  1. Awesome episode as usual

  2. Maybe i set myself up for something epic because last week's was just so much but I was kinda disappointed in this episode but i did enjoy some parts

    ReplyDelete
  3. I love this show but this was probably my least favorite episode of the year. Last week was so amazing but this one not so much.

  4. Geez! That was weird. That was Flash: Bizarro Style! I feel so bad. I mean this whole thing has left me pretty torn. On the one hand, Cisco's alive, Joe isn't hurt, neither is his boss. On the other hand, Barry broke up with Linda (which he was gonna do anyway, so doesn't really matter, still sucks though), Iris never had those talks so her feelings were buried deeper (until Joe kinda said something), Cisco was forced to bond with his family. (Lol), and No one knows of Wells' Identity!!! And now it'll take longer to figure it out. Or at least I thought so right before that ending!! Thank God for that ending!!! I wanted Barry to look at that screen sooo badly!!

This episode was great though. I enjoyed Cold once again, as well as GG, really don't care for Heatwave. His deliverance annoys me, along with his eye popping acting. Anyways, Cold was hilarious. His stubbornness and his one liners were too funny. "So Cisco, what exactly are your intentions with my sister?" "You're a good brother." Cisco: "You too." "Debatable." Hahahaha, yeah I always get a kick out of him. Ohhh and loved the Rogues Gallery reference.

Cisco- Love him sooo much! That scene with Wells. Wow. I see what you did there writers. Did anyone else want to cry at that scene?? I did. I was like oh no, the reminder. Then Wells said the SAME thing he said to Cisco right before he killed him. Damn. I never want to see that again. I loved Wells' line of "All you proved today is that you love your brother. And the reason, that we all want you to stay, is that we love you too." And I shouted, YEAH WE DO! And even though Lisa was setting up Cisco, I still got happy for him when he got a little action. That's my boy!

Iris- I'm mad Mason's dead, she never had the talk with him about Wells. Well she did, the first time, but not the second time, the second time actually being "yesterday" which turned out being today, and yet she was still distracted twice. Now if you were able to follow that good. If you didn't, the point is it didn't happen. Anyways...I'm wondering now that she'll know about Mason, will she automatically think Wells? IDTS. She'd have to go through Mason's files to get suspicious about it, and now his files are deleted, so my question is...how the hell will she put two and two together?? Oh boy, I was really excited about her investigating this, now it's a mess.

I don't even know what else to say, my mind is all over the place, but I really liked this episode. I think iI liked it because of the pace. Last week was so, GO GO GO! And this episode was, Whoaaa, slow down! Too fast! So that's what we did. Lol If Barry has to take a step back then so do we.

  5. Question...was that Eddie in the reverse flash suit? Had to rewatch that scene 10 times now and right before he destroys the computer he speaks in a non reverse flash voice, a normal voice, but it's not Wells' voice, sounds a bit like eddie. Anyone else catch that?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Strangely enough, I think I prefer this timeline to the previous episode's timeline. I think the anticipation of last episode made all the declarations feel a little rushed, but now we're back to the slow burn of Westallen and the non-reveal of Barry's true identity. But I think my favorite part is that now it's Barry who is suspicious of Wells instead of Iris. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Decent episode, but not one of the best...
I enjoyed seeing Barry deal with the after effects of his time jump for the most part.
    - I enjoyed ROGUES better this time around. HW and CC seemed less cartoon-y to me, but the sister is a mess... Speaking of sis...
    - Why do ROGUES need to go after the casino cash when lil sis can make gold?

After last week's series high episode the show really lost its momentum this week! I was hoping for something close to last week in quality, but this was a let down. Maybe when things play out this episode will be better in retrospect...

  8. It was done to make Snart more like comics Cold.

    ReplyDelete
  9. No it's Eobard.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Well it was a cleanup/ set up episode (like last week's Arrow) so it's bound to feel a little off.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Barry will learn the truth. It's gonna be awesome. Shame about Iris not knowing he's The Flash though.

