  1. In one word AWESOME! Carol what can I say, her scaring the S%#t out of that boy was genius! Rick OMG his darker side week by week is coming out!!

    ReplyDelete
  2. Great episode I think these people are good people but a bit naive Wow! At Carol scaring that kid I know it's been awhile that Rick kiss someone but he need to do it better

    ReplyDelete
  3. I voted Awesome just for Carol alone! She has turned into one bad a$$ chick! :)

    ReplyDelete
  4. Great episode. So Rick is for taken Alexandria, and Jessie possibly? Carol, shock and awe.

    ReplyDelete
  5. On "Talking Dead" Chris Hardwick just said Norman ( Daryl ) Reedus would be the guest on the season finale in three weeks right ?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Another wonderful episode!!

I loved Carol's speech to Sam! That was my favorite moment. I'm not sure what to make of Rick grabbing his gun as he watched Jessie and Peter walk by . . . . omnious. Daryl at dinner w/Aaron and Steve was entertaining.

I think Deanna is living in a dream world, so I completely understood Sasha's outburst!

Only three episodes left so you know something crazy is gonna happen! Our group can't be happy for long!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Yes, he did! So I bet that means Daryl does NOT die. They know we all believe the special guest stars are those who die so why announce it?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Let's hope. It would suck if it was a 'exit' interview / tribute.

    ReplyDelete
  9. That would be horrible!

Honestly, I don't want anyone else to die this year! We already lost Tyrese (who I loved) and Beth so there's no need to kill anyone else, IMO!! Fingers crossed :-)

  10. Does the 'W' ( on the walker ) stand for wolves ?
    Wolves = The Saviors

    ReplyDelete
  11. IMHO, Wolves = Scavengers, a group different from the Saviors.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I actually like deanna. if they want to live in a safe community it's completely understandable. and carols turning into someone I don't like I get you have to be cautious but you also have to retain humanity otherwise you can't say their better than the governor.

    ReplyDelete
  13. So, am I the only one who really disliked it that Carol threatened a kid? Skirting the boundaries of being abusive. Would have been understandable if it was someone older but this was a kid.

    ReplyDelete
  14. A little confused on the Rick/Jessie thing? Is he just being creepy or does he like her

    ReplyDelete
  15. He is starting to like her, I feel. Going into the episode I thought it would be creepy but the Rick/Jessie interactions were adorable. Except for that scene where he puts his hand on his gun - that is up for debate.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Where to begin (No Spoilers):
Rick - is becoming the "Governor Select" in training/waiting.
Carol - just might be the "scariest" woman on the Earth!
Daryl - the sole voice of reason (I saw this coming last week. He will side with Michonne against Rick and Carol).
Michonne - the group's (Atlanta 8's) conscience with the lose of Tyrese.
Sasha - PTSD + Sasha = "Neighborhood Sniper"..............which is all bad for the folks of Alexandria.
Carol's "diabolical" scene made this a excellent episode! 4 THE DEAD TO STAY WALKING, I am Nobody!!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Another strong episode. Really loving this back half.

    - Carol's just insane now.
    - Buttons! Bye Buttons...
    - Daryl and Aaron were great. Daryl needs a trusted friend.
    - Abraham's interactions with Michonne were really interesting. Would love to see more of him.
    - Spencer!!!!
    - Glad to see Olivia actually getting some dialogue!
    - Pretty surprised Noah still hasn't run to meet Pete. Guess he's not too pressed about his leg?
    - Glad to see Glenn and Maggie sticking with Noah.
    - That's it: Sasha is officially undoubtedly Andrea now. And that's good.
    - Rick pecking Jessie was... Odd. Reminded me a bit of the Claimers. And then him fingering his gun over seeing Pete with her the next morning...
    - What's with the 'A' stamp? I figure it literally represents their family name, Anderson. Symbolically, A, the Terminus boxcar? But why did Rick (or even Hardwick on Talking Dead) not question it?
    - Love that there's a Morgan Avenue in Alexandria!
    - Michonne hanging up her katana so quickly was slightly jarring, but it makes sense giving her her character is at now. She's ready to just be a constable. Though, that uniform was ridiculous. Did they get it from Party City?
    - Where were Eugene, Tara and Gabriel?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Tobin is a comic character as well right?

    ReplyDelete
  19. I assumed that the 'A' stood for Alexandria.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I love Carol. She's the best.

I am mad they killed off the horse. Plus, they missed a huge opportunity to have Rick ride that horse through town and give a tribute to season one.

I totally understand Sasha's freakout. Plus, these people really are living in a dream world. If the zombies get in and none of these idiots are armed, it will be slaughter, plus most of them wouldn't make it five minutes without survival skills.

Aaron is growing on me. I like him.

Michonne needs to take back that sword. No hanging it up.

Rick definitely wants Jessie. No clue where that's headed, and they better not drop a Rick/Michonne pairing.

Can't wait to see what all this is leading up to.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yes, he is. I can't really remember much of him at the moment, though.

