  1. AAAAAAH. Nice. I can live with this. I don't know the comics so I don't know what the white canary is supposed to be (someone help?). But hopefully she is still Sara. I really want this to take place in an alternate reality.

  4. So a villain! That's surprising

    ReplyDelete
  5. White Canary is certainly an odd and intriguing choice. I'm just curious to find out how it'll all fit in the DCverse and SpinoffVerse.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I was surprised too but since the character is not very famous they can alter it a little. Maybe give her a story similar to Deadshot's. But it would be interesting too if she's a villain and not an anti-hero; it would give Laurel a bigger arc as BC. It's becoming more obvious that Laurel is the character traveling between the three shows. Sara on the spinnoff, her mother is in CC and Cisco is helping her with her Canary cry on Flash and of course Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I don't really care if she is going to bewhite, red or pink canary. All I wanna know if she is playing Sara Lance or not.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Not really since Captain Cold and Heat Wave are Heroes in this version of things.

    ReplyDelete
  9. she could play antihero. Maybe has to deal with effects of the pit first.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Same here. Will she be Sara Lance the one who died or a different version from a different universe/alternate reality?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Exactly! I have no idea who or what white canary is! Lol, I feel really clueless now

    ReplyDelete
  12. I think the person in the dark (wig) hair with their face turned we saw earlier today at the table read is Caity Lotz.

    ReplyDelete
  13. WOW! Good one! Nice catch. Could be possible! We all assumed it was Tatsu

    ReplyDelete
  14. Thanks.

I betting it's Caity as The White Canary.

    ReplyDelete
  15. It is Tatsu.

  16. I am starting to get really excited for this spin-off. Since i am really not up to date i have a few questions:
    1) which characters from the flash or arrow will appear?
    2) When will the spin-off be introduced on arrow or the flash?
    3) Who has been cast so for?

I know most of These questions i should be able to answer but i have no idea :D

    ReplyDelete
  17. Just looked at the pic again. And Tatsu doesn't has that decolletage.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Apparently, both Caity and Ciara were soon at the Flash shooting.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I know how Tatsu looks present time but it could be either one.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I am still convinced it is more likely that Barry alters the timeline and creates an alternate reality than it is that she is resurrected.

    ReplyDelete
  21. 2. Ciara Renee/Caity Lotz both appeared to be in Vancouver so they might appear on both Arrow and Flash season finales.
    3.Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl
    Brandon Routh as Atom
Caity Lotz most likely as White Canary
    Wenworth Miller as Captain Cold
    Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory
    Victor Garber as Martin Stein
    Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter

    ReplyDelete
  22. CL was seen on the Flash set. And Rila was filming for Arrow this week on Monday already.

    ReplyDelete
  23. For me its more likely that the time traveler on the spin-off is the cause of the change then Barry.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Flash and Arrow are shooting in the same town.

    ReplyDelete
  25. And they just shot a scene between Tatsu and Laurel on Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I know that. But why would they put CL at the table. That would spoil it all.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Or that, yes. I don't know enough about the comics mythology to guess on that so I will take your word. My point is that I am more convinced there is an alternate timeline than they straight up resurrect Sara.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I wonder if the spin-off will be called New Earth.

    ReplyDelete
  29. We don't know if it is her. Everyone assumed that it's Rila, so no spoiling. I just said that it is an possibility. We'll have to wait and see.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I just dont want the case where everything gets erased from this season.

    ReplyDelete
  31. She can be anyone she wants as long as they don't use LP or time travel to bring her back.

    ReplyDelete
  32. My guess is Outsiders, there is a DC group called Outsiders. In a new formation GA is part of the team.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I am so so excited for this. I have been every since I've heard of the idea, it's easily one of my most anticipated shows ever.

