  1. Dark Steroline! I'm really going to enjoy this!

Even with Stefan confessing his feelings, my favorite part has to be:

“I compelled a student to perform surgery on Stefan`s niece and you found a way to made it about you. God, you truly have a gift, Elena.”

HELL. YES. It's about time someone called Elena out on her bullshit.

Can she just stay this way as long as she keeps calling out Elena? I'm fine with that.

  3. Only thing love about this episode was Bonnie and her telling and showing Damon what it felt like with Kai and being alone in that prison world

    ReplyDelete
  4. OMG!!!! I loved it!!!! Caroline was fun. I was loving every scene with her. She was hilarious. And it really was weird to see her like that. She was in control. That was weird. Lol And can I just say, I'M SO GLAD SARAH IS ALIVE!!! Elena finally did something right saving Sarah.

I really liked Bonnie's scenes. I was waiting to see what she'd do next. Actually, I'm ready to see her explode some more. And her telling off/torturing Damon, now that's the Bonnie, I can possibly get around to liking. The take no shit Bonnie.

Enzo is ridiculously useless. All his scenes with Sarah made me roll my eyes. When he purposely changed his eyes as she snapped pictures, I literally said, "What a dick." I gotta say, I like Sarah. I knew she wouldn't be too "shocked" about the whole vampire thing. She was so mellow about it. Makes me think what she's been through during her life that Stefan doesn't know about.

Damon and Kai. I swear I could enjoy them more if..WE GOT KAI BACK!! I mean I love both of them on my screen, but ugh! The dialog would be Sooo much better between them if Kai was his past self. Ohhh but my baby. Do I feel Sooo bad for him. When he dropped to the floor after Kai revealed news about his mother, my heart sank. Damnnn so Lily was a Ripper. Well guess we know where Stefan gets it. Didn't think that was hereditary. = / I'll be damned. She killed 3,000 people. That's a shitload of people. Damn. Now I wonder why the Gemini Coven felt the need to take care of her. I mean there's other covens out there. Why them? Can't wait for that connection.

Saving the best for last- STEROLINE!! Omggg, they killed me tonight! I lovvvedddd the way Stefan went up to her with shots. He was giving her his flirty face. And she was totally blushing. I loved his speech. And the hand touch and the "Come back" was. GAH!!! It was so close! I knew it wouldn't help. But I didn't expect her to react as strongly as she did. She really does love him. Sighhh. My Steroline heart is torn! And that ending scene was badass. But this needs to end. By next week! I need them to come back together. Can't believe Stefan asked Elena to bring him back. ELENA! HA!! I hope that was code for, Hey get Damon to bring me back!! Hmmm, idk I still want to go with my theory and say Stefan is pretended to have his switch off.

Great job Ian! Seriously loved the lighting trick you did with Caroline. That was a nice touch.

  5. I absolutely loved it. For me the best episode in a long time. Bonnie is beyond angry, Damon's got ripper mommy issues, Kai feels bad, Caroline just wants to have some fun and now Stefan has joined in, albeit, unwillingly. Can't wait for next week!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Amazing episodes. Dark Caroline! I Love Rippah Stefan!!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Haha Hahahaha omg we have the same favorite scene. I CRACKED UP! With that line. Right before Caroline said that, and Elena started talking, I said, "STOP TALKING ELENA". And then Caroline just came out with that and I died.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Wow, great episode. Loved everything Caroline did. I especially loved the scene of evil Caroline sitting in the bar, luring Sarah to her doom nicely framed and lit.

Loved the Bonnie/Damon stuff, totally on Bonnie's side. Damon was being to total selfish DBag.

Kai looked really good in the coat, great cut had amd European/Victorian look to it. Meanwhile Enzo's hair looked funny. I'm really over Enzo he's boring now, Kai is way more fun (villain wise).

  9. Predictable, exactly what everyone was saying in social networks. :/

    ReplyDelete
  10. This episode was salvaged by Bonnie and to a certain extent, by Damon and Kai. After all the buzz about Caroline turning off her feelings,.... in the end, I found it more annoying than fun to watch....and also predictable. The far more fascinating personality change was with Bonnie and the effect that being in the prison world had on her. Great acting from Kat, and her scenes with Damon (when they were talking on the phone) and later, when she was trying to make him feel her pain were my the best parts of the hour. I also liked the scenes with Kai and Damon and the story of his mother. Watching Damon's pain after Bonnie screamed at him (although she had every right to), followed by the news about his mother. was just heartwrenching.

I guess I hadn't predicted Stefan turning off his emotions (couldn't he just have pretended to do it?). He's always entertaining without his emotion, but I'm not sure if I can handle watching both him and Caroline going off the rails together. Interesting that he knew Elena could bring him back. Also, Elena's reaction to Stefan turning off his emotions was interesting (she was far more upset than I would have expected). For a moment, I wondered if this could be the start of Elena falling for Stefan again.

Poor Sarah....and Liam....that scene was awful...Someone get those two some vervain. I'm tired of Liam being compelled to do things...and forget things.

Thank you writers for not making us have to watch Caroline sleep with Enzo. I'm still recovering from the sex-with-Klaus-in the woods scene.

  11. I'm not a huge Elena fan, but I really didn't see it as Elena making things about herself. To me, it sounded more like a case of Plec channeling the fan-boards. I actually really liked Elena in this episode.

    ReplyDelete
  12. no No NO none humanity Stefan & Caroline ( Spike & Drusilla 2.0 ) are the BEST thing to have happened to TVD in years. These two need to stick around for the remainder of the season and long into season seven.

    ReplyDelete
  13. You're on a site called "SpoilerTV". It was predictable because you have people giving out spoilers that color your speculation.

It's a bad criticism for the most part anyway because fiction needs to make sense. If you know "A" and "B", you should be able to work out "C".

    ReplyDelete
  14. HA! Definitely not. They are very fun. But I don't want this for them. I want it over by episode 18.

    ReplyDelete
  15. God, I've loved this one overall... Ian's style is really special, very much into heavy visuals, to a point where it's borderline cheesy, but not quite so, like a Quentin Tarantino movie, LOL... Also feeling like he may be quite a feminist since this episode was all about the ladies, Candice and Kat totally killed it...
Loving the Bonnie and Clyde steroline, bamon scenes were spectacular (go go go, badass Bonnie! if Damon doesn't save you soon I feel like you might go very dark and good luck getting Bonnie back then) and Elena wasn't too much of a focus, so that was great... If we got episodes like that all the time it may get a little cheesy eventually but PLEASE, let Ian direct once in a while, it's so refreshing. Not to mentioning that all the storylines seems utterly amazing now - an unheard of thing in the TVD universe...

