  1. Woah, this is the first promo that's actually made it look good, and very good. I was initially looking forward to it until they released sneak peeks and promos that all looked terrible, but this has gained my interest back.

  2. I know it seems that The CW has zero faith in this show, but damn I really want to watch it!

  3. AWESOME!!!!! Jessica from Gang Related can phase through solid objects!!! that is so freaking cool!!! but why does Jason from Revolution have a stupid tattoo?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. The only reason this show was banished before it even premiered is because CBS gave the nod to Reign which will have 44 episodes by May.

If Jane the Virgin wasn't so critically acclaimed, it would've ended after 13 episodes and The Messengers would've had a descent shot at success on Monday/Wednesday.

  5. This is the show I'm most looking forward, besides the flash I really hope it has a chance!!!

  6. Another awesome promo! Absolutely loved that shot of the Angels of the Apocalypse and you see the angel wings start flickering behind them. I'm going to watch this show regardless of how poor the ratings are. So excited.

  7. so that's why The Messengers was dumped on the Friday Death Slot?

  8. i am so annoyed this has been dumped on Fridays, it looks so interesting. Oh well maybe it surprise the people at the CW and it may have a chance.. maybe even as a summer show

Don't be ridiculous ,It dosent matter who produces the show since CW is a joint venture and Messengers is a joint CBS/WB production anyway.Jane got a full season after two episodes and clearly had network support/favor.CW put Messengers on Fri because with HoD,MoI ,t ending hey needed something to fill the slot and Czw wants a mix of scripted and reality shows on Fri and this was the only open slot. Also,Czwclearly has more faith/confidence/higher hopes in IZombie.Every year,Czw has a sacrificial show-a couple years ago it was Cult, last year Star-Crossed.Not very new show can get a great timeslot/leadin ect especially on Czw when only 2-3 shows are good leadin/leadouts.

  11. Love this trailer, can't wait for this to air :)

  12. are summer shows successful?

  13. CBS is the show's distributor. It gets the lion's share of the profits from international, syndication, streaming, etc. For all intents and purposes, it is a CBS show. Get a clue.

  14. I've quite been looking forward to this. I'm hoping it's good...

  16. They foud each other pretty fast. I hate that day th why friday?

  17. definitely, i haven't seen that effect on any show or movie before so it's awesome, i mean Supernatural we have shadows for their wings but never this kind of effect

  18. hey at least it's not like Heroes where they're all over the world. This is better

  19. I've had serious problems with all videos since they changed the player, I just have to find them on YouTube.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Well I think they have quite a bit of story to tell and only 13 episodes. At least it won't get dragged out? Haha :)

  21. for me it's the other way LOL, this works completely fine for me

Not since it's a co-production on a network that's a joint venture so it splits all the profits of all of its shows

  23. "Who can deny the joy it brings, when you found that special thing.

    Your flying without wings!"

  24. hehehe.

It's a song from a popular boyband and the promo really reminded me of that track. Anyone from the UK, Asia and Australia might recall who I'm referring to. :D

  25. They haven't have a very successful summer show since the CW's formation apart from a relocated ANTM and Whose Line. All past shows slotted for summer ended up getting canceled: Hidden Palms, The LA Complex (which was out of The CW's hands), Capture, The Catalina, The Next, Breaking Pointe, etc.

  26. Co-producing and distribution/syndication are two different business models. But all in all, all shows made for the CW are in-house productions so it doesn't really matter which parent company gets what as both both CBS and the WB all gain from this venture.

  27. The promo is looking good! ^_^

Hoping that the CW isn't giving up on this and that we'll get some major promotion till April17th.

  29. Wow, that was amazing

I was very disappointed with the first promo they released, it made this show to look so boring, but this promo was amazing

    ReplyDelete
  30. Woah, second promo. CW's PR must have heard our complaining.

    ReplyDelete
  31. You are an idiot and I don't have the patience to explain why so be gone.

Thers no need to be so rude, call names and insult. Its not my fault if you don't how CW really runs and it's not the way you think it does as in it dosent matter who owns the shows,

    ReplyDelete
  33. well not really, but summer ratings are lower than regular season especially on the CW so if it premieres low airing in summer would make much difference

    ReplyDelete
  34. Well it's about time we got a second promo -_-
Numbers of promos/interviews/featurettes for iZombie: 420320
    The Messengers: 2
The CW isn't even trying to save The Messengers. Just......... PFF.

    Good promo though.
