ReplyDeletecan confirm it’s not a flashback. I can’t confirm how the episode was shot (i.e. body doubles, CGI, etc). See everyone is remarking on the Good Wife mess now.

ReplyDeleteArrow: Ugh Ray! At least they are not trying to make him a member of the team and shove him down our throats even more. This season better end on a happy note because I can't take any more angst. It has been 20 and a half episodes of pain, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

ReplyDeleteDon't apologize, I feel exactly the same! Nothing about Derek's death makes sense. It doesn't move any story forward and it sure doesn't give any closure. He was already away so what's the point of killing him? And what was the point of that stupid cheating story??? She just couldn't resist making him cheat-ish before he leaves for good. It's a tradition. Every character has to cheat at some point.

ReplyDeleteIt's like Shonda had a personal falling out with Dempsey and she decided to cheapen & destroy the character in every ways possible.
ReplyDeleteNow Meredith will never get to know his husband kissed that woman & will be tagged as a cheater forever.
Meredith was already moving forward without Derek in her own way & succeeding at it(That awesome streak,remember?)so all those fans saying it will open up new possibilities for her,i say-What the hell are you talking about?I don't want her romancing some young hunk after the time jump,i fear no one does!As for her professional life,it was already on rise-Adding/Removing Derek from that equation doesn't change anything for her.So his death didn't serve any purpose otherwise than to show who's the real "DIVA".On top of that,we get a quickie funeral with no one attending,even his family!!
At this point, I wouldn't be shocked if they were just going to say she is in a comma or something.

ReplyDeleteRight? That death was an insult to PD, the character and the fans. Even Mark got a better send off. What is this fascination with making everyone a cheater? It's very disturbing really.
ReplyDeleteMeredith flat out told Derek that she can live without him. She can take care of the kids and manage her life and her career even advanced. So was the point that he was dragging her down and standing in her way and she's better off without him? He was already away and Meredith was fine without him and even Amelia was taking his place as the neuro legend. It's like she was saying he is a useless character now and the show doesn't need him.
Some of her stories (a lot actually) really disturb me. I couldn't even finish season 1 of Scandal even though Henry Ian Cusick was in it. I don't understand her fascination with cheating!