P.S.: Elena's toast with Bonnie was so... like oh my goodness, Elena, you are really getting worse and worse at this, aren't you?

P.S.2: For some reason I thought it would be a great idea to keep drinking bourbon during watching the episode, that it would be stylish and all, and I ended up being a LITTLE more buzzed than I anticipated, so if I'm sounding weird, I'm just sorry, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  16. To each their own but I personal want 'evil' Stefan & Caroline around for a very VERY long timet o come.

    ReplyDelete
  17. You're right, that's the problem of TVD, there is no expectation, you can guess most of the episode so they say in the interviews. Other series generate expectations and aren't predictable despite spoilers.

    ReplyDelete
  18. surprised that Enzo WOULDN'T sleep with Caroline, i guess he DOES have feelings for her

    ReplyDelete
  19. which part? :D

    ReplyDelete
  20. Damon's mom is a Ripper?!!!!!!!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!! and she killed over 3,000 people?!!!! that's insane!!!!!!!!!!! i guess being a Ripper IS hereditary WHOA!!!!! poor Damon, aw i don't want Damon and Bonnie to fight. It's good to know that Kai's still in there

    ReplyDelete
  21. Definitely agree about Ian's visuals. I thought they were dramatic in the fun way.

I honestly feel like they're gently phasing out Elena. I'm beginning to wonder if Nina really is coming back next season.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I can't remember the last time I had so much FUN watching a TVD episode. The Bamon scenes were incredible and Caroline's hostage taking was nuts! Loved Ian's visuals too. I thought it was awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Right? Like it may not be best episode objectively, but it was fun, different (in a good way) and IMHO set us on a good and very enjoyable path for the rest of the season...

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ha, hereditary. So Damon got her looks and Stefan got her ripper-ness?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Ripper of Monterrey is back....

    ReplyDelete
  26. seems like, geez 3,000 thousand people how the hell is that even possible?! i'm surprised there's no legend about her like stefan being called The Ripper of Monterey

    ReplyDelete
  27. yep, like mother like son, that's crazy

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yep! I'm so happy there are no more breaks till the finale. In the words of a wise person: the shit hath hitith the fan...ith.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I guess Stefan got the Ripper genes and Damon got the serial killer genes. There's nothing like the roll of the genetic dice!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yeah, I'm also wondering about that... But frankly if I should pick one of the three that I would mind the least to lose, it would be Elena, so... I would still prefer if all of them stayed, but if Nina wants to go, it's easier for me to handle than is Paul/Ian decided to go...

    ReplyDelete
  31. wow what a fantastic episode!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I really wish they would just make Elena likeable again, or at least give her back her backbone. Nina seems done with this show and as much as I'm loving this season, I don't blame her. Her character isn't getting any meaty storylines.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Killing one person a day kept the doctor away from her? *shrugs*

It's very possible to kill 3,000 people. To do it without anyone noticing though, now that's a trick.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Excellent episode, especially because Bonnie was so AWESOME 2NITE (like she always is)!
    Where to begin:
    1) Kai - I prefer "Evil Kai", but "Descent Kai" is pretty entertaining too!
    2) Damon - so the "Mystic Falls Bad Boy" has mommy issues...............SHOCKER!
    3) Bonnie - losers don't touch her, because she is literally on "fire"! Fools don't mess with Bonnie, because pissing her off means feeling her "PAIN"..............Damon!
    4) Elena - no matter what's going on she always get's her "pound of flesh".............just ask Caroline.
    5) Stefan - poor guy/vamp just can't catch a break, but if we can't have Kat or Nadia then "Bizarro Stefan" will do just fine.
    6) Caroline - I know this storyline is a "train wreck" waiting to happen in "slow - motion", but I am really feeling "Bizarro Caroline" aka "Bizaroline"! Who thinks (Ni)Klaus would approve?
    7) Enzo - my fingers are crossed that "bad storyline" Enzo is over (talking to you, Jules) and "charmingly evil" Enzo is only a episode away (talking to you again, Jules). His scenes with Sarah and Caro reminded me of the "old/real" Enzo (still talking to you, Jules).
BECAUSE DIARIES ARE STILL 4 READING, I will remain Nobody!!!

Stefan switching off his humanity annoys me because it'll have an predictable outcome. Stefan will do some bad things in his switch-off mode. Then his humanity is switched back on which leads to Stefan being guilt-ridden and trying to make up for what he did. If Season 6 was the final season, this storyline could take the risk of taking this version of Stefan to the point of no return.

    ReplyDelete
  36. LOL but yeah i guess when you kill everyone on sight, there's no witnesses, CRAZY woman

    ReplyDelete
  37. hey in hindsight, serial killer's better than Ripper LOL

    ReplyDelete
  38. actually there's another break

    ReplyDelete
  39. isn't decent good?

    ReplyDelete
  40. come on you know it's not off

    ReplyDelete
  41. I know it sounds weird but I have to give the nod to serial killer too!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Poor Damon. His mother's a Ripper, his brother is a Ripper again, and Bonnie is mad at him.

Enzo still needs to go. And I could care less about Sarah.

I like Kai and Damon's scenes together.

And that's about it. I agree with those who are bored by the humanity flipping. But at least it's not more doppelgangers. That would be far worse.

    ReplyDelete
  43. You think?!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I was afraid I might have to say about Ian's directing "don't quit your day job", but wow, wow, wow!! I think he did a great job emphasizing the contrast between Damon, Bonnie, Caroline and Stefan's usual behavior and now. I liked his visuals and camera angles too.

This was maybe the darkest episode of TVD ever, like "edge of your seat as the horror unfolds" dark. Candice gave me the creeps, in fact sometimes she really horrified me - she's far better than Elena was with her emotions turned off. Stefan was more alive in this episode than he has been all season, and did some nice sarcastic humor. I'm giving Ian credit for waking Paul up and turning him loose. Bonnie shockingly convinced me she's losing it and made me afraid for her. Will Damon help or be too distracted by his mama? (I'd be distracted if I found out my late mom wasn't really "late", but was a ripper vampire who killed 3,000 people before being imprisoned). Damon for once couldn't hide his crushing pain over his mom and Bonnie - such powerful scenes.

