Thanks to Koky for the heads up.

  1. Finally, Oliver gets to deflect someone else's arrow. Also that fly kick was on point.

    ReplyDelete
  2. It is so sad the only person who wants justice for Sara is Nyssa. I am not blaming Oliver but lack of action against Malcolm from Laurel and even Nyssa is another WTF arc of this season. The Malcolm situation is honestly such a mess. JB deserves better.

BTW as if Oliver will kill Nyssa. Pshhh... Ra's wants you two cool kids to marry because he has baby swords and arrows already made for his heir. Too bad Ra's does not believe in artificial insemination.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Nyssa wants to die in the same place as Sara 😩

    ReplyDelete
  4. That BTW sentence is so creepy. Chills.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Does Ra really care for heirs?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Yes, Oliver, DO IT !

    ReplyDelete
  7. Nice preview. Can't wait for me to see all of it.
Laurel will bust this party with that sweet sweet Canary Cry.

    ReplyDelete
  8. In comics he does and he makes Batman marry Talia. Or so they say. Since our Oliver is Batman lite he gets Talia lite Nyssa.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I will be so mad if they force the only gay character to marry a dude even if it is a farce. So I hope I am wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Ugh Nyssa is nothing like Talia. Keep away Talia from Arrow at all costs!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I want them to steal from other comics next season onwards. Enough with Batman characters. Let's poach some other heroes now.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Well with EPs saying its an of a chapter i am hoping we are done with Batman stories

    ReplyDelete
  13. I wouldn't like it either. But I was refering to the swords and arrows part.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I'll be angry about it too. I'm trying to prepare myself, because I think that's where they're going. Fingers crossed it's Thea and Roy.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Al Sah-Him, Oliver Queen is gone

    ReplyDelete
  16. My prediction is Ronnie is going to die in the finale. They are making Caitlin and Ronnie marry in the season finale. One of them is as good as dead.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Evil Oliver, i love it. :D

    ReplyDelete
  18. I need Barry to turn more to helping the city not just for friends and family or using his suit for romantic meetings with Iris. Its been bothering me more as the season progressed.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Historical_Materialist29 April 2015 at 14:59

    Drama.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I agree. I'm pretty much sure Robbie won't return. His wife tweeted that he was going to be filming a movie for 10 weeks at least. =(

    ReplyDelete
  21. Maybe not in comics. But MG said they have complete leeway to take the character wherever they want. He hinted they even have the freedom to kill him. Also in comics Talia does overthrow him and becomes the leader doesn't she? I am not a comic book reader so pardon my ignorance.

Honestly I hope Nyssa is not forced to sleep with Oliver. Too squicky for me.

    ReplyDelete
  22. They are setting up the drift between Oliver & Diggle. And there is still the Lance family drama for a 3rd consecutive season. There is enough drama on the show as it is.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hoping the Movie is Power Rangers. He would be an awesome Red Ranger.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Those little parasites are adorable aren't they? I have one at home who is growing too fast for my liking. That first year until they start to walk is the best. Once they become mobile they are everywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I don't want Ronnie to die, but don't see him stick around. So dying is probably the more reasonable decision cause he would get to much focus and money to do all those effects.

I*m already crying for Caitlin. But still looking forward to see Danielle go full mad house.

    ReplyDelete
  26. First half of the season: Oliver's Malcolm's lap dog.
Second half of the season: Oliver's Ra's lap dog.

    ReplyDelete
  27. This one was adorable. The mother was talking with the "big" doctor and I held her so they schedule some appointment. The kid is 7 months old and I just died how cute she was. Tremendous. I need to push my brother to have one.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Agreed. But now that Iris knows all these dramas and clandestine meetings can be avoided next season. Thank God they resolved it this season itself.

    ReplyDelete
  29. A white wedding in season finale. That in itself painted a big target on Ronnie's back. Also Caitlin needs to turn more bitter to become Killer Frost. The only way these writers know to make that happen is like always kill someone.