    ReplyDelete
  22. OMG the horse got eaten alive!!! I feel guilty for some reason....like I was right there letting them eat Buttons. #PoorButtons

    ReplyDelete
  23. Tobin is the head of the Construction crew which Abraham takes over from him... here's Tobin's entire History in ASZ: http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/Tobin

    ReplyDelete
  24. Poor Buttons...she is believed to be Still Alive in the comics although she hasnt been seen for alot of years now...check out her history here: http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/Buttons

    ReplyDelete
  25. Anyone catch this? Cool.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I think your point about rick and the horse from season 1 is foreshadowing: things will never return to normal, even if it looks damn close, i.e. rick wearing a uniform again.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Also, if anyone sees Father Gabriel please return to Rick.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I just wanted the tribute. Just seeing Rick riding a horse down Alexandria would have been fun, especially now that he has a new uniform.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I thought it was kinda out of character. She is always the first one to protect kids.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Chris usually says "a special mystery guest." That's the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I dont think we will see both groups in the show...for me they were like the same in the comic, the saviors just bigger one...

    ReplyDelete
  32. Gabriel dude is as useless as he was in the comic...nowhere to be found, just a part of the church subplot...And man, the wolves are moving faaast. First we saw what they did to Noah's place, and now one of the walkers marked by them with the "w" is already near Alexandria. They must be moving fast.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Theory:
What if Deanna was more then a congresswomen in Ohio before the Zombie Apocalypse began.

Alexandria could be a planned community ( think The Barracks / Dharmaville / New Otherton ) of sorts set up by the government in Washington before .... they got wind of a terrorist organization plans to unleash / they themselves unleashed .... a deadly Pathogen on the human race.
Deanna might be a high ranking Washington official.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I can see the chemistry between them, he seems to be really atraccted to her. But this kiss and then scene with him with the gun, watching Jessie with her husband... I kind of thought "oh, Rick don't go there, don't try to woo married woman with children, that's exactly what happend to you once and look how it ended". But on the other hand it would be nice to see him allowing himself such a luxury as a lttle romance.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I liked this episode. Like others, Carol freaked me out a bit with her speech to the boy. While I believe the speech was a little over the top no matter who she said it to, had it been one of the older kids like Carl's age, I would be a little more ok with it.
I'm kind of worried about Darryl. Even though he's doing essentially what Carol asked him to do last week by integrating himself with others, I'm a little scared he's going to go against Rick and the others. Even though he had his crossbow, I was a little bothered that he turned down the gun. Maybe he had a knife or two on himself, but still.

    ReplyDelete
  36. One thing I wished we saw or knew was what everybody's job was. We know Rick and Michonne are the cops. Maggie's in politics. Carol's the nice little baker lady.
What are Abe and Rosita's jobs? Are Glenn, Tara, and Noah actually supply runners or was that just a test by Deanna's son to see what they are made of in last week's episode and if so, what are their actual jobs?
I'm not saying we have to actually see them do their jobs, it just would have been nice to know who got what.

    ReplyDelete
  37. But Daryl has never really been big on guns though...esp that I recall. I worry about him going out to do this recruiting stuff. And I think when Rick finds out that Daryl is doing that that may cause some rift because Rick said they should keep the gates closed

    ReplyDelete
  38. Amy:
Abraham = Construction Crew...we will see him next in 5x14, when his crew runs into trouble with walkers while on the job, this is when he takes over as the Leader of the construction crew over Tobin

Rosita = is working in the Infirmary with the doctors
Eugene = is working with the Polar panels
Gabriel = has his Church, we will see in 5x14

  39. Mandy:...this has No connection to Morgan appearing soon...this is a ACTUAL street name in the town they are filming...☺...

    ReplyDelete
  40. THANK YOU!!! i've always been a Carol fan because i love it when beaten down people become more, but i really hated her in that scene...i was actually disgusted...i understand the predicament they were in but she could've come up with something better than that...

so excited someone else said it whenever i do people think i'm overreacting but she really took it way too far

    ReplyDelete
  41. Ok, kinda like this episode
Carol's speech To the kid was a bit harsh but considerating everything Carol's Been through I guess it was not that odd
I like Rick and his little romance
Was I the Only one to freak out seeing Julian from one tree Hill in this episode (sorry former OTH fan!)

I have this feeling that alexandria is too good to be true ...

    ReplyDelete
  42. I didn't like Carol's intimidation tactics. It's going to bite her in the ass.

I hated the horse scene, just too sad.

Where is Rick going? Oh boy, this should be interesting.

Still can't believe the town is for real.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I didn't like it. She could have handled it different I think. I feel it's going to bust and be a downfalal of sorts.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Except she's married to the guy isn't she? Can't Rick the boat in a new small town like this, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I agree with you. I have since revised my opinion about Rick's actions. He may be attracted to Jessie but to act on it (by kissing her) knowing that she is married and instinctively reach for his gun when he sees her later on with her husband are not the acts of a good and honorable man that we know he is. It feels like he is reacting to his base desires without any thought of consequences and moral boundaries.