Liam was barely OK; there's only so much a director can do with that actor. Enzo was disappointing and unnecessarily there, at least this week. Poor Sarah seems like she's there just to be a victim. I was hoping she and Enzo would fall for each other; at least then there would be some reason for them being on the show. And Kai - although I liked him better as a total psychopath I really liked his scenes with Damon. It was an interesting change for him to spout the snark and Damon to be dead serious. I like his new facial fuzz too!

Is it even necessary for me to say I LOVED this episode? Bravo to all!

  45. I wonder if the 14% of people who rated "The Downward Spiral" "AWFUL" watched the same show I did?

    ReplyDelete
  46. the buzzed part ha!

  47. johnsonsphotos0613 March 2015 at 04:44

i have a really strong feeling Stefan is putting on an act and didn't really flip off his switch. he could of easily shut his eyes and then opened them and pretended. if he really liked Caroline he would know he is the only chance she had to have her humanity back so i think he's faking it and then is going to get in her head by beating her at her own game and then will whiplash his feelings at her. explaining the make out session in new promo... just my thoughts! :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. i hope people don't confuse a Ripper vampire with a no humanity vampire, because they are VERY different

    ReplyDelete
  49. finally someone that doesn't buy that stefan's "undercover"

    ReplyDelete
  50. Wow, the directing was brilliant. I didn't think Ian had it in him but...he surprised me. There was a distinct personality to the episode that I enjoyed so damn much. Well done sir!
+I always hated Caroline but I LOVE Humanity-less Caroline. And I have always loved ripper Stefan. So unlike those who hated this twist, I enjoyed it...A lot.
+Damon screwed up with Bonnie...But boy did I feel sorry for him when he finally realized the truth about his mom.
+ Is Elena still the protagonist? She mostly sounds like a side character.
+ Kai is delightful to watch.
+Go Bonnie! I love this changed badass Bonnie. Very much.
+Who picked the songs for the episode? I do admit, by the end of the episode I almost had a headache but my God the song choices were brilliant. I ususally don't recognize the songs they play on TVD, because they're usually indie or new artists but I recognized many songs in this episode...Nice!
+Mama Salvatore storyline is a big plus. I wish they could move Sarah's storyline too. It's about damn time Damon figured out.
    Overall a 9/10

    ReplyDelete
  51. johnsonsphotos0613 March 2015 at 05:08

wait what do you mean "someone that doesn't buy that he's undercover"? i think stefan is pretending to be out of control to get under her skin. i don't think he's actually gone.. I'm confused lol

    ReplyDelete
  52. That's the problem. They give out too much. They hinted everything that happened on this episode and I could predict them all but they didn't breathe a word about the Mama Salvatore twist and I do admit I didn't see it coming. The episode could've been unpredictable if Julie hadn't realized the "benefit" of spoiler (she once said in the beginning she hated spoilers-thus the unpredictability of earlier seasons...said now she enjoys them...thus...well you know.)

    ReplyDelete
  53. That was a hell of a comeback, one the best episodes ever.
That final shot with Stefan and CArolien was EPIC. I wonder if Elena will still be Step`han's trigger now that he doesnt love her like before.
Like mother like son right?. Now we know why Stephan has ripper tendencies. lol.
Bonnie and Damon were absolutely great in this episode. Bonnie showing how ir felt or a little part of what she felt and Damon worried about WTH happened to hsi mom and also to his friend.
    Yeah i liked it.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Bwahahaa, ah Ian, your age is showing. That "rave" was so 90's. Was it just me or did Kai get noticeably hotter this episode? Must be the overcoat thing. Elijah was rocking a pretty sexy one on The Original's this week as well.

Not feeling the emotionless Caroline story, but whatevs. Thought it was weird that Stefan blamed himself for her flipping her switch. I mean it sucks that he couldn't be honest with her, but let's get real here, losing her mom is the primary reason she flipped*

Luckily Kai, Bonnie and Damon saved the episode. I wish they had their own show, something Three's Company like, except with road trips to IHops for vampire pancakes. I'd watch the sh*t out of that. My DVR would be filled with episodes of that and Vampire BookClub**

Also why is Kai so weak these days. Is it the Luke thing?

*Actually contrived storytelling is the real reason, but again... whatevs.
    **Really really want Vampire Bookclub

P.S. Look I don't particularly ship Stefan and Elena, but I gotta admit I did smile a bit when he told her to bring him back. Plus emotionless Stefan is so much fun.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I loved it, but I would because Caroline is my favourite character. As for why Stefan asked Elena to bring him back who else was he going to ask? She was already on the phone, and he was losing time as Sarah was about to die. It's not like he could've stolen his phone back off Caroline, hung up on Elena and called Damon to explain Sarah Salvatore's existence, what was going on and why he had to switch off his humanity all before Liam killed Sarah.

    ReplyDelete
  56. right?! that was pretty meta when Caroline said that

  58. Yeah, that was really daft - they could've had Elena actually making it about herself and then call her out on it.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Yeah, pretty much everything was given out. Although that may be true only for the people who read the interviews and watch the sneak peeks, somebody who doesn't may have been surprised.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Omg, I thought I was the only one not raving about the rave - although it was still better than the Teen Wolf rave with the chemistry teacher.

Bonkaimon at IHops? I'd watch that.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Hahahaha exactly. Like that message wasn't for her, that was to be passed down to Damon. It was a message not a demand. I mean she was the only one he could get in touch with at that moment, (and he had to make it look real) there was no "deeper meaning" to that. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  62. I do think that he did turn it off though. But I was having a bit of a laugh earlier when I was reading around the net that people thought it meant that Elena was then Stefan's trigger to turn his humanity back on, and even if that's the case it was Matt that caused Elena to turn her humanity back on, so does that mean Elena is in love with Matt?

    ReplyDelete
  63. But Elena wasn't the trigger for Stefan to turn it back on. He fought compulsion for Elena to keep his humanity on but once he shut it off, Elena's efforts couldn't bring him. Stefan's trigger was Damon.
If he did turn it off this time, I hope his trigger would be Damon or his mother. Not Caroline. Not Elena.

    ReplyDelete
  64. A bit of a laugh? I was GASPING for breath! That's hysterical. Smh. And no, the emotional trigger doesn't have to do with who you're "in love" with, it has to do with the person that means the most to you.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I agree with this, it's just funny what people sometimes use to justify their shipper preference. I love steroline but I do want Damon to be Stefan's trigger to turn it on, as for Caroline I would rather it be someone like Matt or Bonnie.