    ReplyDelete
  12. He doesn't kill people in the comics?

    ReplyDelete
  13. He doesn't like to. Man's got a code.

    ReplyDelete
  14. He's starting to look like a true gentleman. I like classy criminals lol

    ReplyDelete
  15. The truth about Wells, yes, I'm more excited to see how he figures it out. The journey to it. As for not knowing about Barry's secret, I'm opposite of you on that one. I'm thrilled she doesn't know.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I don't understand WestAllen. I'm excited about Barry finally getting a clue about Wells. Wells should have done a better job of hiding that he knows so much about time travel but he was desperate to protect himself.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yay characters in the dark. I love seeing characters less involved in stories and look forward to the inevitable anger when she discovers his identity. Sorry I just find it pointless, and annoying most of the time.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Well he's the coolest, classiest of them all.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I love The Flash and Captain Cold's growing relationship. It's becoming such an interesting dynamic between a hero and villain.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Caitlin is the real MVP of this episode. She made Barry's life a lot less difficult than it could have been. She turned bullsh*t into gold. Now that is a real superpower.

    ReplyDelete
  21. LOL!! I don't mean like that. I mean it's too early for her to be knowing, and I didn't want her finding out like that anyway. I'd rather the reveal happen in the finale even season 2. I'd rather Barry tell her when he's ready, or if she pieces it together (anything to get her reporter mind moving), not when "disaster strikes" And he has to blurt it out.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Fair. I just really hope it's soon. And not three seasons from now.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Actually that gold thing has been joked about in the comics. It's basically because the Rogues prefer the game and aren't the best when it comes to devising non- crime related schemes.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I still consider three seasons short (as opposed to shows we've seen in the past) but TPTB really don't waste time with this series, so I doubt you'll be waiting til then. Either way, it'd still be shorter than if they were to play it "by the book" LOL There'd be an outrage. Personally I'd like her to find out in season 2. But I'd want it to be Barry traveling to the future (Possibly meeting Bart), seeing him and Iris, then travel back to the past and knowing that it all works out. BUT still not telling her. Lol The trip would be basically him getting some closure. I'd imagine him telling her in in season 2 by mid-finale. That would be my bet. I'd be cool with that.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I won't mind mid-season finale and I'd love a Bart appearance. Especially if he Barry, and Wally in season 2 or 3 face off against Eobard. I hope that happens one day.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Melinda Torres had a crush on me? I lol'd at that part so hard.
Cisco had to go thru a tough choice but in the end he is alive, which is good, and we still got the Like a son speech from Wells.

It was cool seeing the side effects of Barry change Time even just a little. The changes it brought were all good for long terms so I liked them. (I really wish there is some change in Arrow too).

Barry and Cold understanding was nice. Glad they were able to come to some Code of Conduct. Even if temporary. Maybe Cold will get some respect for the Flash and vice versa if the code isn't broken.

I like that Lighting sickness, Very nice save Snow!

Wells being Wells are the end. At least he does stuff in style.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Nerd coma for a while. I'd faint from sheer joy.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I agree. She makes his life easier while Iris needs a tidal wave to understand her feelings.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Lol nerd coma. I like that. I'm using that. ; )

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yay between you and Koky I'm starting something.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oh? And what is that?

    ReplyDelete
  32. ROGUES GALLERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE ROGUES!!!!!!!!!!! THEY SAID THE NAME THE ROGUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. yeah when i heard Barry tell Cold that he doesn't have to kill people and he agreed i thought of the code The Rogues have

    ReplyDelete
  34. yeah i HATE!!!!!!!!! Heatwave with the rays of of a thousand suns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. "relationship"? LOL but yeah i guess in a weird way it IS a relationship and Cold is technically Barry first arch-nemesis

    ReplyDelete
  36. i'm trying to think what WOULD change in Arrow? The Rogues or at least its leader Cold don't break their code

    ReplyDelete
  37. This was a decent episode. But any episode they put out after the last weeks monster will only can be called decent. I really liked it.

