    May sweeps period is the final stretch of the US television season where most shows air the last batch of episodes of their respective seasons and they're usually eventful and must-watch TV. :)

    Well, they just officially hung a target on Juliette's back. And from the promo it looks like she causes Nick to shoot Monroe next week. Grimm is one of my 5 favorite shows but it is also the one that causes me the most distress in its choices of storylines to portray.I get indigestion every May.

    I'm not happy about Juliette burning down the trailer, but I understand it. I can't help but to look at the bigger picture from her point of view. Adalind attacked Juliette and she lost her memory and a significant part of her life for many months. Juliette finally gets her life back only to have Adalind attack once again, causing Nick to lose his powers. Only this time through a series of events due to Adalind's second strike, Juliette becomes a Hexenbeist. Juliette was right about what she said to Rosalie in prison. Juliette made a sacrifice to get Nick back his powers. When it comes down to it, Nick couldn't make the same sacrifice for her because he chose his powers over having a normal life with Juliette. Given all those factors, that still wasn't what drove Juliette over the edge. First she finds out Adalind is pregnant with Nick's child. Then, Juliette sees Adalind being protectively surrounded by Nick, Hank, Renard, and even Wu in the police station. Juliette has finally gotten to the point where she just snapped. It's like she told Nick, her life is a hell. Juliette's life has been burned to the ground so she returned the favor to Nick by burning down the trailer.

    Judging by the previews, I don't like Juliette using her powers against Rosalie. Rosalie in the only one of the gang who was actively trying to find a Hexenbeist cure. Nick's solution was to lock up Juliette until he could get around to her between his police work and now taking care of Adalind. Speaking of Adalind, I am so tired of her committing horrible acts then coming back around all wide eyed and helpless looking begging for help from the very people who she has harmed on more than one occasion. Nick is coming off as one probably one of the most cluesess Grimms in history.

    Well at this point their not trying to make Juliette sympathetic if that were it they wouldn't have her burn the trailer. You can look at this evil turn like the humanity switch thing from the vampire diaries Juliette's actions kind of resemble that but with a slow burn

    Ooh damn, Juliette destroyed the last of Aunt May, it's really getting intense makes me miss the bland version of her, wow I'd say the season finale is going to be wild!!!!!

    Agreed. I wouldn't be shocked if they are go there. And I kind of hope they do to be honest. This whole season has really pushed their relationship to a complete breaking point. I can't see it ever going back to normal or even loving after all these issues. Plus I feel like any chemistry the two actors had has really just been gone the last two seasons. Time for Juliette to go. Be it dead or just maybe off to another life free of grimm's and their lifestyle of danger.

    I think the reason why Juliette burned down the trailer is because she still has humanity in her. She is in so much pain right now and she is masking it by claiming to revel in her new found powers. What else can she do? Let that pain destroy her or try to trick herself into enjoying her new life as a means to cope with everything she's lost. Juliette lashing out and setting that fire was an impulsive action based on emotion. If it was simply an act of evil, then she wouldn't have called Nick to let him know what she did. Juliette wanted Nick to know it was her because it would hurt him. Also, if she were simply evil, then Juliette wouldn't be as affected by Adalind's pregnancy as she has been. The problem now is Juliette feels she's lost everything. With nothing left to lose, then why fight the darkness. If she thinks embracing the Hexenbeist will take away all the pain, then she will do it. Especially with a Royal whispering in her ear while claiming to befriend her.

    I'm so glad this redonkulous storyline is finally getting somewhere. As a bonus, after multiple seasons, Grimm is finally beginning to establish an interesting dynamic between the group and Adalind too.

    Things are finally turning around for the better on Grimm this season since they took a nose dive after the Wesenrein story concluded.

    Things I'm liking right now:
    - Evil Juliette finally stops her incessant whining and starts taking action. (RIP trailer)
    - There's a Royal in town who may actually pose a decent threat.
    - Nick is going through the ringer and it's interesting to see how he's handling it.
    - Rosalee is stepping up her "she's saying what we're all thinking" comments.
    - Adalind may finally have an interesting place within the group. She's the one that no one wants around but can't get rid of (thanks, HexenGrimm) and even have to work with her too. It makes everything hilariously awkward. Keep it up, Grimm.