    ReplyDelete
  66. the thing i don't get is, what'd she do to her hair? did she get it wet or is it some weird version of cornrows?

    ReplyDelete
  67. I fairly enjoyed it. I wasn't sure how H-less Caroline would look like but it was refreshing and the storytelling was solid as well.
Stefan "turning off" his humanity was predictable after those interviews and teasers but never see it coming this way.
Using Liam was a good idea.
Bonnie was killing it last night.
Enzo got a bit less annoying and not such a pain in my as*.
Wait a minute wasn't Alaric a series regular? Where the F is he?
Who will survive that next 4 week break?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Watching Teen Wolf raves always give me a headache...I just can't stand dubstep.-_-
This one was ok though. Seeing Elena's face during the rave scenes were fun.LOL

    ReplyDelete
  69. I certainly don't ship Stefan and Elena (I prefer Stefan and Caroline), but I still picked up on more Stelena "moments" than I had in a very long time! Part of it was the way he told Elena to bring him back.. Yes, she was his only option, but I don't think he would have phrased it that way to anyone else, except, Damon or a normal Caroline, so it was a reminder of their strong connection. But what was even more interesting ,was Elena's intense reaction to Stefan switching off his humanity.....she sounded more invested in Stefan's well-being than I would have expected (it didn't sound like fear to me). Stefan and Elena have had other close interactions this season, but this one just seemed different. The writers have this annoying tendency of teasing the various shipping groups, so even if nothing happens those two, I still think that they deliberately wanted the viewers to pick up on something.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Damon's to do list:
1.Release Ripper Mama Salvatore from prison
    2.Handle a Ripper Stefan. Again.
3.Handle a very very distraught and stressed Bonnie
    4. Handle no-humnaity Caroline since stefan has gone off the rails (Maybe...or he's faking it)
5.Handle an obsessed Enzo and the niece situation
6.Handle Kai if he becomes a problem.
He's gonna need a drink...Where's Ric when he's needed anyway?-_-

    ReplyDelete
  71. loved the ending with the humanity-less Steroline

    ReplyDelete
  72. A+ direction Ian-Loved every single minute of it.I have to give it up for the amazing cinematography this episode-every scene was wonderfully shot-caroline has never looked better & more hotter before now!
    Now onto the episode itself-
1.Caroline-Another episode, another slay for Candice. She was simply marvellous this episode.I always knew she was a good actress but she truly proved her mettle with this one! This version of caroline can stay as long as possible-the fact that she calculated her every move meticulously and using her brain unlike what we've seen until now was fun.She even called on elena about her incessant need to make everything about her-Pure gold!I'm really surprised she used liam instead of eating him.
2.Stefan-It was fairly evident from the beginning that he would flip his humanity switch by the episode end,so that wasn't a surprise.However-emotion less caroline & ripper stefan can be a deadly combo-so looking forward for it.Who knows-maybe this is what was needed for me to jump the steroline train!
3.Bonnie-Her outburst towards damon at the end was so heartbreaking.I loved her phone call to jeremy at the end.Poor damon had no idea she was struggling so much and unknowingly made it worse!Kai better watch it-who looked yummy today-that coat and facial hair-woof!
4.Damon-It was tragic when he learned her mother wasn't in the coffin all this time and everything he knew about her was a complete lie.Add ripper to the list-poor him!How will he tel his brother about his mother now?
5.Eno-sarah-Enzo rejected caroline-Okay,didn't expect that!Still waiting for his storyline to make some sense, maybe soon!
Favorite quote-1.Caroline to Liam-The guy who i totally forgot existed-Ouch!
2.Bonnie-Can't help it,i'm hot! Or,The next i see you,i'll melt your face off! Damn,You go girl.

  73. LOL boy has a busy schedule all right

    ReplyDelete
  74. I hope this feeling I have is soooooooooooooooo off...and wrong.. but I'm getting some weird vibe that Kai is gonna want to get with Bonnie.. I don't know where its coming from but I can't shake it....

    ReplyDelete
  75. same feeling, she's been on his mind ever since he merged

    ReplyDelete
  76. Awesome episode, but i don't think i like the new Bonnie.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Wasn't that pretty obvious by now?

    ReplyDelete
  78. She finally stop being a matyr and started caring about herself-what's so wrong in that?Cut her some slack,my friend!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Since we all know chris is going to Cordon,my bet is bonnie will kill kai in the season finale-mark my words!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Yeah she cares about herself yet, she acts not like a selfish person, but more like psycho.

    ReplyDelete
  81. TBH,i really wish jeremy would be here now to help her through it.She's struggling so much, poor girl!

    ReplyDelete
  82. I hope you're right. That would actually be more interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  83. yep exactly right, it's pretty obvious he still has his humanity on

  84. just watched extended promo again and i think stefan hesitated while drinking blood so he may be pretending and may be sex will happen after he gets caroline's humanity back....

    ReplyDelete
  85. Yeah, but Jeremy was never very good at helping himself. Then he decided on a full-time career as a vampire hunter to give his life purpose. Not sure that's helping.

    ReplyDelete
  86. What you said!

    ReplyDelete
  87. LOL!I guess that's true. It's just hard to see her like this and when you have a friend like Elena, that's hell alone!

    ReplyDelete
  88. Well,....I thought Caroline looked pretty. Normally when I see hair like that I can’t stop thinking ‘ dirty hair! dirty hair!’ but it did look good on her, even tho it looked dirty...otherwise I found her more annoying than entertaining. She had a few good moments but one ep of no humanity Caroline is enough, thanks. For the most part I don’t search out spoilers, so I don’t know what has been leaked, what’s been hinted and what we outright know, but my first impression is that Stefan is faking his off switch. Mostly because watching him turn it back on has been done a few times now and another round would just be repetitive. But either way, I think some good storylines can come from this.

Ok, I don’t blame Bonnie for being pissed at Damon, but I’m pissed at the writers for making him bring Kia to her! Come on!!! I love the Damon and Bonnie friendship, please don’t throw one of the best things on TVD away!! *gasps* I just had a thought….after reading a comment where someone suggested Nina not returning next season…that would leave Damon single….I could totally get on board a Damon and Bonnie ship if Elena was a goner…Anyway, I love their scenes together, they have great chemistry, I hope TVD doesn’t divide them again, they are so much fun together.