    Positives
    - Captain Cold was the mvp this episode. He made me laugh so many times. His relationship with Lisa, Cisco and Barry are just fun. The best part about him is he is not into mindless violence. He is more interested in seeing who will best whom.
"I am sure you are a good brother too" "Debatable"

    "Rogues. Cute"
    - Lisa Snart was really fun. But now I need to know the man whom she frozen with gold is he dead?

    - Barry and Linda broke up. I really like how mature Linda was.
    - Cisco's brother is a jerk and his parents are even bigger jerks. My sadistic mind was happy when he got frost bite.
    - The scene between Cisco and Barry when he says he had to give up Barry's identity to Cold was the best scene of this episode. Loved it.
    - Wells was back to his confusing antics of being the good guy this episode. Then he went and killed Mason Bridge brutally. You are evil Eobard.
    - Loved Barry got suspicious of Wells and he shared it with Joe.
    - Caitlin that was a great save.

    Negatives
    - Mason never got the chance to tell Iris about his findings on Wells. I was annoyed by that. I need her to dive head first into Wells' mystery.
    - It was great how Joe talked to Iris about her feelings and all that but then we ended up at the same place with Iris having feelings but not confronting it.
    - That Eddie punching Barry came out of no where. Why did he punch him? Is it for the bowling alley incident or is it for the coffee shop incident?

Over all a decent episode. Scarlet speedster suffered a bit because of time travel. But everything ended on a good note.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'm kind of thinking now that since there is no one in Starling city to know if a change has occurred, nothing in our eyes will change.

Also were the Current Rogues already on their way last episode or was it caused by time changing. If they were already coming last week, why didn't they also take action last week. And if it was because of the time change, then that means within the show even 1 days time change can effect an outside change. But then how far out.

Man time makes me think too much. I Need to relax time to watch izombie.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I liked nerd coma too lol

    ReplyDelete
  40. Loved this episode being pretty much Cisco centric. Hated Dante but we were suppoused to hate him. I like Cisco rose over it and played it cool. Who knew Carlos was such an acting force???
I really hope we'll see more of Linda, I mean when that idiot Barry realizes he and Iris aren't going to be happily ever after. I felt so deeply for Barry, but he was to naive that his power moves wouldn't change anything. Iris telling him off was so Arrrggggghhhhh!
Lisa and Cold where quite entertaining. Good use of them.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Awesome episode, just like the comics Flash and Cold have their agreement and now we wait to see how will they make this Barry and Iris will work out.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I loved Eddie punching Barry. And i am glad Iris confided in Eddie. Barry just crossed a line with Iris this episode.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Rather disappointing episode, IMO. I knew everything was going to be retcon'd with the new timeline but I had hoped they'd do it in a way that didn't make the previous episode feel like a total cheat. Unfortunately that's exactly what this episode did, IMO.

There was a minor improvement in Heatwave but I still don't enjoy his character. Cold's sister, Lisa (Golden Glitter?) was a waste as well. However, I love Captain Cold, Wentworth Miller is certainly having fun with the role.

This was a really good episode for Cisco, especially following last week's final scene, I really do love the guy but all of that was over shadowed by the gigantic cheat. Eddie is adorable though, kind of hard to route for Barry/Iris when I adore Eddie more than Barry or Iris.

    ReplyDelete
  44. So Iris confided in Eddie about Barry's feelings? I was confused about that. I was thinking why would Eddie punch Barry for what happened in the bowling alley. That is a huge thing for Iris to confide. I wish they had shown us her sharing this with Eddie.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I have no other explanation for the punch. It seemed to make Iris very uncomfortable and Iris probably confided to Eddie.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Huh! Why do they cut important Iris scenes?

    ReplyDelete
  47. I dont know but its really frustrating.

