  1. Oh goodness that episode broke my heart. The scene with Fitz and Skye was amazing! Just seeing the promo gave me chills. I just want to give Skye a hug, she could use one!

  2. Whoa, what did Raina become? I can't wait to see more of her.

The Fitz and Skye scene was amazing and I loved it so much. Oh God, I can't wait to see more of her powers. I also loved the Bobbi and Skye scene - we need more of those.

Bobbi and Mack, what the hell are you doing?

Great start to the second half and I missed the show so much and am thrilled it's back.

  3. Fitz protecting Skye and saying that being different doesn't mean something is wrong with her...wow that hit me right in the feels. That's what makes Fitz my favorite character. I might ship them now just a little bit.

And poor Jemma, she's so broken up that she's starting to believe it would be best to start killing people with powers rather than helping them. She sees them as some kind of plague. I wonder if they plan on taking her down a darker path in the back half of this season.

"We'll be laughing a lot less" I'm pretty sure that's the description for this entire season.

what is Bobbi and Mack hiding.... ?

  6. Welcome back SHIELD. Your awesomeness was sorely missed. So Raina has gone all prickly pear cactus, trading in her girly flower dress for thorns and a grizzly attitude. Meanwhile, Skye is one tiny provocation away from going all nuclear bomb. Oh my. And WTF is going on with tiny Lola. Somehow, I don't think a tiny Agent Coulson is in the driver's seat. Marvel, you nailed it.

  7. An awesome return!!

Raina's transformation was GNARLY as hell. Holy moly, the makeup department did an awesome job on her. Even though she looked great, I kinda felt bad for her and she had this coming. Be careful what you wish for, Raina! Not everyone can turn out to be as divine as Skye. "You always did like flowers" And I was dying laughing at Cal's cheering when he found out that Skye had changed XD He's so damn crazy.

I was squealing like a little girl with all the Fitz/Skye scenes. "You're just different now and there's nothing wrong with that" Can I just hug Fitz forever?! He knows exactly what she's going through because he was going through something similar in the beginning of the season and it was just all so emotional and touching and I shed some tears. This episode did such a great job of portraying emotional characters moments. And I love that they're going to wait a little while until everyone has calmed down before telling the team about Skye. Probably the best thing right now. For now, I'm loving this kept secret between the two of them.

Simmons was acting very strangely in this episode. Wanting to kill Raina automatically and saying that superpowers are a plague? That was a bit extreme. Who are you and what you done to my Simmons? Looks like the theory that HYDRA has been brainwashing her is becoming more and more plausible.

Bobbi and Mack continue to be shady as hell and I'm so damn eager to find out what it is that they're hiding! That final scene does give us a huge clue. Finding Fury's toolbox and the base schematics? This might have something to do with the Avengers. God, I'm so interested in seeing this develop.

Nice to see that we got more information on our Inhuman guy with no eyes! I'm still almost pretty positive that the guy is Reader although the show added a new power to him: teleportation. Looks like this is the power he will mostly use to look for other Inhumans on Earth. "We're gonna laugh a lot less - that's for sure". You got that right, Skye :(

Looking forward to next week's episode. Sif is back! Woohoo!

  8. THIS EPISODE WAS SO INTENSE!!!

    - ALL THE SKIMMONS MOMENTS
    - Simmons smiling when Fitz said that Skye was okay
    - Fitz protecting Skye and then Fitz and Skye Bonding
    - Mama May and Skye talk, papa Coulson and Skye talk
    - May and Coulson kicking ass together
    - Bobbi and Hunter kicking ass together
    - ALL THE TEAM IN THE END REMEMBERING TRIP

  14. Yup, just saw that and flagged the comment. Absolutely ridiculous.

  15. Yah, I want to say Reader is good...I hope he is good...It's weird seeing that scene where he teleports Raina and I originally thought that Raina was a Inhuman blonde woman with hair up in a bun, and having some sort of force field around her...It's so weird realizing it was Raina the whole time. But I hope he is good, if he found Raina so easily...does that mean he'll find Skye?