I also have embraced that I am a bad boy fan. (Except Enzo, he’s annoying) I like them. They're my favourite. I can’t stop. (honestly tho, I don’t want to *winks*) I like Kia, he’s funny, charming, creepy, unpredictable and has great chemistry with Damon (who doesn’t, really??) I liked him before the merge, but I like him better now (so far). The whole evil-with-a-concious is humorous IMO. I think he’s faking some of his niceness. And he’s manipulating Damon with info on his mom to get to Bonnie cause he probably needs her magic….

I’m looking forward to meeting Momma Salvator….. :D

    I missed Ric…

Ian did a great job directing, some of the shots were kinda cool (I liked the shot of Caroline on the bar)

    ReplyDelete
  89. I thought of that too but I hope it's not in the cards. It's like the victim falling for their torturer; it's a survival response and it happens. But I'd like to see Bon Bon come out of this a stronger woman, not a weaker one. Kai is trying to be better not of his own choice but because he absorbed some of Luke's better nature (surprise, surprise - he had one!). Not everybody gets the chance to be redeemed, deserving or not.

    ReplyDelete
  90. I think Caroline's hair got messier as she got more into being without her humanity - an outward symbol of her inside messiness.

I think one reason Damon (Ian) has chemistry with just about everyone is because he's loaded with charisma - a gift, not something you can learn - and whenever Ian acts opposite someone he is totally present and engaged with them. It's called good acting.

I'm convinced Stefan isn't faking turning off his humanity. The last thing he said to Elena was "Bring me back - don't forget to bring me back". Caroline wouldn't fall for his faking it anyway, IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  91. I think Bonnie is suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. Who wouldn't?

    ReplyDelete
  92. didn't she absorb the power of her ancestor and the power of Silas as well off of some tombstone or something... that ancestor was pretty bad ass powerful and nuts to boot...

    ReplyDelete
  93. Michele Klinger13 March 2015 at 14:01

I loved it, and I haven't been saying that too often about TVD this season. Caroline without her humanity was nuts, and now shes got Stefan to turn off his! I can't wait to see how that plays out

    ReplyDelete
  94. way to ruin the only interesting development this season
    ripper mom.. what a bore

    ReplyDelete
  95. I dont mind ripper Stefan at least he's not boring. but Caroline NO.

    ReplyDelete
  96. VERY predictable. some more predictions:
Lily turned Enzo because she took pity on him when she saw him dying of consumption in Europe.
Bonnie grabbed the cure from Silas' thomb and brought it back with her.

    ReplyDelete
  97. OMG I´ve always hated Caroline but I am LOVING her new self, can she stay like this forever? And now that Stefan´s shut it off, they can make Steroline interesting and not boring and fored and all that. Loved the episode.
I feel bad for Damon, it´s only taken an episode for his friendship with Bonnie to go to hell, god, they really want Damon to suffer ughh.
Not sure how I feel about this ripper mom, let´s see how it turns out.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Yep. Still, I regret nothing :P Bourbon is such a great companion drink for the show (apart from being awesome on its own)...

    ReplyDelete
  99. True, very true. At this point she only has the delena storyline, nothing else... Even the memory loss was just a part of the delena SL. If she's staying then I hope she can get finally get something to

    oh ya. ok thanks :)

Ya. I think he has come so far since the ripper days and will never go back again. He is smarter than the fandom thinks lol

    ReplyDelete
  102. johnsonsphotos0613 March 2015 at 16:17

i agree that if he did have his humanity off, damon is the trigger. but I'm telling you guys, i really think he didn't actually do it. we'll see next week lol ;)

    ReplyDelete
  103. johnsonsphotos0613 March 2015 at 16:17

its a weird version of cornrows lol

    ReplyDelete
  104. God point about Caroline...I didn't think about it being a reflection of her inner turmoil.

And I agree about Ian. 100%.

As for Stefan, I think they will portray his character as turned off so convincingly that we will all believe he is until the moment he reveals he didn't. But the lengths he will have to go to convince Caroline will have a lasting effect on him. I'm probably wrong, but between the two choices (watching him with no humanity only to struggle to get it back for, like, the third time, or watching him fake it until it changes him...maybe helps him to control his vampirism) the latter is more appealing to me.

    ReplyDelete
  105. "I think Damon (Ian) has chemistry with just about everyone is because he's loaded with charisma - a gift, not something you can learn - and whenever Ian acts opposite someone he is totally present and engaged with them. It's called good acting."

While I agree about Ian being loaded with charisma and having great chemistry with everybody, IMHO his chemistry with Kat is really exceptional and it's also very visible that they do have the same acting style, because every scene between them is just pure magic at this moment (and I'm not saying this just as a shipper), all that subtle work that both of them put into every grimace, changes of tone of the voice etc., it gives some incredible depth to it. And IMHO at least the way Ian is playing him, Damon surely looks more "at home" and happier with Bonnie than with Elena now (that phone call! *squealing* ). Like he clearly loves Elena and there is passion between them, but he also seems much happier and himself with Bonnie...
TL;DR - if Nina really is leaving, then bamon just definitely became endgame...

    ReplyDelete
  106. IMHO Jeremy would have just made everything worse, he was never a true support for Bonnie. And if he then made something stupid and reckless again that would hurt her even more... Good thing that he's gone.

And yeah, Elena also has a great potential to ruin everything even more (something about those Gilberts, huh?), so it seems clear that the only person who can help her right now is Damon. I mean she clearly has more trust in him than anyone else, which was also shown nicely with that phone call - she was having a panic attack but then when he called, she instantly calmed down.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Awesome episode! I'm lookIng forward to seeing dark Steroline. I loved the last scene with Caroline over the counter and Stefan drinking that weird drink.
Damon deserved what Bonnie did to him. Bonnie didn't want to see Kai and despite that Damon didn't listen to her because of his own selfish reasons. He has done that with Alaric too. I really like Damon but he needs to learn a couple of things about friendship. I hope Bonnie will forgive him eventually because I love these two as friends.
It's funny that Lily is a Ripper like Stefan. Now we know why Stefan is such a bad vampire. Simple genetics!

    ReplyDelete
  108. "He's gonna need a drink..." Damon is pretty much of a lush anyway (the excuse being that alcohol - lots of alcohol apparently - reduces blood cravings) but oddly enough, and correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think he had a single drink in this episode.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Watched it again. Stefan's last words to Elena were "Bring me back". I'm going with he really did turn his humanity off.