I am confused where the writers are taking his story line. At least, in the GN he first became involved in Jessie's life because her husband was very abusive towards her and their son. The relationship between Rick and Jessie came after the business with the husband was settled. Here in the show, for now, there has been no indication of the abuse story line at all.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yeah, that was pointed out to me by others. No idea how that hadn't occurred to me :P

    ReplyDelete
  47. It is getting kind of boring. I don't say the show has to be about nothing but zombie killings, but it is becoming too peaceful for what TWD has accustommed us. I understand they are in a safe zone, so we have no much action. Okay. But in return, we get a focus on Sasha. Really? And I'm hating how the show is leaving behind Glenn and Maggie (Glenn mostly) who used to be major characters. They bearly appeared on screen and just to show they support Noah, another character who, at least for now, doesn't give much to the show.
Anyway, I liked the storylines from Rick, Daryl and Carol. Especially Carol, who is a character that doesn't stop to grow for even a minute. All the time pretending to be "invisible" in Alexandria but then threatening that child, OMG! She's nuts, but I love her!
Good episode, but Alexandria is boring me! Let the Wolves appear, whoever the hell they are, and bring chaos to the show!

  48. You didn't have to say what happens in the next episode.

    ReplyDelete
  49. my reply was to Amy not you.... But listen, we are in a SPOILER site so if u dont to see any Spoilers then dont read the comments...plain & simple.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Way to rain on a parade...LoL...but still I think when they showed up to the town they made a point to get this in the show. I miss Morgan!

    ReplyDelete
  51. sorry to rain on ur parade, lol...but dont worry, we will see Morgan in the Finale...we just had to wait for him to catch up to Rick, remember he's been Weeks behind all season...☺...

    ReplyDelete
  52. I also didn't like it. It was a tense, well acted scene, but really out of character. I thought that maybe once the kid went she would burst into tears. That would have shown that she was just doing what she had to do and hated herself for doing it, but as it stands, that was just child abuse.

    ReplyDelete
  53. She would have left Ed if she would be "the first one to protect kids".

    ReplyDelete
  54. This was the best Carol scene ever. It's a good thing for that kid when he learns how dangerous the world outside of this walls is.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Yeah, it's lame they are taking so long for us to see him again. The pay off better be worth it. And the more I read/watch articles about this episode people to seem to think this was another AMC easter egg. LoL So I don't know what to think about the sign. I know that is been a lot of call backs to Dale and that Glenn is been in both call backs so is it bad news for Glenn?

    ReplyDelete
  56. I think I squealed when he showed up, I didn't know he was going to be on the show.

    ReplyDelete
  57. - Leave it up to Carol to turn an offer of a new batch of cookies into a horrifying threat. That was just cold and I loved every second of it.
    - I can't help but feel they are starting to lay the groundwork for Daryl's homosexuality, should TPTB decide go go down that route.
    - More of Aaron please. This show could use all the humor it can get.
    - I think Rick is losing his mind. There's something about him that seemed very off in this episode.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Mandy:...u have to remember that Lennie James(Morgan) is a Actor that's very much in Demand... he's always so Busy...so we are hoping once he lands in ASZ, he will stay with the group for a very long time...much longer then he did in the comics, lol...

and dont worry bout Glenn, im pretty sure he's Not Dying anytime soon... unlike the rumors going around that he's dying in the Finale...in fact im pretty sure No Major characters are Dying in the Finale...maybe 1 or 2 minor ones(Noah or Tara)... like Daryl just said in a interview "to bring ur tissues for the Finale", lol...im sure No Major ones will Die...

tell me, what is this Sign?, u said that was a Easter Egg?...are u talking bout the "W" that Daryl & Rick found on that walker?...if so, Yes, that's a sign that The Wolves are Near and we will see them in the Finale...☺...

This is actually more of a TV news and discussion website, and, though there's always the risk of spoilers on other websites like that, I rarely see spoilers on this site.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Hmmm, interesting this site is called "SpoilerTV"...and did u Not see this HUGE Spoiler for TWD epi 5x13?

    http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/03/the-walking-dead-episode-513-forget_8.html

    ReplyDelete
  61. The site is called that, but it's kind of a misnomer. Like I said before, I rarely see spoilers here, and the main reason for that is because the spoiler news stories are clearly marked as such, and this site's team does their best to keep spoilers separate from episode discussions like this one. I didn't see that huge spoiler for this weeks episode because I saw the title of that story and didn't read it; it's actually very easy to navigate this site without see any spoilers. I've never come to this site to read spoilers, and I am hardly ever let down in that regard, and it's usually my own fault when it happens.

    ReplyDelete
  62. i suggest u stay out of my way...cause it seems we are the complete opposites ...i LOVE Spoilers and im a Spoiler Addict and ur Not... so u can skip over all my comments here cause they will ALL have Spoilers.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Stay out of your way? I think that's a little over-dramatic, you didn't even spoil anything for me.