    ReplyDelete
  30. :( Even though I predicted it I wanted him to recur. This is sad.

    ReplyDelete
  31. That would be awesome, but unfortunately according to his IMDB page there's a movie about "A stuffy businessman who finds himself trapped inside the body of his family's cat" that is in pre-production and he's listed. So I'm betting on that one.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Historical_Materialist29 April 2015 at 15:07

Nonsense! There's never enough drama on TV. Think of possibilities its great! :)

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yeah but now Barry is gonna be cause of whatever happens with Eddie. The Flash destroyed me this week. Because my pairing of Eddie/happiness probably wont be happening.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think he might recur eventually if they don't kill him. Just don't think he's going to be regular on any show, either Flash or the spin-off (does that have a name yet? I'm tired of calling it the spin-off).

    ReplyDelete
  35. Yeah quite possible. Still he is on my Red Ranger wish list.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Let me tell you nieces and nephews are so much better than your own. Only play no work involved. I used spoil my niece rotten. With my kid I have to be responsible. *sigh*

7 months around is the best. They giggle like crazy during that time.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Not if they force a gay women to marry a straight dude. That would cross the line.

    ReplyDelete
  38. The only other option is she freezing him by accident. And she trying to free him. But death is more likely.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thea and Roy makes least sense. So Roy marries Thea and leaves his wife forever. meh.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Eddie was doomed from the beginning. No point getting attached to him. He is so pretty though. If only him and Barry were the OTP.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Well if the marriage doesnt continue into S4 it could be anyone.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Go away evil creature. Eddie is a precious puppy. Cant help myself but root for him. I like him more then Barry. *shrugs*

    ReplyDelete
  43. Legends of Tomorrow. I hope they don't kill him off. But TV logic says he is going to die.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yeah I believe that. 2-3 hours every day or two is perfect. I'm in the age where all my close friends are getting babies and I just twirl around, taking the precious moments from it and no tough daddy.
But I see how tough it is on parents, especially these days. Restricting the kids with everything being so approachable.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Historical_Materialist29 April 2015 at 15:16

One of the appeals of R'as al Ghul since he was created in 1972 is the fact that he is constantly dying and returning. its part of the allure: is Ra's dead? Will he return? He hangs like a cloud over everything and no one is ever fully at ease. Oliver and Nyssa might overthrow R'as or appear to but ultimately they may have to go through all of this anyway if he returns. I don't see the producers repeating themselves that way. I could be wrong but pairing Oliver and Nyssa would satisfy the need to close out this story arc while opening up a world of possible plots down the road. I think it would be great.

    ReplyDelete
  46. LOL. He is a cutie and adorable puppy for sure. I hate the way Joe treats him. But poor guy was saddled with Thawne as a surname. But I don't think he will die. RF won't allow it as he needs Eddie to live to guarantee his existence. I hope the guy doesn't turn completely evil. I like him.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I just fear another Tommy situation. These EPs killing characters i like since 2013.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Historical_Materialist29 April 2015 at 15:19

Why would it cross a line? The story makes it clear: It's not like they'd be in love or it would suggest that a gay woman has changed her nature. It would clearly be a case of a necessary evil to avoid an even greater evil. That's drama.

    ReplyDelete
  49. The problem with that is if it happens LoA story will not end this season. No way Oliver will abandon his child and let him or her grow up with league. He will forever try to get the kid back. I don't think show will go for that next season and there is not enough time this season for it to play out.

    ReplyDelete
  50. If it is not a forced marriage I don't see why anyone of them would want to marry now.