  16. I flagged the comment on the Chicago Fire page.

  17. You are trying too hard.

  18. Damn! too many stuff happening. It was a great return even better tha S1. Raina, Skye, HYDRA, Simmons, everyone had a moment.
I hope Raina finds a way to eb back to normal but damn im sure liking her new look. I kind of want her t kick Cal's ass
It's safe to assume that those that Skye's motehr help when they were kids will help Skye and the rest of the new inhumans now? They sure will come for her.
Jemma is just scared, i get her, anyone will be but damn.... how long till she noticed that Fitz changed the samples, she is smart after all, she will knw something is wrong and Fitz and Skye needs to work if they want to keep things from anyone.
Skye should not be the only inhuman in that team what if someone else stars developing powers in the future D: ...

I cried like a baby at fitz and skye’s hug. Like sobbing, ugly sobbing. She needed so much that hug. And Fitz understands what’s like being different. Let me hug you both!
I’m glad someone gave Raina hope, even called her ‘gorgeuos’. I want to see more of her.
And that Cal’s little dancing - he was hilarous. xD
Poor Jemma, she’s taking all this very hard and that impacts on her decisions. :/
Any mention of Trip brought tears to my eyes. Especially scene with his mother. :(
Bobbi and Mack are doing something serious. What is it? I wanna know!

I missed this show so much.

  20. yeah me too, although i DID like the support group lie it sounded like something EVERY SHIELD agent SHOULD go to with what they see

  21. This episode destroyed me. Leo Fitz is my hero. I was watching season 1 earlier episodes recently. You can't even compare both Fitz's. Its like two completely different characters. I adore him.

Poor poor Skye. To think I despised this character last season. I felt so sorry for her. Loved her and Fitz scenes very much.

Simmons went a bit extreme in this episode. All that talk about epidemic. I hope its the grief talking and not Hydra brainwash.

Bobbi and Mac are really shady. I can't wait to find out what they are working for and for whom. They will not be bad guys for sure.

Raina looks less freaky than I thought she would. Loved Skye's fathers reaction to her transformation and loved the flashback to the inhuman and Skye's mother.

Coulson was determined this episode and I loved how he was two steps ahead of Hydra this episode. Even though it was all a show I thoroughly enjoyed the car accident and the gun fight scene where May took down all the remaining guys.

A solid solid come back. Missed Ward. I can't wait to see his reaction to Skye's powers. There was nothing negative about this episode.

    ReplyDelete
  22. at first i thought RAINA put up the force field until i saw Reader, i think because Reader worked and was so close to Skye's mom i think finding Skye will be a cake-walk for him

    ReplyDelete
  23. Loved it. I'm so happy this show is back... I didn't want the episode to end. I want to know what bobbi and mack are up to! I felt so bad for skye..
can't wait to see what happens next week!

  24. Everything about this episode was great...
    - Dichen Lachman guests again.
    - Inhuman story.
    - We see Raina.
    - Raina and Cal talk.
    - SHIELD is actually not that aware of what Hydra is.
    - There is emotional fallout from Tripp's death.
    - Skye is worried about not being human anymore, and what everyone else's reaction will be.
    ...except the Hydra parts.
    - The prisoner doesn't question that the people are there to kill him, but they don't.
    - He's able to directly call one of the upper echelon people.
    - He goes directly to that guy's house.
    - That guy doesn't small a trap.
    - The other upper echelon people have no idea that there's a kill code that will be enacted by people close to them.

  25. Nice come back, few people were missing, but that's ok we got some other super action to fill that cap.

First of all really Simmons really... That's not how people with a good moral compass talk, I'm being Moral in to this because she is in the "good" side. For me tho I view them all as players, that's why I tend to like people Like Ward and Calvin.

At least Fitz gets it! That was cool of him to help cover up for Skye. Good moment there.

I'm glad Skye know she is different and that she is causing the shakes, hope she uses her gifts like the other will.

That Eyeless Teleport-er was bad ass at the end, great display of his powers. Skye's mom must of thought him good.

  26. Fantastic episode!!! Enjoyed every minute of it and I didn't want it to end. So glad the show is back, can't wait till next week :)

  27. Great episode! I'm so glad this show is back! The Skye and Fitz scene was my favorite of the episode. I loved Coulson saying "they'll never take us alive". LOL. Hydra likes to put their logo on everything the way Shield does. I don't even know what to say about Jemma. Pretty sneaky about mini Lola. I'm really curious about their secret now.

I'd feel more sorry for Raina if she hadn't wanted to transform so much. Did it really never occur to her that whatever she transformed into might not be so great? Cal's little dance was hilarious. He's so entertaining to me. I loved seeing Skye's mom. That must have been before she met Cal? I'm curious about Gordon. Next week looks good.