    ReplyDelete
  110. If I'm not mistaken then she has Qetsiyah's magic right now (from the tombstone), which is very powerfull on its own, then she's going to take her ow magic back from Miss Cuddles... That is hell lot of magic. If she was to add Kai's magic to it, she might have too much magic to not go nuts...

    ReplyDelete
  111. I'm really loving these Bamon scenes this season. For a non-romantic couple, they sure have a lot of chemistry together!Who knew?

    ReplyDelete
  112. I think he might want that (got that vibe too) but there is no way in hell he'll succeed :) If anything, it will just add up to the rest of the chaos.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Aw, give Damon a break! He usually acts first and thinks later but after all it's his mother, and he's as unraveled as we've ever seen him. I wouldn't say that was selfish, it was terribly poor judgement. But I have to admit I'd put my mom first too.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Exactly, they are the absolute highlight of this season for me. And I remember a poll here before the season began about whether people would want them to ever be a couple or not, and more than 30% people actually liked the idea. And I was like "no way this could ever work, no way... they will be good friends at best and that's how it should be"... and now I'm a bamon shipper, LOL... so yes, it has been an incredible journey with these two :)

And Ian and Kat have such an incredible chemistry, also the way how both of them give everything into every scene and have the same acting style... All the subtlety they give into every grimace, every look or a smile... I don't use the word "magical" very often, but their scenes lately deserve it.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Bonnie's outburst this episode had me in tears, such great acting.Too bad the ratings are at an all time low!

    ReplyDelete
  116. Absolutely. I love how this scene showed just how amazing actress Kat is, Ian really let her shine in this episode. I've replayed both this scene and the phone call scene over and over...

I so much hope that it adjusts up, it would be so incredibly unfair to everyone if this episode of all should have the series low :(

    ReplyDelete
  117. Yes, when Kai told him the truth about his mother I felt sorry for him. That's enough punishment.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I just realized this episode really upped almost every character involved (well, apart from Elena, but that seems to be quite a lost cause now). Every character got at least some moment where they were able to be badass, intriguing or vulnerable, a highlight and character development, without it feeling unnatural. And completely agree on Candice and Kat, they were both incredible here.

Now if this isn't some of the best possible directing, I don't know what is...

    ReplyDelete
  119. Even Enzo was much less annoying this episode.LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  120. I thought you like him, LOL. But agreed, he a) was rather enjoyable here and b) showed that there is more to him by rejecting dark Car...

    ReplyDelete
  121. Oh,i'm obsessed with both the character & the actor but while watching the episode,i try to remain as much neutral as possible!LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  122. I see :D But it's weird to me how many people hate the character and wish he would leave - yes, he is a bit of an asshole and sadly his storyline doesn't completely make sense now but I've always loved him, perhaps partially BECAUSE he's and ass and isn't ashamed of it, LOL. It's really refreshing with most of the bad guys being quickly redeemed and ads variety to the mix. Plus Enzo constantly has some of the coolest lines:

Caroline: What took you so long to answer your phone?
Enzo: My fingers were covered in blood and the touchscreen wouldn't work.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Well, most of them probably don't even bother to watch the show anymore and just troll the polls...

    ReplyDelete
  124. wow... I forgot about Mr. Cuddles... I wonder if they'll go that route.. I hope so.... I'd like to see a tougher bad ass Bonnie... makes me think of a spin off with her and Damon... fighting evil together.... lol

    ReplyDelete
  125. Huh...He actually did. But I had to rewatch the episode to notice it. When Kai returned to the Salvatore boarding house after Bonnie's outburst to inform Damon about ripper Mommy, Damon was having a drink in front of the fireplace. If only vampires could lose their liver...Damon wouldn't have one by now.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Bad guys always have the coolest lines-Remember's damon's snarky comments throughout the series or katherine?

As for Enzo's storyline-i'm directly quoting a line from her recent interview(Starry constellation magazine-12th march)Mama Salvatore ends up having a pretty interesting connection to someone else in Mystic Falls that is not someone people are expecting. I have already worked with this person a bunch and I really like that storyline as well. She has already confirmed it's neither kai nor bonnie.I'm pretty sure matt and tyler is out of the equation. That leaves only enzo.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Oh, team bamon would be unstoppable, can you imagine that? LOL... With his vampire abilities and ambiguous morals, her being and ultra powerful witch that never gives up, AND their shared badassness... Nobody would even come close to that.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Oh, yes, they were always gold :) And yeah, I was quite a supporter of the "Enzo is Damon's half brother" theory but with the recent development maybe Lily turned Enzo in Europe and he became some sort of a surrogate son, but also kept hearing stories about Damon and Stefan and grew jealous over time? IDK, but definitely agree about her storyline being connected to Enzo's - Julie also said we're going to explore Enzo's backstory soon...

    ReplyDelete
  129. As long we move away from that ridiculous revenge track, any theory is welcome.I'm kinda surprised Liam & Sarah both lived to tell the day!

    ReplyDelete
  130. has anyone else noticed dark Carolines resemblance to Klaus ? the way she acted , talked... especially the use of the word "love" ?... what I wouldn't give to see her in New
Orleans the way she is now

    ReplyDelete
  131. Oh, don't get me started on Liam - I'm just wondering whether he's supposed to be sleazy or if it's just a happy coincidence, LOL.

Sarah seems rather pointless now but I have some hopes that her storyline will eventually pay off, either when it comes to Enzo, or with Damon when he'll be able to at least slightly make up for the horrible thing he's done...

    ReplyDelete
  132. Since i saw her in TVD BTS pics for 6.18,i'm guessing she'll stick around till the season finale at least, which is a mircle in itself. As for Liam, enzo should kill him ASAP,he's so good at snapping neck.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Agreed, but I guess I don't necessarily need Sarah in the next season, especially if it will be the final season after all, which seems more likely now with the low ratings and rumors about Nina leaving the show... Perhaps she could join Meredith in Alaska, going for some scholarship program in photography, LOL? And big YES for Enzo snapping Liam's neck... or Stefan... or virtually anybody, let's just end this suffering.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Just watched it! Nice move TVD, at the start of the episode I was like "it would be so awesome if Stefan switched his emotions off too". I fast forwarded through all the Enzo scenes though, that stroyline is beyond boring and pointless.