    1) The Atom (Arrow), Captain Cold (The Flash), Heat Wave (The Flash), Martin Stein (The Flash) and some unconfirmed character played by Caity Lotz which most are speculating is the White Canary now (Arrow)

    2) Nobody knows. Since it involves Sara and since it is described as a super hero team show (which wouldn't fit with two villains being cast) and since there is only one half of Firestorm in it (Robbie Amell is confirmed not to be joining), the most prevalent theory about it is that an alternate reality will be introduced (either created by Barry or by the time traveler character that apparently shows up in the comics), in which all these things are different since something made things go in a different direction. The other theory, but less popular since it doesn't explain it all, is that Oliver will accept the offer in exchange for Sara being resurrected using the Lazarus Pit (the same which has allowed Raj to stay alive this long).

    ReplyDelete
  34. That I really don't think will happen.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I dont think Barry can just change Saras fate and not effect other things. The time traveler would be the least messy way.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Did you watch Fringe? They had an alternate reality in there where things took a different turn. It didn't affect anything in our reality, there were two separate, parallel realities. So in that alternate reality probably the events of the season wouldn't have happened but they would still remain in our reality.

    ReplyDelete
  37. But we will have characters from both Arrow& Flash on the spin-off. Berlanti implied its the same timeline. The floater from all 3 shows is also an issue.

    ReplyDelete
  38. The two shows ares supposed to be connected and characters from both Arrow and the Flash will appear on the spinoff.

    ReplyDelete
  39. My inference is that they won't be the same characters as we know them but rather different version of those characters. I don't know what the floater is.

    ReplyDelete
  40. They can still be connected. Fringe had ways of traveling between universes so our characters could still cross over for events and stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  41. There will be a character who originated on Arrow who will connect all 3 shows. And appear in all 3 shows.

    ReplyDelete
  42. How? They don't have Olivia on Arrow :D
No seriously I don't see a way for them to manage that. Any ideas? A portal? Barry zapping them every time someone needs to go there?

    ReplyDelete
  43. I don't think how it being an alternate reality thing prevents that, as long as there is someone with the ability to crossover (or a portal or something like that)

    ReplyDelete
  44. It is relatively easy to come up with something. They can do it with Barry, they can introduce a character with that ability, they can have Cisco build a portal, they can have Faux-Wells share the technology to do so with them, etc. I think there are enough options.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Ugh god please no.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Why not? Personally I love the perspective.

    ReplyDelete
  47. That means Arrow will be embracing the sci-fi aspect completely; I don't want that and I don't think the producers are going there otherwise why not make Laurel a metahuman and give her the Canary cry?

    ReplyDelete
  48. This wouldn't affect the day to day episodes on Arrow, just the crossover things. It is no different than having Barry there when they crossover.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I'm very excited about this hybrid spinoff because of the casting. Stellar group of actors. Very excited about the Caity reveal.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I was actually one of the few people who were against introducing metahumans on Arrow but I was OK with it if it was only Barry and for the sake of crossovers but portals to alternate worlds, flying girls who get resurrected and time travelers appearing on Arrow is a big leap for me. Don't get me wrong I LOVE sci-fi shows so much ; Fringe, the Flash and Smallville are on my top favourite shows of all time list but I always enjoyed how grounded Arrow was.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I understand that but I think there are ways around that. If Barry is the one who has the ability to crossover, the that problem is solved, since they wouldn't be introducing anything else. And they wouldn't be resurrecting anyone. Sara would have always been alive in that other world.

See it like this: they either resurrect Sara on Arrow or they have someone with the ability to crossover to an alternate reality (possibly Barry). In my opinion, resurrection is more of a stretch than crossing over, don't you think?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Hmmmm, well if I have to choose then Barry crossing over it is, but I'm still giving the producers the side eye lol

    ReplyDelete
  53. On Arrow where we had the mysterious resurection of Merlyn, the Oliver resurrection. They are gonna use the pit this season anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Oliver wasn't resurrected; he was saved by the magic snow.

    ReplyDelete
  55. And his will to live!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Awesome. I remember fan art from the time Sarah was introduced, on that Art Laurel was white Canary.... In the hope Sarah would survive (😉)

    ReplyDelete
  57. NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SARA LANCE IS NOT A VILLAIN YOU SOBs, SHE IS NOT EVIL, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG W YOU?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  58. If they use the Lazarus Pit to bring her back, she is going to be messed up.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I mean shado was a villian in the comics also. And they turned her into a hero.