    ReplyDelete
  51. No for me this would be crossing the line. If this would be a union where Nyssa and Oliver both get something out of it and both agree to, the issue wouldnt be as bad. But if Nyssa doesnt agree to it, its crossing a line for me.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Thea still has some leftover of the crazy pit i would assume. Maybe riding on a high when she sees Roy.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I used to teach so many loud screaming songs to my niece. Lol. Used to drive my sis mad. Its really hard nowadays with kids. My 4 yr old is obsessed with electronics. I made a mistake of letting him play a game once on my phone. Never again. I learned my lesson the hard way. No electronics for him until he is 6 at least.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Historical_Materialist29 April 2015 at 15:26

The LoA has been around since the beginning and it doubtful their involvement in the show will end anytime soon. Nyssa could simply take the child and disappear leaving Oliver to search and wonder about his child. The league has other enemies too. The child could be kidnapped as an example. There's lots of rich story potential here.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Historical_Materialist29 April 2015 at 15:28

Of course Nyssa would have to agree to it.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hmm. Could happen. But from what I heard from interviews of the cast and crew and spoilers it felt like they are going to open a new chapter next year with comparatively less angst. With a missing child for Oliver unless he is unaware of it I don't see how they can make Oliver less angsty. Also Oliver already has a child he has no idea about and never got to bring up. I don't see him loosing another child again.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Now everyone is Malcolm's lapdog as nobody cares he killed Sara.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Nyssa has never outright defined herself as being a lesbian.

    ReplyDelete
  59. But why would Roy go with it? To calm her down? I hope this marriage makes sense. I find this really unnecessary.

    ReplyDelete
  60. But he needs to procreate for Eobard to exist. Or Eddie could be killed thus making Eobard a paradox and him being unable to go to future ever again. I hope he remains alive and a good guy. Just because his great grandchild is evil does not mean he too has to be one.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Maybe they form a fighting duo over the summer. Roy cant exactly stay in Starling city, since he is considered dead. And they said Colton might pop up from time to time.

    ReplyDelete
  62. What if Iris is the baby momma? And then Eddie dies?

    ReplyDelete
  63. But MG in interviews said Thea will get closure from Roy in Ep 22. If they are going to go away together for summer he wouldn't use the word closure would he?

    ReplyDelete
  64. I can only imagine the struggle. Especially cause U want them to have it all and don't fall behind other kids. But I'm sure U are raising Ur kid to be a pround member of Team Arrow. ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  65. We are talking about Guggentroll here.

    ReplyDelete
  66. True. But she never defined herself as bisexual too. So who knows. Only thing we know is she is devoted to Sara and Ra's is in a pissy fit because she was in a relationship with a woman.

Forget the gay thing. Nyssa does not like Oliver which is clear from their interactions. So it will still be forcing two characters to have sex against their wishes.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Oooh. That would be a twist. So Eobard will be Iris' descendant whose grand parents were brought up by Barry Allen? That is one twisted family.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Katrina Law also said Nyssa wouldnt be against the L/N friendship turning into romance in todays interview with IGN.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Well Eobard sounded like the issue isnt that petty. So i assume something major is gonna happen to Eddie and Barry will be involved.

    ReplyDelete
  70. My belief is Barry somehow goes to Eobard's future and does some harm to him there. May be kill a family member accidentally. Thus the revenge. Who knows?

    ReplyDelete
  71. I want some kind of twist. Werent Eddie and Barry related in the comics?

    ReplyDelete
  72. I hope that does not happen. Not that I have a problem with Laurel being bi but enough with sister swapping especially now that Sara is going to be back.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I still say Nyssa is hiding something.

    ReplyDelete
  74. In original Flash comics I don't think there is a character called Eddie. There is only Eobard Thawne and his daughter who marries Barry's grand child I think and has two Thawne-Allen children who are good speedsters. Flash mythology is crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Honestly, I'd much rather Roy and Thea marry for whatever reason and then have it end than for Nyssa and Oliver to be in some idiotic forced marriage.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I never get that feeling. I always feel Malcolm is hiding something with his talks to Thea about how he made her a killer to protect her and because he loves her. I have a feeling he was working along side Ra's all this time.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Well there is that. He is milking this marriage spoiler a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Nyssa kills him in the comics so in that regard, I wish they stayed a little more true to those stories. I do love Matt Nable though.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I don't want a marriage at all. The moment that spoiler came I was annoyed. I hope whoever it is or whatever it is it makes some sort of sense.