    ReplyDelete
  135. As this point in the show,Elena has virtually been demoted to a supporting character & her character has been destroyed beyond repair-so i wouldn't be too bummed if she does leave by the end of this season-the love triangle is long over anyway-Bamon can be end-game instead-win-win for everyone!
As for sarah,i agree fully-i have no interest in seeing her after this season, she can join meredith in alaska for all i care.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Saw it finally. Very entertaining episode.

My love for Bonnie grows with each passing episode. The writers are not taking the easy way out by making her assimilate quickly into the present. Also, they're making sure that her experiences have changed her. Made her more hardened. I like it. Very much.

So, Lily is a Ripper. Changed in 1858 and faked her own death. I wonder who changed her. A random vampire? Or someone we have already met? Would make it even more interesting if it's someone we have met before ( Klaus/Elijah/Katherine/Rebekkah/Lexi).

All the Caroline parts were highly entertaining. I like her dark side.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Rethinking the episode and that amazing, thoughtful character development it gave to pretty much every character (minus Elena), I have to correct my stance on the episode - it was one of the best episodes ever, but it may easily be THE best episode directing-wise. I don't remember any other episode that would give some chance to shine to ALL the characters involved, giving them gentle and natural, yet noticeable character development, shoving them more "alive" then ever before, whether it's their badassness, vulnerability, pain... They all felt realistic here, not just like plot devices. And perhaps all the actors seemed more capable, beautiful and nuanced then ever before, especially Candice's and Kat's performance has been phenomenal. But even Stefan was more likable then he normally is, it was such a delight hearing his sarcasm, honesty, confidence as well as vulnerability...

What I'm trying to say is that Ian took some really good material and managed to turn it into A+ stuff, getting the absolute best out of the story, actors, the set, everything... All while leaving some of his personality in it (those very arty visuals!), yet staying completely true to form.

So yes, it might be crazy, but Ian seems to be my most favorite TVD director, LOL. Please let the guy direct as often as he wants and make him one of the producers for the next season, maybe? He's already showed numerous times that he has very good understanding of the characters and what makes them tick, and now he managed to prove it once again... and then some more.

    ReplyDelete
  138. I couldn't have said it better. I used to be quite a fan of Elena once but lately there really isn't much to her anymore - I don't hate her, I'm just completely "meh" about her... And if Nina wants to go then it's sad in a way but the show will IMHO work just fine without Elena in her current form. And if they will have season 7 as the final season and will know it since the very beginning, then... Perhaps it's going to be for the best.
Dexter taught me that it's better to have one great season instead of two for the price of lower quality, especially if it means that the other one will be just horrible. And especially when it comes to final seasons. While I love how well the show works right now, it's possible that if Julie thought that she has plenty of time left, we would get more "great" storylines like the travelers, or the leading ships would get into that vicious "we need to give them more deus ex machina obstacles because they've been stable for too long now" cycle. But right now everything works (more or less), steroline is brand new, bamon is just a possibility (albeit very realistic one)... If they manage to go into season 7 with the idea of tying all the loose ends and bringing the show into it's natural conclusion, with the ships and everything, then they can IMHO still go with a bang :)

    ReplyDelete
  139. Out of every possible moment they could've chosen to call Elena out on her selfishness, they have to choose one of the few moments when she's actually being selfish and annoying. Figures.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Even though I enjoy seeing Damon in pain (whether it's emotional or physical), even I felt a little bad for him when he learned about his mother.

    ReplyDelete
  141. I feel like I'm being mean saying this but I hope they are phasing her out. I loved Elena in the first couple of seasons (though I didn't care for the triangle or stelena/delena) and now her character is my least favourite.

    ReplyDelete
  142. It was the best episode in a looooong time, IMO since season 2

    ReplyDelete
  143. I can see why some people would think that but I really didn't think there were any. Logically of course Elena is upset she still cares about Stefan and after the time Stefan shut off his humanity in S3 she's probably afraid he made her life hell.

    ReplyDelete
  144. I guess we will, and you can say "I told you so" if you're right lol

    ReplyDelete
  145. You're right - thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  146. I loved what you said about Ian giving all the characters a "chance to shine" - that was really nice of you, and so true. I've already commented that Stefan was more "alive" in this episode than he has been all season. It takes generosity and a team spirit to accomplish what Ian did. You're only as strong as those around you and it's foolish not to use their talents to the fullest; they make YOU look better! Ian obviously knows that and I think he did a terrific job for his first time directing. People who didn't watch this episode because they're too busy grinding their own axes missed something really special.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Not going to lie, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this episode. Although I don't really know why we need this turn-off-humanity-instead-of-dealing-with-grief rehash (already happened with Elena, and we know how it will end), Caroline was entertaining. I liked the Kai/Damon/Bonnie scenes, and Kat Graham killed it last night. I also think the exploration of how much Bonnie struggled with isolation is really important and something that the writers did right. Bonnie has become my favourite female on the show, as she's shown tremendous strength, vulnerability, and growth. Ian did a pretty good job directing too.

    ReplyDelete
  148. yeah honestly i'm surprised how much i like Bonnie now LOL. My sister said that Caroline's the only vampire that's in control of non humanity but she's bound to lose control

    ReplyDelete
  149. yeah i know but you know how he is, the fact that he likes Caroline with her humanity ON says a lot

    ReplyDelete
  150. nah he had to say it because Caroline was there

    ReplyDelete
  151. i'm not saying he would never be able to turn back into him, he's a Ripper so he'll always have that hanging over him but in THIS instance he's faking

    ReplyDelete
  152. no it looks like he's enjoying sort of like when he was on the road with Klaus and they were having "dinner"

    ReplyDelete
  153. What do you mean?

    ReplyDelete
  154. that he, well you know he likes killing so he should want someone that likes that too but the girl he cares about hates that and when she turned off her humanity he should be ECSTATIC but he's not. Even in the bar or coffeshop or something he was sad that she turned it off, so it surprised me that he wouldn't want her like that, with her humanity shut off

    ReplyDelete
  155. yeah it did, surprising Enzo characteristic

    ReplyDelete
  156. so it's not just you, my sister is basically waiting for Bonnie to go "Dark Willow"

    ReplyDelete
  157. ah remember when Kai was a psychopathic murderer?

    ReplyDelete
  158. yeah the creator confirmed Bonnie has PTSD

    ReplyDelete
  159. You're not getting the point. He loves and admires her beyond these petty reasons. He doesn't want to see Caroline corrupted, after Maggie died, she probably reminds him of a good soul and he will do anything to protect that.He acts like a D-Bag to everyone but not Caroline. She's special to her.He respects her way too much to take advantage of her in that humanity less state. It made me like the character even more,if that's even possible!

