every week. What does he really want? I thought he hated powered people, after all, he calls them, and I qoute: thing, monter, abomination,... And now he wants to use Skye and Lincoln to get to the rest of the Inhumans? What does he wants fron them? Kill them? Use them? I don't get it... Everything is going to blow up in his face, that I'm sure of.

    ReplyDelete
  111. ...oh, don't mind me, just trying to be funny because i'm still bitter about Joss' comments

    ReplyDelete
  112. Skye/quake fight scenes was the best part of the episode. So well done. One take! Kuddos for everyone involved. I loved bad ass Simmons and how the team didn't buy any of Ward's shit. Seriously, he is disapointed with Simmons? he needs to get out of his high horse. After everything he done not even an apology and he wants to act superior. The only character worst than him on the episode was Gonzales. I hate Gonzales. Full of false morality. Loved Coulson spoiling him about Fury. He had no idea he was alive. Take that. I hope Maria and Fury put him on his place and order on the house. I'm really rooting for Kara. She doesn't deserves to be stuck with Ward so i just hope it's not another of Ward's schemes and she finds her peace with nice people. Maybe would be the only good thing Ward did in a long time. Since i watched Age of Ultron days ago the tie in was a bit predictable but sitll nice.

    ReplyDelete
  113. I'm glad they didn't took that route. You are right, seeing the bus being destroyed hurt a little bit but it was symbolic. They are not going back. They need to bring them together again to show that to the audience. Time to move on. That was the best part of the episode for me. Well, aside Skye fight scene. It was amazing.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I hate that scene. It was rushed and not handled well. Ward speech to her was cringe worthy. I think the fact pretty much everybody spoiled this scene to us didn't help. We know it was coming since the art was revealed and disapointed. Ward is a super spy but that didn't make any sense. He was alone in the middle of the artic.

  115. and that's not even all the problems inhumans have right now. Raina is going to rebel and try to take over making people turn on Jiaying. This won't end well.

    ReplyDelete
  116. One good thing doesn't erase the bad. We didn't hear any apology not that it would have worked but still. Not even going to mention his speech to Simmons when she attacked him. Disappointed, really? how disapointed was the team with him? He doesn't belong with the team anymore and i'm just glad he got that. Now i just hope he really isn't using Kara somehow. She deserves better.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I still can't believe people hope for Skye end up with Ward. He is better off alone and Skye deserves better, Someone nice like Lincoln. He still think she should thank him for kidnapping her and taking her to San Juan where her friend died and her life changed forever. WTH!? Now a bunch of people will hunt her forever thanks to her powers she didn't want. Yeah, he deserves a strong quake on the head.

  118. No more than ever i'm curious about how his storyline will turn out. The producers said he plays a big part until the season finale and i just don't know how. His only connection now is Kara. Unless they bring his family back or they make him an inhuman i don't know how big of part he can have. Oh, after Skye/quake scenes on this episode nobody can dare to say they need Ward because he is a super spy. Skye can take hydra alone and there still others that you mentioned. This is classic Ward's fans playing his character up more than he is.

    ReplyDelete
  119. The big problem with his character is that the actor is a main star on the show but his character works better as rougue/guest star type. This probably forces his participation into storylines that not always will make sense.

  120. Done watching this week's episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., a day after watching Age of Ultron.

    OMG! THEY'RE ALL CONNECTED!!!

    ReplyDelete
  121. I saw Age of Ultron last night and it was amazing.... just watched this episode and it was amazing seeing the connections with the movie was awesome. Loved seeing the old team together even though i don't like ward but it was still good to have the old team back as a whole. I loved skyes scene when she used her powers that was awesome as well as the end scene with Raina which was AMAZING. Cant wait for the next episode now :D

    ReplyDelete
  122. Kinda wished I watched this before Age of Ultron but it was already out in theaters on my turf for a week now that I couldn't resist. :D

    Super duper awesome regardless.

    ReplyDelete
  123. hate insulting ESPECIALLY Joss Whedon but what a D-Bag!!!

    ReplyDelete
  124. but didn't he say to (UGH!!!!!!) Kara that that made him a killer?

    ReplyDelete
  125. Was there an end credits scene? My video cut off again.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Till when did it record?

    ReplyDelete
  127. The "end credits scene", if you can call it that, was merely a small part of a major scene from Age of Ultron, no big loss on your part.

    ReplyDelete
  128. ah okay and that line by Wanda to Steve about where Ultron got his meglomania from was messed up, but it still surprised me that the Twins were never powered

    ReplyDelete
  129. When did Skye become the freakin terminator?!

    ReplyDelete
  130. Totally agree re Gonzalez and Ward. I couldn't believe the gall of Ward to give Simmons that speech. Ugh. He needs to go back to being an independent contractor elsewhere, and I cannot wait to see Gonzalez put in his place!

    ReplyDelete
  131. I actually rewound and watched that scene you just quoted twice. That was seriously one of the best scenes this season. SO good.

    ReplyDelete
  132. The Skye fight scene and the scene about shooting Ward. She was on point this episode.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I kind of feel like Jemma could have succeeded if Bakshi hadn't interfered. I mean, all she had to do was get the splinter bomb on him.

    ReplyDelete
  134. I'm not loving Skye and Lincoln, so I'm happy to see she's awesome without any romance.