    ReplyDelete
  80. I think there was a Malcolm Thawne who turned out to be Barry Allens brother. I am waiting for them to spin that in the show.

    ReplyDelete
  81. which is pointless because (in theory) he has another daughter who is not, ya know, a lesbian.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Oh there was. Holy cow!!! So many mind boggling stories on Flash. The comics are a soap opera. And people complain about Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Shhhh.... We don't talk about characters whom DC refuse to give us. We close our eyes and act like it is not there.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I guess Oliver has partial amnesia like he did in the comics. He remembers Nyssa saying Vengeance is Justice but it is implied he could have forgotten Sara. Probably forgotten Laurel and Felicity too. That would certainly make Felicity understandably sad.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I know, but, but.......Batman......Thalia.......annoying kid.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Shhhh...
    http://k32.kn3.net/54631122E.gif

    ReplyDelete
  87. LOL, I still do! xD

    ReplyDelete
  88. Honestly I still think the best thing for the thing with Malcolm, is either finally just let him die with some actual sacrifice for Thea, even though that still would be a bit weird, since I still don't believe he actually REALLY cares, with how happy and proud he is that he got exactly what he wanted.

    OR

That they just let him go full on evil again, the only reason his situation is such a mess, is because of this "Purgatory" zone they constantly keep him in. They just need to cut that cord already and make a choice, I'm sure JB could do a lot more with that too, I feel like at this stage, even he didn't have a clue of how exactly to portray this guy that is all over the place.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I vote for full on evil with crazy Daddy love for Thea. This in between road is not working for me.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Historical_Materialist29 April 2015 at 16:37

You're referring to "Death and the Maidens" from 2004. In it Nyssa reveals herself to be Ra's al Ghul's other daughter and proceeds to repeatedly kill and resurrect Talia using the Lazarus Pit over and over again. The shock and madness of repeatedly dying and coming back to life in the pit causes Talia to break and be brainwashed by Nyssa. Talia becomes subservient to Nyssa and declares her hatred of Batman. They both then turn on Ra's.

    ReplyDelete
  91. um, where did you get a picture of me?

    ReplyDelete
  92. I'm not ready for this! :(

    ReplyDelete
  93. Have you considered it could be Tatsu and Maseo recoinciling and doing the "second wedding" thing, only for the past from Japan they were running from to catch up, killing Maseo and setting Tatsu on her Katana path.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Excuse you... That is me. Skipper is my favorite.

    ReplyDelete
  95. might you be my doppelganger or long lost twin?

    ReplyDelete
  96. You mean Tatsu and Maseo remarrying in the current time line. Maybe. But the marriage happens in ep 22. I don't see how Maseo leaves the league to get married in that episode when Ra's is still in power.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Doppelganger that must be it. *fist bump*

    ReplyDelete
  98. We don't know if Colton really leave for good, I don't buy that contract stuff.

I think he will be the one doing the 3 shows. Plus, Willa is not in the season finale according to some people so maybe is Thea and Roy afterall.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Yeah, I mean current timeline. It's a "safe" marriage that won't be an incredibly boneheaded plot like Roy/Thea or a minefield of potentialy offensive poltical issues like the suggested forcing a gay woman to marry a dude. A title like "This is your sword" could very well be Tatsu/Katana related. Didn't they promise us we'd see Tatsu in full Katana mode before seasons end. But that could very well be one of those plotlines they couldn't fit.

    ReplyDelete
  100. If Willa is not in the finale I could see it happening and her going away with Roy. But I thought in finale Thea is going to reconcile with Malcolm. I will be sad not to see Willa in finale. Also isn't Roy a fugitive? How does the marriage thing work for him?

    ReplyDelete
  101. Since Rila got a pilot for next season I am not sure whether we will see her as Katana. I would be overjoyed if the wedding is theirs. But I wonder how Maseo will get away from Ra's. KL in an interview said the marriage will be a shock to Nyssa as well as members of Team Arrow. I don't see how these two cute kids' wedding will shock our characters.