    ReplyDelete
  160. yeah i liked that, really REALLY liked and this is from someone who liked him then got bored then wanted him dead and after seeing this i'm leaning towards liking him again

    ReplyDelete
  161. yeah the way he fell, that was an amazing moment for Ian Somerhalder

    ReplyDelete
  162. she said "love"? when?

    ReplyDelete
  163. even when declined sleeping with no humanity Caroline?

    ReplyDelete
  164. Darnecia Mercer14 March 2015 at 05:34

TOTALLY LOVED this episode. I thought I would be annoyed with the humanity switch thing but they made it really interesting to watch. I really enjoyed bad Caroline and can't wait to see evil Stefan...he is way more fun to watch when he is bad lol. I'm a hopeless stelena fan but I loved that Stefan told Elena to "bring him back" I hope that this gives more Elena/Stefan scream time. I'm NOT a fan of steroline...I really don't like them in a romantic way. BUT WHAT REALLY STOLE THE SHOW was BAD ASS BONNIE! Her scenes was amazing. I loved the flirting with her and Damon..I hope he gets back on Bonnie's good side. He was being do selfish and was forcing Bonnie to deal with Kai way too soon. I really like Sarah too, I hope Elena uses her to bring Stefan back..Would be cool if Enzo and Caroline had more scenes!

    ReplyDelete
  165. Darnecia Mercer14 March 2015 at 05:55

Yes it's true Stefan only had Elena to talk to but I think everyone knows that Stefan will always love Elena. He is trying to move on because they have changed a lot but Elena is his true love IMO. I'm not sold on "steroline" . I see them as couple maybe a few episodes but I'm not buying that Stefan really thinks Caroline and him will have an epic romance. Just my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  166. They're twists. Not cornrows, nor "any weird version of cornrows" they're called called twists. And that look specifically was a popular look for white girls in the 90s. You've seen it before but probably don't remember.

new video!!! I need them back! This is all good and fun, and a long dream of mine come true. (talking of Dark Caroline). But i need them back, so they can get going on this love train. Enjoy the video. It's sooo good!

KOKY!! Sharing this with you! Whenever you come on you can view it! It's so precious just like them!!! My Steroline feels! I need them back. (not that i'm not loving this SL) So they can start their beautiful loving relationship. It's out there now, i need them to hop aboard the Love boat!

    ReplyDelete
  171. She greeted Sarah when she came into the bar. (the epic shot of Caroline that Ian did with the lighting) and she said it b/c she was mimicking Enzo. Nothing to do with Klaus. = /

    ReplyDelete
  172. I guess that's possible but seeing him with blood running down his chin Is going a bit far. That would mean he's pretending but has to make it look real so he's eating people. He's got to know he'll always lose the battle with his blood lust so that could be why he asked Elena to "bring him back"? You've almost got me convinced, Ivan!

    ReplyDelete
  173. You could very well be right and if you are, I think those people are mean spirited. If you don't like a show just don't watch it and shut up. Don't try to hurt it and spoil it for the rest of us who enjoy it. That sounds like some kind of childish vendetta. Reminds me of that time when Elena wouldn't invite Damon into the Salvatore mansion and he said, "What are we, 12?"

    ReplyDelete
  174. Stefan is smart but blood lust has nothing to do with brains. He's a good guy but he only has two speeds when it comes to human blood: abstinence or out of control. It's not his fault, it's an unfortunate fact.

    ReplyDelete
  175. You've almost got me convinced that Stefan's faking it. The drama would be significantly upped in that case, because it would mean he's taking a very dangerous chance to help Caroline, one that's certain to bite him in the ass. Once he starts with the human blood, how long before the blood lust overcomes him? He has to know that there's a good chance he will lose himself again. And he'll feel everything. THAT could explain why he asked Elena to "bring him back".

  176. I'm not sure what you mean? I don't care if they get together or not I just like both characters and I like them even more with their humanity off :)

  177. Awesome Kiddo,, Thanks.
Not sure if I want either one to come back for a while. We need the excitement of the NOT knowing,,and Caro to hold out a little longer,, at least until Nicklaus shows up.!!;))))))))))))))

Qwerty1212 here - for some reason I've lost access to my account (don't know if it has been hacked or whatnot), I'm trying to solve it with the Disqus tech support and I'm probably not going to post too much until I (hopefully) get my account back...

I just wanted to thank you and let you know I've loved the video :)

  179. LOL.....this is one of the few times I've felt genuinely terrible for Damon......even Bonnie doing her witchy thing on him (which used to give me pleasure in the past), made me sad, even though he deserved it.....I guess it took Ian's directing to make me actually feel more empathy for his character!

  183. Caroline will regret asking Stefan to turn his Humanity off bc she has no idea what she got herself into.

Lets open the bidding on the fact Damon's mom meet Katherine while on the run in Europe turned her and made some deal to have her son's turned so later on she can reunite with her boys. Bc no way Katherine was suddenly interested in them and just decided to turn them bc she wanted boy toys lol

  187. That is hysterical funny one,, I liked your vid,, I adore Stefan and adore Caro,, but there was room for improvement,, so I took the liberty of making room. I didn't think you would mind,, much. lololololol

  188. While I thought dark Caroline was fun.... I reckon it'll get old pretty quickly, and Stefan is just pretending IMO, hasn't really switched.

Enzo... total waste of space... why hasn't someone killed him yet and Sarah's reaction to him makes me wonder just what's going on in her head... maybe Stefan compelled her with some sort of plan for a vampire coming into her life (not necessarily Enzo - more likely he was worried about Damon) when she was younger and she's just baiting Enzo?

    Elena... meh!

Bonnie & Kai were both cool but considering her appearance was a flashback Lily got a lot of story time - really looking forward to more of her. I'm wondering if she flicked the switch back during her imprisonment or if she's still a Ripper?

  189. Sorry but once a so called true love moves on to your brother that's the end of the relationship whether steroline ends up working or not. It's not an either/or scenario. Ultimately Stefan respects himself enough to never go there again. And if I am part of "everyone" then your statement is false because I don't think Stefan will always love Elena and I certainly don't subscribe to the teenage view of the world where we all have a "true love". Besides the only reason Stefan was drawn to/in love with Elena in the first place was because of the doppleganger curse. The writers did much more damage to the stelena fanbase with that plot line than they did to the delenas with the sire bond.