    ReplyDelete
  60. but is it permanent or cans he come back?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Deadshot was a villain but he was actually more heroic than other people (read Ray).

    ReplyDelete
  62. I would say yes.

    ReplyDelete
  63. them destroying a character that went through hell and came out of it a hero would make me so pissed off. So i hope what you say it's true

    ReplyDelete
  64. It's temporary.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I didn't know there was such a thing as a white canary. Can someone tell me some info on the character?

    ReplyDelete
  66. Lol I am quite excited for alternate realities! The possibilities are endless!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Can the Lazarus Pit work if the person has been dead for a while? If that was the case, why didn't Merlyn use it on Tommy?

    ReplyDelete
  68. I am no expert on the mythology of the comics, I am afraid, you need to ask someone with comics knowledge.

    ReplyDelete
  69. wikipedia doesn't say anything about how dead should a person be for the pit to be effective. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lazarus_Pit

but i assume that it would work when a person is sort of 'freshly' dead because if you apply the logic of how it heals wounds and everything. but then again, it also says that the longer you stay in the pit, the younger you might get so if you bring in a corpse and put it in there for a while, it'd work?

I'm still hoping that they won't use the pit to bring back Sara but the show would focus on her past with LoA.

    she might be a clone

    ReplyDelete
  71. As long as she is playing Sara Lance I will be happy. If they introduce her as White Canary I hope she turns from negative to positive character soon. I like Sara being a hero.

    ReplyDelete
  72. This reminds me that they had a similar setup on Stargate SG-1 (crossing over from and to an alternative reality using a mirror portal, the stargate, and Merlin's device). You're right, there are plenty of options.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Huh, that's interesting. Would be an odd casting choice having Caity play White Canary seeing as White Canary is Chinese.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I demand to know that little bird's name. I want a word with that bird.

    ReplyDelete
  75. This is so not what i hoped for... Why isn't Laurel White Canary and we would have saved A LOT of troubles? At least until she is trained properly? If you're gonna change the lore then do it in a way that makes the show better...

    ReplyDelete
  76. Well, I don't know how I feel about that. I just want the Sara we knew back. And not a villain, that's for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  77. This show doesn't care about comicbook lore. People must deal with it. If not, i can't deal with the fact that the less trained hero took the name of Black Canary and the one with most advanced hand-to-hand skills will become a one trick pony villain(two times, actually).

    ReplyDelete
  78. the pit doesn't really work like that and its not for general use. not every tom, dick and harry and waltz up and use it.

    ReplyDelete
  79. depends what you mean by "temporary" do you mean to the writers/her being evil, or the actual affects of the pit (which are not)?

    ReplyDelete
  80. well, they care about some of the comic lore but they do play fast and loose sometimes. I don't know how "evil" she will be and that can be a subjective term in relation to some so "goodie, goodie" as Ray. You could see an LOA member as evil or good etc.....

    ReplyDelete
  81. Now I am intrigued....White Canary! This is what I wanted for Laurel and Sara to both be the Canary if it is Sara.

If that is the case I wonder how they resurrected her? Lazarus Pit or same way Oliver was? (Maybe they can bring back Tommy as some villain too). But anyway can't wait to see where this heading.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Mixed feelings about this. Then again,Caity is back,so all is okay!

    ReplyDelete
  83. Whoa. Take a deep breath.

    ReplyDelete
  84. How are they going to bring her back if not by LP or time travel?

    ReplyDelete
  85. Well they're the writers it's their job to figure this out lol

    ReplyDelete
  86. Excellent news. Someone drew a portrait of the Lance sisters as Black Canary and White Canary last year, and it appears to have been prophetic. Having Lotz back is great to begin with, and having her still portraying Sara is a bonus. Also, having Sara back boosts Laurel and brings Quentin's sanity back by the second half of next season.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Please don't do a romance plot between Ray and whoever Caity ends up playing. Pleaseeee :p

    ReplyDelete
  88. LOL.
Awesome answer, I'm really glad I'm not a writer because I have no idea.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Called this as soon as it was announced that Laurel would finally become Black Canary this season. It makes the most sense, especially since the comics version of White Canary is so mysterious that you could easily make Sara Arrowverse's version of the character. Wonder if Sara could ever start as a villain and we could get Black Canary vs White Canary.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Thank you dear lol
If you were a writer you wouldn't have started this mess in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  91. For once, I agree with you.