I hate weddings unless it is of Diggle. Now I have to endure one in Arrow and another in Flash.

    ReplyDelete
  102. A shock to Nyssaeh?

I got it now.....Donna Smoak and Daddy Ra's...

    ReplyDelete
  103. Don't make Donna next Felicity. First Papa Lance, then Daddy Merlyn and now father Ra's. Give her a break. Let's pair her up with Felicity's dad for a change.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Yes. He's resurrected later, when he finally takes control of Dusan.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Like mother like daughter then, both have a type....Donna's is obviously "guys with complicated relationships to their daughters"

    ReplyDelete
  106. I thought Diggle was the one touring the three shows?

    ReplyDelete
  107. It's that confirmed? LOL poor David, he barely has anything to do on Arrow, now he will just jump from show to show?.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Maybe is not a legitimate marriage, just a ceremony. I don't think Willa is in the finale.

    ReplyDelete
  109. LOL, that crazy Daddy love for Thea is there either way, I mean... It's no normal love no matter how you put it, even that is all over the place sometims xD

But yeah, he should be that nemsis again, and just really an enemy, like you, this in between is totally NOT working for me.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Ohhhh my feelings! Whyyyy??? = ( I can't take anymore. There better be some positivity to this episode. Let me smile at least twice! I beg you.

    ReplyDelete
  111. No.It is not confirmed. David just said he will crossover to both Flash and new show. That does not mean he is the floater. Its confirmed Felicity was also going to cross over to both shows. They have yet confirm who the floater is. With HIVE getting a prominent role on Arrow I don't see Diggle moving on as a floater. It could be some minor character like Lyla or Waller.

    ReplyDelete
  112. He better win.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Then enter Digg, Laurel and The Canary Cry to f**k Al Sahim's head! Let's add Thea into the mix too! This is gonna be good! ;)

    PS: Right thread now Jajajaja

    ReplyDelete
  114. They care, but they just can't really jail him. Everyone f*cking hates the guy. And much much more important things to deal with right now. Which there has been for basically the last 12 episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  115. She might not even exist here. She probably doesn't.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Ugh I'm not even going to state why he's not Batman lite but he's not. His becoming Al Sahim itself deviates from the Batman storyline.

    ReplyDelete
  117. From what I've heard (not much of a Green Arrow fanboy) it was done because Green Arrow has a pretty weak rogue's gallery. And to be fair he has dealt with the league in the comics, and this is a huge deviation from any Batman story.

    ReplyDelete
  118. You know I am not a comic book fan. I am a TV/movie person when it comes to comics. I am not saying our Arrow is a complete rip off of Batman. I don't have enough knowledge to make that claim. But the creators of this show really tries to emulate Nolan Batman movies in the beginning and they themselves has said they do look into Batman mythology for villains and stuff. If the wedding rumor turns out between Oliver and Nyssa it will be a kind of copy of what happened between Talia and Bruce. That's all I meant by this comment.

    ReplyDelete
  119. I am not blaming the characters I am blaming the writing. They are kind of playing around with the idea of Malcolm has some good in him. To sell that they kind of make the characters tolerate him.
Does Laurel hate him? Then why is she not doing anything to put Malcolm away now that he is lounging around in Thea's loft. Why is brave Nyssa not trying to kill him now that her father has let Malcolm go free. Oliver once again gave Thea into the care of Malcolm. He is an evil dude. The show should accept that. This hanging in between thing is not working for me. It would have worked a little bit better even with the undertaking if he was not behind every bad thing that happened this year.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Fair, but it just bugs me when peoplee claim he is, because he isn't. They've differently tonally and character wis took inspiration (especially in the beginning) but he's not. If it did, yeah similar, but unlike Talia and Bruce (who genuinely love each other and had a kid) they wouldn't and it'd be a sham, and Bruce never actually agreed to join the league or wed her. The heir thing would be the same but the circumstances very different. Though I doubt still that Ra's is doing that.

    ReplyDelete
  121. I don't blame them for getting stuff from Batman comics. But now that the show is in its 4th season maybe a new source comics for inspiration will be welcome.