    Things that still need improvement:
    - Grimm is still too reliant on the stiff (and often dull) procedural element. This deep into the series they should be more flexible.
    - Renard is still a glorified liaison and not much more. In spite of his popularity, he's not very useful or even that important. I wish things were different. I always liked him.
    - Wu and Hank will never get a lot of important screen time but I wish Grimm would use what little time they get more creatively.

    This episode has convinced me that Juliette won't be the one to die. There is too much story to tap into with trying to save and redeem her. I also think no harm with come to any of the other characters by Juliette's doing because then that would really be the point of no return for this character.

    Yep. And another thing. They should really do more Wesen recycling. It doesn't have to be a totally new kind of Wesen every week. Some of these creatures were awesome and I wouldn't mind seeing them again.

    I'm 50/50 on what will happen. Heard rumors both ways. It would just be so hard to bring her back after all she is doing and is going to do in the final episodes. If she regains her real self, how will she live with what she has done while under the Hexenbiest influence and if she stays on as a villain it will be hard for viewers to take. They have taken it further than I thought they would - in the beginning it was kind of nice to think she could use her powers to help the team but then it went way beyond that.

She burned down a trailer I loved that trailer but still come on i mean willow can skin someone alive nearly kill her friends and nearly destroy the world and be accepted back by her friends and Juliette can't get past burning a trailer down and causing some trouble and reading some of these comments it seems to me that it was apparently better for Juliette to stay being nicks girlfriend with powers instead of giving the character some freaking depth which I thought that's what everyone problem.

    Claire Coffee just had an interview prior to the start of her pregnancy storyline. She said that her current story will be carried over to next season when her character gives birth.

    I was a huge Buffy T V S fan too. Loved that groundbreaking series. As for Juliette, I think there is much worse to come. The trailer just hit a chord with people because it represented so much about the show.

    There is a theory out there that the baby Adalind is carrying is actually Nick and Juliette's - having gotten switched into Adalind's body during all the hocus pocus with the spells. If that turned out to be true, and not just a fan's interesting flight of fancy, it could be a road back for Juliette in several ways.

    Well crap. No offense to Claire Coffee who I'm sure is a lovely lady and talented actor, but I cannot stand Adalind. She is the Malcolm Merlyn of this show. A character who creates chaos and destruction wherever she goes, will never really change for the better, yet gets away with it. Now she has Nick looking out for and protecting her. This is crazy.

    I also believe Adalind is a surrogate of sorts for Nick and Juliette's son. The trick is Nick and Juliette finding out the truth and curing her before Juliette does something that causes irrevocable harm. Even if the baby is only Nick's, I'm thinking Adalind will hold his son for ransom in exchange for Diana.

    I have a love/hate relationship with this episode. I loved Nick's reaction to A being pregnant with is baby. That was very comical and yet realistc too. Way to go David.
    I hate Juliette burning down Aunt Marie's trailer. How many hours did it take to create all those books? then in 10 seconds they are burned to ash? So not right. Plus it was like the secret/not so secret meeting room, where everything came together. Now he virtually has to start all over again from scratch. Too me that was a major step backwards.
    In the end Juliette needs to die.

    As for the previews, I'm worried that Nick is going to end up shooting himself. After all he said Juliette was controlling it. Preceded by the new Royal pain in the a** saying "Momma dearest won't come unless Nick is in mortal danger" (or something close) to Juliette in this episode. And your lest with NO GOOD CAN COME FROM THIS. which freaks me out.

    Also I'm so not looking forward to loosing 2 people, it makes me really worried about the season finale. I mean I can lose one as long as it's someone I've never really cared for anyway. But 2? No way.
    Then again I've never liked season finales because too many people die on too many shows. Case in point, this is only 1 of possibly 3 of my shows that are killing/loosing major players this season. (And though I don't watch it anymore I know they just killed of McDreamy on Greys). Yup not a good time for any show.