I think this time travel thing is way too much complicated. However, I would like to see (even for a few episodes) what would have been if Barry changed everything. For example, if Sara had never boarded the Gambit, Tommy or Moira had never died, etc.

Marc said that by the end of this season, the show will never be the same. I'm pretty sure he will disappoint me (again).

    ReplyDelete
  92. flashbacks, but I don't think is happening.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I wouldn't. But I probably would've been cancelled by now, so there's that.

    ReplyDelete
  94. That would be cheating.

    ReplyDelete
  95. would be?
everyone is assuming Caity Lotz will have a major role in this new spin off, but no one knows for sure

    ReplyDelete
  96. The point is i'm not sure she will be. I think it's just a name. After what they did with Palmer and The Atom, they can't say seriously that they care about comicbook canon.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I meant cheating because everyone is expecting Sara to come back in present time and people will be terribly disappointed if she stays dead.
But the show is theirs and they can do whatever, so...

    ReplyDelete
  98. I would watch it :D

    ReplyDelete
  99. You flatter me.
But that's 'cause you know that instead of an spin off called The Atom I would do one called Olicity LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  100. hey, I'm holding onto my small shreds! but , yeah.

    ReplyDelete
  101. White Canary or The Sister in Silk was a minor villain from the second run of Birds of Prey. The unknown sister to the Twelve Brothers In Silk (defeated by Black Canary + teammate years earlier) She first tried to blackmail Black Canary by revealing her identity and threatening to kill her teammates, when that didn't work she kidnapped Sin and threatned to kill her unless Black Canary dueled Lady Shiva (Possibly THE most deadly martial artist in the DC universe) to the death. Helena Bertenelli challenged Shiva in her place though, taking a nasty beating but giving Dinah enough time to locate and rescue Sin and postpone her and Shiva's duel to a later date. Not wishing to stand against both Black Canary and Shiva, White Canary retreated, vowing to return one day.

Of course then Barry Allen broke the universe with Flashpoint and the world was changed. White Canary has not appeared in the new universe.

    ReplyDelete
  102. i can't, she's a hero

    ReplyDelete
  103. Same. Hi. Joy. = ) (I'm still in the hospital btw)

    ReplyDelete
  104. Omggg, I so agree with you!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Idk how I feel about this. I have no words.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Dude characters vary greatly in adaptations at times. Plus that would make no sense. At worst Sara's an anti-hero. And that's only because of her willingness to kill.

    ReplyDelete
  107. For like 5-10 minutes. Instability only counts over repeated uses for a long time.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Katana would probably be involved though. Interesting if they used them though given it was founded by Batman.

    ReplyDelete
  109. It varies on death and how long you died ago.

    ReplyDelete
  110. I think that went out the window with the Atom, Mirakuru, the fact the Flash gained powers on Arrow. Powers on Arrow are inevitable. It'll be rare of course, but one or two will show up. Gotta happen.

    ReplyDelete
  111. It's hinted Tatsu revived him from death.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Well if this is connected to the New 52 multiverse. It's more like there are 51 possibilities.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Barry can do that. Thanks to the Speed Force and his vibrational abilities.

    ReplyDelete
  114. The most likely some believe is Felicity. Laurel I doubt.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Get well soon! You're missing everything!

    ReplyDelete
  116. I know. = (....i'm so upset. i NEED to be out of this hospital by Tuesday, or there will be hell to pay!! And Thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  117. Yes, I never really take this Caity/Sara coming back thing for real because all the options are lame, the only one I can see happening is Flashbacks because is more plausible. I like the time travel theory but that would make a mess on the Arrow timeline, maybe that's the intention anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  118. If Sara returns to live, major parts of Arrow season 3 were a bad joke. And it makes Laurel becoming the black canary even more annoying. If anything, Sara should return to Arrow and kick her sister's ass.