    ReplyDelete
  122. The problem is the league heir thing is one of the most prominent Batman story lines. Something that even comic book ignorant like me knows (infact that is one of the few Batman storylines that I know). So even though there are differences in circumstances the comparison will be quite obvious.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Christina Hardin29 April 2015 at 21:00

Me too! Or at least a better balance of light episodes spaced out between the angst. I mean I LOVE angst and this season has been killing me! It was too much.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Okay, but it's not like they're having beers and joking. They clearly hate him and only work with him as a last resort. They just haven't gone after him. Nyssa I think because she's training Laurel or something. She clearly plans on doing so, it is why she left the League. Problem is how? Laurel has nothing linking Malcolm to Sara's death. Thea has no memory of the event. No one has the footage. There's no proof. And the Undertaking it's attributed to him. But they don't have his machine, a confession, he tied up all the loose ends. Yeah Moira said it was him, but she's dead so there's no testimony from her or any other Tempest member. Honestly when he said he's free he was right. The Undertaking could put him in legal trouble for a bit, but he'd be out in under an hour. And that's not counting the already extreme legal crap of just making it possible to try a dead man.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I disagree. This legal hassle that you talk about is just excuses to explain away bad writing. Nothing is tying Nyssa and Laurel's hands from seeking revenge from Malcolm. Laurel might not want to kill Malcolm but NYssa definitely does. Laurel knows where he is hiding out. The police had investigated Malcolm Merlyn on behalf of Unidac Industries massacre. They have Moira's confession and more than that the whole city believes Malcolm is behind the undertaking. His assets were seized by the city and was put under receivership. That happened because the judicial system already considers him guilty. If Oliver can be brought back from dead within one episode. An incarcerated Malcolm can be brought back from dead too to be tried in court.

I grudgingly understand why Team Arrow and Thea is tolerating Malcolm's presence. But there is no excuse for Laurel and Nyssa. This is a big plot hole as Laurel's journey to BC was so tied up in this revenge scheme. Also what is the explanation for Oliver handing Thea over to Malcolm's care once again when he is surrendering to the LoA and has no hope of ever returning. So it is okay for Thea to continue under the care of a mass murderer and more than that someone who made her a killer? I said it during the Climb and I say it now after the Fallen if Oliver loved Thea he would never let Thea be under Malcolm's care. Its completely OOC behavior from Oliver. I cannot justify such shoddy writing. They need to either redeem Malcolm completely or acknowledge on the show he is evil.

    ReplyDelete
  126. That's not hows the law works. Everyone even Merlyn is innocent until proven guilty. Just because the city thinks he guilty. Legally that means jack shit. Same with seizing assets. He's still not guilty in any jurisdiction and they have no irrefutable proof of Merlyn's guilt. And the law says you have to be guilty beyond reasonable doubt, which means a confession, DNA and all that. Hard evidence which they lack. And there's a different between legally dead and a coroner medically examines your body and clarifies you as dead. It's not though. Laurel isn't about vengeance anymore she hasn't for a long time. He left her in Felicity's Diggle and Malcolm's care. He isn't just completely trusting Malcolm or leaving her in Malcolm's care. Simple, because Malcolm despite everything cares about Thea, he hates himself for what he did and us trying o make amends. They are redeeming him, but redemption takes time.

    ReplyDelete
  127. We never saw a grave for Malcolm Merlyn. It was never made clear if there was an autopsy done on Malcolm. So what just because there is difficulties to bring a bad man to justice you do not try him in court at all? Felicity had proof that she hacked from.Merlyn global which makes him the orchestrator of the earth quake machine. If Starling city police can put away criminals based on the intel provided by Arrow then these evidence can also be used against Merlyn. And what excuse does the show have for Nyssa not getting revenge from Malcolm? Once again its not about whether he manages to get away from custody or be exonerated like Moira its about good guys trying to get justice.