As for FitzSimmons, that was definitely a cute scene. It actually made me a little sad to see Fitz trying to impress her again. Jemma needs to show a little interest, or he needs to work on getting over her. He was almostttt doing better earlier this season with his snaps at her. I don't want him to revert to the lovesick puppy :(

    ReplyDelete
  135. The team shutting Ward down was THE BEST. That was the scene I never knew I wanted.

Happy to see Fitz and Simmons talking again, though kind of upset that Fitz is reverting right back to feeling the need to show off and impress her. It was cute, but just kind of sad.

    ReplyDelete
  136. I don't want lovesick puppy Fitz either. I was hoping he was getting over her.

    ReplyDelete
  137. I thought that they were going to push Ward back into the team with time, because the writers of some shows have fallen into the "fanservice" thing very easy, but I'm glad they didn't and that they proved me wrong. I love how they have handle Ward and his decisions in this episode. The writers of this show have my respect.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Yup but I don't think he truly realizes how Garrett made that happen. It might take him a while to get there but he's slowly making his way there. It's progress that I'm really happy with!

    ReplyDelete
  139. Yea, I almost kind of was too. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge FitzSimmons shipper, but I hate one-sided attraction. I kind of want Fitz to get over her just in time for Simmons to realize what she's losing.

    ReplyDelete
  140. He can take his redemption elsewhere. Nobody needs to put up with his jokes or give him forgiveness. Gonzales is going crazy after enhanced people just because of fear i hope they set him straight next episode.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Ward's fans disagree. Shocking! Most people loved the episode so it's all good.

    ReplyDelete
  142. They don't have the guts to get ride of one any of the main characters yet so Bakshi was the scapegoat.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Hopefully is not too late.

    ReplyDelete
  144. He may be listed on imdb but that doesnt mean anything. He was listed on it for episode 17 too. Are you sure hes on? I hope he is lol

    ReplyDelete
  145. Check back in a couple of days if you ar watching it online. Last week's episode had the final scene added a couple of days afterwards

    ReplyDelete
  146. - Simmons has hardened quite a lot this season. I sense a major meltdown before the season finale.
    - Ward got shut down. In the most glorious way possible.
    - Goodbye Bus, you'll be missed. I guess this pretty much cements that there is no "Old Team" to go back to.
    - That Sonic jab was hilarious.
    - One-take fight sequence was pretty impressive; Skye has come a really long way.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Yes she deserves better.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Yea, agreed. I mean, I'd hate to see any of the main ones go, but I think we all know who should be first in line.

    ReplyDelete
  149. I think/hope they will. Unless this is a super long game playing in to CA3.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Awesome episode!! Loved the Ward/Coulson phone calk at the end!! Simmons taking a crack at taking out Ward was cute!!

    ReplyDelete
  151. I'm still in denial over the fact that the major character death in this episode was the Bus. Sniff. Those bastards! They'd better not touch Lola any time soon.

    ReplyDelete
  152. I enjoyed it! I'm gladd the show is treadted Ward the way it should be. Without the Team forgiving him or making excuses for him. He did terrible things, he's a terrible person. They have every right to be angry at him.

    ReplyDelete
  153. That makes more sense than the teasing being Bacshi.

    ReplyDelete
  154. They basically let us believe it would be Mike because really, Bakshi was never on Coulson's team. This is why we shouldn't trust those spoilers too much. They always play up everything.

    ReplyDelete
  155. "Be careful jemma"
that line got me sooo much <3

    ReplyDelete
  156. you think there's still time?

    ReplyDelete
  157. but why, Ultron had nothing to do with Strucker

    ReplyDelete
  158. i thought Skye was calling Raina Gollum, until i realized she meant Sonic LOL

    ReplyDelete
  159. I love how Bobbi had to hold back a laugh when Coulson spoiled Fury being alive to Gonzales showing how clueless and ridiculous he has been.

    ReplyDelete
  160. First - Skye's fight scene was AWESOME. If her powers weren't so cool, I'd almost wish she didn't have them so we could have more of this.

Second - The scene with Ward on the Bus was hilarious. Team Coulson gives no craps, dude.

Third - While I still put Ward firmly in the evil category (by a lot), he did something that was actually nice and potentially selfless in returning Kara to SHIELD. Or he put someone loyal to him on the inside for some reason we don't know yet. That's a possibility. However, if it was the former, this would be the first time I can really see him taking a potential step towards redemption. Everything else he's ever done was to get people to forgive him, and not the people he really should have been working on. His condescension towards Simmons made me want to punch him a little, because someone might want to be worried about how she's changing, but not him. Still, if he did do this just for Kara, then it's the first time he's done a good thing without looking for reward, acceptance or praise. This is the first time I've seen redeeming him as a viable option since the season started.

Fourth - I don't trust Gonzalez as far as I can throw him. We're jettisoning him soon, yes?

Fifth - I also don't trust Reina as far as ... well, I could throw her a lot farther than I could Gonzalez, so that's not a fair comparison, but the point is, she's going to be a problem.

Sixth - I'm really curious how the film is going to play into the end of the season. I'm looking forward to it.

    ReplyDelete
  161. He's kinda less bad not neutral a character hero's need

help from when there's no other way but can never trust...
But he did earn some good points in my book for leaving jemma otherwise iwould have been all in for dead ward....

    ReplyDelete
  162. I just rewatched. Bobbi was always pro Coulson so not surprising.

I agree with you in regard to the fight scene of sky. That was ooutstanding filming work and made it even a better fight scene