    Wow. I can't believe the Grimm-mobile is toast. Suddenly I have this urge to back up my laptop... I always thought it was risky to keep all of those precious books lying around in a van without some form of backup. It would be easy to hate Juliette for what she did, but Henrietta did warn Nick to stay away from Juliette and Adalind made the comment about things probably getting much worse, so it I'm guessing that Juliette's behavior is part of the "natural" transition. This season has really given us more personal drama than any other season, but I'm not complaining. I actually think it has made the series more interesting and has definitely made certain characters like Juliette and Adalind more interesting. The Wesen of the week case was ok, but having the killer turn out to be the daughter was somewhat predictable (and sad in the end).


    If I were Juliette, I would would be very wary about any Wesen cure with possible "side effects", especially one that hasn't been well tested. I'm glad that the writers finally addressed the fact that had they not conspired to take Adalind's baby away, she would never have taken away Nick's powers. It was good that at least someone (Rosalee) acknowledged the fact that they played a major role in what happened to Nick and ultimately to Juliette. Even if they thought that her baby would be better off with Nick's mom, it really wasn't their place to decide this. The scene with Adalind and Nick in the police station was also very well done. In the end, it was hard to tell whether Adalind was just trying to manipulate NIck or if she was just being somewhat sincere. Great acting from Claire, David and Bitsie, in this episode. I can't wait for next week.

    I agree. I know that no one died, but watching her torch the trailer felt almost as bad, mainly because the trailer has played such a strong role in the show from the beginning.

    The only path I can see back to a big Grimm family hug for her is if the baby really is hers , put reversely in Adalind's womb due to the spell. Or they can take her full fledged baddie pal for Kenneth for next year. Or the third possibility of Portland losing a fine veterinarian permanently.

    Okay, I could deal with Juliette acting out because she's changing and angry (and blames) at people a part of her feels she shouldn't be angry with or blame. But burning the trailer made me actively dislike her. I mean really, if the showrunners wanted to turn me against the character they did.

    Add to that the transparent manipulations of the new Royal. My problem with that is that Juliette is much smarter. If she doesn't turn the table on that guy I will be pissed at the showrunners and not just Juliette.

    Past that I'm.....well heck after the book burning scene I don't remember much about the rest of the ep.

    Yeah, I agree I'm not fond of the idea of Monroe being shot either, but the scenario is intriguing. A perfect set-up if you stop and think about it, Juliette causing Nick to shoot Monroe as it causes a lot angst. Again, not that I like the idea that Monroe gets shot, as Monroe is the character that I really identify with the most. Now of course, Monroe won't die as he's pretty much everyone's favorite character and the EPs specifically stated he will be fighting for his life, implying that he won't die.

    Exactly, my thoughts on why she won't die. A show needs a good villain, and Grimm has really been lacking in that department lately. Though, I'm certainly not opposed to them killing Adalind. She's had it a long time coming!

    I seriously doubt he would end up shooting himself, I personally think he will be the one who ends up shooting Monroe, at the hands of Juliette of course. But it would be interesting if Nick were actually in some sort of mortal danger by the end of the season finale.

    Exactly. EP speak - read between the lines. At this point the only way back to team Grimm for Juliette is if that baby Adalind is housing is really Nick and Juliette's little trouble maker, misplaced during the opposing spells and the child is somehow the key to restoring the old Juliette. Or Juliette becomes Kenneth's go-to enforcer next year as a full on baddie. Or we say goodnight and goodbye to the little gourmet cook/vet . If she has any part in ,say, Mama Grimm's death or such then I think she will pretty much be toast.

    So we're supposed to believe that Nick was stupid enough to leave the trailer in the same place, knowing Juliet had access to it? While I was excited about Juliet's transformation in the beginning, I'm over it now. Maybe it's the acting or the writing but something just seems off about the whole thing. Add in the loss of Alexis Denisoff and my interest in all things Royal is severely diminished. I hope the end of the season improves. Between the major, out of character frak up and uninteresting killer of the week, I was not impressed with this episode.

    She could just never got back together with nick when first broke up. She could walk away be she didn't. She pushed away one away. Nick is protecting his child. He had a right to protect his child .