I do not believe Malcolm feels guilty for what he did to Thea or Sara. Just few episodes before he told Thea he made her into a killer for her benefit. That is not guilt speaking. Also if feeling guilty is the only criterion for bad guys being treated as family then team Arrow should run a therapy session instead of putting people in Iron Heights. Thea the victim is once again handed over and forced to live with Malcom the abuser and face him every day. There is absolutely no logic behind the characters' behavior towards Malcolm this season.

  128. There are so many quotes and interviews with Katrina Law about this episode, I'm starting to worry about Nyssa. I'm not happy about it either. Fockers.

  129. Then reneged on that and began expressing and showing remorse and wanting to make it better as shown in The Fallen. O D A, just because you're not actively trying to imprison someone (again for excellent reasons) they're not family too you. Except she's not. No one is forcing her to live with Malcolm. And she's not handed over Diggle and Felicity are clearly helping her and taking care of her. Malcolm is just trying to make amends. There is logic it's just skewed at times given the circumstances. Just because you don't believe he feels guilty doesn't make it true. His face when he saw her die, the talk when they got back from Nanda Parbat, it all showed that Malcolm despite his near insanity cares about Thea immensely and wants to better and help her in this time of weakness and be a shoulder for her and support her. They're trying to deal with Oliver's absence and trying to operate and continue protecting the city, and before that there was literally no way they could focus on putting away Malcolm and handling the shit they have to at the same time. It's not idyllic and I'd like to see Merlyn attempt to be put away, but there are and have been or months much bigger issues and problems.

  130. I thought she had some respect for him when they initially met, although that may have gone down the drain when he decided to become the next Ra's. For all we know they could fall in love with each other, who knows?

  131. Even if the marriage happens there is no way it is going to last and they are going to live as a couple. LOL. They might kill each other in sleep.

  132. I am so glad in this episode it was said Thea and Malcolm are not living together. So that is one concern averted.

I am not saying Malcolm does not care about Thea. Infact she is the only one he cares about. My point was he does not feel guilty about his actions towards Thea. He still believes what he did, killing Sara and making Thea do it, was the best course for Thea. A redemption arc for a character starts when he/she feels guilty about their actions and people they have harmed. In Malcolm's case there was not much legitimate reason for him to make Thea kill Sara apart from the fact that he is a coward and he still don't feel one ounce of guilt for that.

So for characters like Nyssa and Laurel who loved Sara so much to just accept him roaming around free is baffling to me. Or does the fact that Malcolm got tortured in Nanda Parbat at the hands of Ra's is enough for both? If that was explained I would have been fine. It feels disjointed that after ep 15, Nanda Parbat Nyssa is fine with Malcolm being alive.

  133. True, but I do believe he feels guilty in the sense of not about making her do it but in that it got her basically killed by Ra's. Sorry that's more what I meant. I don't think they've accepted it (and I believe when him and Nyssa interact she'll probably try and kill him), I just think she is honestly trying to be a normal girl for the first time ever for now and is trying to move on from Sara's death (as shown when she asked Laurel out to coffee to talk to her). And I much prefer seeing her and Laurel exhibit these beautiful moments of friendship like Nyssa being introduced to the joy of dipping a fry in a milkshake (also now I know that black and white milkshakes exist so thank you Laurel) to Nyssa just foolishly trying to murder Merlyn. I know that sounds weird just dismissing t, but I like Nyssa and I love her development and to see her try to do that, and be happy and not die (because if she tried to kill him, he'd murder her) is much better to me than see a more consistent moment perhaps of the old Nyssa being sad, angry and vengeful and trying to kill Merlyn, knowing she'd fail. Seeing her try to be a better more human person and to move on from such tragedy just makes me so happy, particularly since so many characters in this show lose themselves to grief and become tragic, bitter damage characters. So to see two women who loved Sara the most bond over her, and become happy through that bond is too me much better than anger.

  134. It could possibly be one of the best sitcoms.

    "Everybody hates Oliver"
    "How I arrange-married your mother"
    "two and a half assassins"

    This stuff writes itself.
