  1. Very creepy ending. Probably one of the creepiest episodes they have done. Makes me wonder just how much crazier Norman and this show can get.

  2. Another supremely fantastic episode! I can't wait for last three episodes! (And what is taking A & E so long to renew it!?!)

  3. There was a moment when I felt like I was watching Days of Our Lives, but then Norman tried to kill James and Norma despite all the information she knows about her kid just hugged him and told him there, there, so this turned again into Bates Motel, and the ending confirmed even more, Norma was unconscious not just asleep... how could she not feel that "caress"... so who will die to try to save Emma, Dylan or Caleb??, probably Caleb, right??, ah I don't know, I still like the show but I feel like it's losing its mojo...

  4. Mmhm. I seriously thought something was going to happen at that dinner-I love how this show doesn't always do what I would expect of it. But that quiet ending was even more chilling than anything I could imagine happening at the dinner.
And yet despite all the creepiness, some laugh-out-loud moments, too-I LOVED Norman's snarky "walking in a masculine way" line to Norma, that flat out cracked me up. As did this exchange between Norma and Romero:
"What kind of name is Gunner?"
    "A stupid one."
(No disrespect to anyone who is named Gunner, by the way. Just liked the way Romero said that line :p. I love Norma and Romero together.)
Also, awwwww at Dylan wanting to help Emma's father pay for that transplant. I'm rooting for him to figure something out, but at the same time, I can't help but fear that something bad will happen as he tries to do so.
This season is so good. I can't even begin to imagine how it'll wind things down with the remaining episodes.

  5. I was just wondering the same thing about its renewal tonight, too. Seriously hoping we'll hear good news on that front very soon, yeah.

I saw this dinner scene as the calm before the storm. I couldn't shake the feeling that this would be the last time these characters would be together in harmony like this again.

  7. Oh, definitely. I feel that way, too. Sh*t's about to go down. Big time.

  9. I think Caleb and James are gonners....
And I think the season might end with Dylan taking Emma to get the transplant...
Oh and then there's however Bradley is going to fit in! Yikes!

  10. Yeah maybe not, it's just that the last 2 seasons I was all tense waiting to see what was coming, now, everything is so sweet and normal, that I don't know... so if Dylan do that you think Emma will survive??, maybe that will just rush her death don't you think??, that would be really problematic and will give some flavor to the show.

  11. it could add flavor either way I think. Either Dylan having to live with her loss and Norman rubbing it in (and to think of the hypocrisy of that, should it actually be Norman's fault) or Dylan being the Hero and Norman not liking it all, bit could lead to other escalations!

I don't think anything is normal, except that Norma had some resolution with her brother and does what she always does after a break down--pretend everything is ok--which is how we know things are going to go further south, but IMO everything else is rather rocky and off beat. All the main characters lives continue to be in jeopardy.
