  1. Bates Motel deserves way better than that.

  2. ehm.. no The Originals numbers? I mean, how many people watched it.

  3. The numbers that are up at the moment are the cable numbers. Network numbers will be up later.

  4. at least the Returned is steady at 0.4, Seeing how Bates Motel keeps dropping I'm hoping 0.4 is enough to not get pulled.

  5. Bates had 0.7 last week as well

  6. The official numbers aren't in but earlier today it was 0.5 / 1.11

  7. really sad to see TO on a 0.5

I'll go ahead and say that the TVD/TO franchise will be dead by 2017.

TVD losing it's female lead will hurt and usually shows don't live long past a leads departure, given TVDs already low ratings and expensive cast I'll say 7 will likely be its final season.

TO might live to see 4 but not beyond

  8. TO... 1.12 million. :( jesus.

  9. You dont know that

  10. I thought the Originals was really good last night. I hope these are not the final numbers. I still believe that the Originals is the best show. And nobody knows how long it will last. I hope they make it past season 4 because this show is my addiction. The Vampire Diaries lasted a long time and sometimes their numbers were low. At least they were not on the bottom.

  11. No, nobody can really know, but based on those ratings, and the latest news that's an educated guess.

Which honestly I'm not entirely 100% sure is accurate though.

While I agree with your assessment that TVD days are numbered, I think unless TO drops under a 0.5 (which I don't think it will) it'll easily get a S5 renewal (hell I even think if it manages to stay around the 0.4 mark it will get renewed)

  12. I think both shows only have one more season left in them.

With TO they needed to course correct and they haven't. They need to get rid of the characters not working (Hayley, Cami) and stop reacting Originals. They also really need to find Klaus an actual plotline and motivation beyond the baby.

People are not happy with the direction the show has taken and the ratings show that. Look at many viewers they've lost since last year.
