    Easily the best episode yet imo, some great performances and tight plot that gave all of the cast something to do, no leaving Pythagoras out in the cold, or just making Hercules the comedian. When you see how well the show is doing now it really does feel a shame that there's only a few episodes left...

    I dropped this at the start of the season but I just had the channel on half way through and it actually looked a hell of a lot better. Shame it was cancelled though, I would have binge-watched the season when it finished.

    It's seemed much darker and more serious, loved the feel of it. I don't know when they filmed the 2nd half but maybe it's due to the show being cancelled their being much bolder, shame they didn't do it earlier.

    It was all filmed at once last year, I'm not sure that they knew about the hiatus when they shot the season - well, not that it would be such a long one anyway. The first half wasn't too bad, but got a tad too bogged down in being a road trip of sorts, but still an improvement on S1 overall.


    Part of me wonders if the extra post-production time has been of benefit to them too. The soundtrack is a lot better than normal imo, and I know that effects were very rushed normally. All preview copies for this and Merlin usually had a lot of green screen and/or creatures missing when they were issued perhaps only a day or so before airing.