  28. -Don't understand this one
-Of course he is able to call one, he was Whitehall's 2nd in command
    -Where else would they go?
-He did kind of smell a trap, that's why Hydra shot up the SUV.
-They might have been "upper echelon" but clearly they were lower than the two guys that decided to put out the kill order.
    -

    ReplyDelete
  29. 1) That entire group arrives to kill him, which the lone man/Hunter is going to make good on, but they instead of just blowing up the SUV, they try to get him.
    2) In those sort of circumstances, he should have to go through at least one go-between to communicate to, not with, that guy.
    3) A safe house. A meeting point. Something besides his personal house.
    4) They shot up the SUV because he wanted to get rid of that guy.
    5) They were the same as those two guys. That's why they were competing to replace Whitehall. The other guy simply recused himself from the competition.

  30. Awesome ep....will Ward be back in the show more? he is hardly in it now and i miss him in it really, good or bad

  31. yeah he'll be back soon

  32. Awesome episode, well i have to say good buy to Simmons soon because i really hate the way she is getting.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I was worried about this one because honestly, I am not invested enough in Skye to want her hugging most of the screentime...but that was really well done. The confusion, the fear, and I like Fitz even more now! And they gave Trip a proper farewell.
But I admit, my favourite part was them thoroughly outwitting Hydra. It was a long overdue win.

  34. Re: Fitz

I haven't seen such a great character transformation since Wesley on Angel.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Is it possible to creat something better than "Awesome"? 'Cause seriously that episode blew my mind, it was beyond of my expectations. Fitz and Skye ugh right in the feels.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think Jemma is just grieving. She did have some sort of semblance of a thing with Tripp and chasing down this stuff is what caused his death. She's just trying to rationalize and blame something or someone. I think once she discovers the truth about Skye we'll see that she doesn't truly feel how she says

    ReplyDelete
  37. Great episode, the flashback of Skye's mom was great. I like the moment between Fitz and Skye, I like his character even more now. Raina go to beautiful to ugly, but still like her character, can't wait to see her more this season and the relationship between her character and the no eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Really enjoyed the episode and the cleverness of Coulson's plan and,of course, the Fitz/Skye moment but can't seem to find the two newer guys having the screen presence of Trip and even jerky old Ward. Dang shame they killed off Trip.

  39. Not a single scene of Grant in the episode was a big turn off for me.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I know right. He was such an energizer nerd bunny in season 1. When Skye and Fitz hugged this episode it reminded me of the painful crush he had on Skye in season 1. During that time it looked like Skye could chew him and spit him out. Now he is the one being the support system for her. Its very heartwarming to see.

    ReplyDelete
  41. You are assuming that he thought they were there to kill him, its equally as likely that he thought that they were staging a rescue for him having learned about the transfer to Talbot.

And yes Skye's Mom was an Inhuman, I thought that was already clear from the whole Episode in 2A?

We need another awesome fitz episode.

  43. isn't Lance Hunter in the comics the Director of SWORD?

    ReplyDelete
  44. no i know i meant when the force field appeared , i thought RAINA created it, not the promo. Yeah i would think Reader would want to take care of Skye unless he and Skye's mom had a falling out

    ReplyDelete
  45. nice comparison, didn't think of it

    ReplyDelete
  46. Awesome first episode back. I don't think there was one thing that didn't work.

    Loved it!

  47. What I think the writers are doing is getting ready for build up to Cap American Civil War. They already have begun too show it slightly in the Cap American Winter Soldier movie; the dialogue between Cap and Fury and the scene where Natasha stopped Hydra knowing it would release her secrets. There are little nuggets left for us the Fans to watch. We already know that Shield season 1, they were out looking for individuals with unusual abilities to take them in. In the comic books, Civil War, there is division among the avengers and shield as to who agrees with mandating individuals with extraordinary powers to register themselves. We all know Tony agrees with the registration act, whereas CAP does not. There are lines in the films already having Cap talking about civil liberties. In the Comic Books we know Black Widow is Team Tony. Her argument to Cap is gonna be that she herself already lifted her identity to the work, and she will feel that everyone will need to do as it is an act of self-liberation. I am thinking that Jemma is gonna side with Team Tony and agree that the registration act is a necessary act. BUT COULSON I believe is gonna be TEAM CAP and it is obvious that Fitz is gonna be Team CAP.