    ReplyDelete
  48. What shocked me was The Flash identity becoming known by captain Cold. I can only imagine what will happen with the trickster next week.

    ReplyDelete
  49. After last week's ep, this was pretty disappointing. :(

    ReplyDelete
  50. Yeah Captain Cold was like a cartoon villain this time around...just didn't have the oomph he had before...I'm sure this is setting up for another episode at least...I hope.

    ReplyDelete
  51. and she's a wannabe journalist too..which kills me...at least Lois figured out it was Clark Kent (but then he had to kiss her so...) I hate when journalists are portrayed as dumb characters..sigh

    ReplyDelete
  52. and what was the point in getting rid of mason's body? People will look for him...i know if he's dead there will be an investigation..blah blah..but now he's missing so there's gonna be an investigation anyway...
and what's with the hand through the chest deaths?? This isn't TVD...I hate that..I always have to look away...that's the line ...It really showcases how psychopathic Wells is.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Does Cold know Flash's identity in the comics?

    ReplyDelete
  54. Its really frustrating. We could have known what Iris was feeling when she told Eddie about Barry's feelings. Iris's reactions in end scenes were so random as if she just wrote away Barry's feelings to side effect of lightning. UGh.. Also I am super annoyed that they took what was Iris's mission last episode investigating Wells and gave it to Barry.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I don't understand what they are doing with Iris. They write her as an investigative reporter with no intuition. How is that supposed to work?

    ReplyDelete
  56. Yeah even Cold couldn't save this one.

And I feel a little cheated after this ep. We had a helluva ep last week and now we have to pretend to forget that it ever happen?

I don't know. It feels like such a cop out.

    ReplyDelete
  57. The reverse flash is suppose to be a psychopath but it is annoying that a man that is suppose to be a genius couldn't just have hacked his computer and stolen his papers in same manner he took joe's paperwork. Guess it wouldn't be as entertaining. but I'm still confused as to why this reverse flash sounded nothing like Wells when talking to himself.

    ReplyDelete
  58. That's the problem with time travel...lol

    ReplyDelete
  59. Lol yeah true. And I kinda expected it to happen too but I was expecting more as well I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  60. It is called a relationship. The word doesn't mean just a couple who's dating. It's similar to how one would call it a relationship when speaking of Batman and Joker. You could only use the term when it comes to certain heroes and villains.

    ReplyDelete
  61. She doesn't in the comics. And unlike Lois Iris will most likely figure it out. At least Barry wears a mask and vibrates his face and voice and stands in the shadows so it's hard to tell.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I don't know my knowledge of the comics cuts, on the knowledge that they have an agreement.

    ReplyDelete
  63. The nerd coma as a phrase in the cultural lexicon.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Hahahahaha ah well maybe I won't use it now, how bout that? = p

    ReplyDelete
  65. That Melinda line cracked me up!!! Hahahaha Cisco's the best. Even with his life in danger he's all, "she had a crush on me???" Lmaoooo that was the best. Well he did say that was the love of his life so I wouldn't have expected anything less. That was pure Cisco fashion. That was great.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Very much so! I'll demolish it.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Just try and stop me. Muhahaha!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Ohhh, you got it! Challenge accepted. Know why? Cause I'm (puts pinky to mouth) Evil.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Oh God that reminds of this great episode of JLU where Wally swaps bodies with Luthoe and tells a villain who asked him if he was going to wash his hands, "No, 'cause I'm evil." And Austin Powers. Once it's out there in the internet it can't be stopped. Also so you're the evil one? Cool I've always been a better hero anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Good points. I still the writers show are hinting at an explanation as to why Wells would want to kill Barry. I seem to think that he was trying to kill adult Barry who traveled back in time to stop his mother's death. I can't help but think that Barry did stop his mother's death and it caused massive changes to the timeline. Which resulted in thousands of deaths. I think Zoom went back to kill Adult Barry as he was trying to stop his mother's death. With Zoom ending up killing Nora anyway. And with adult Barry being killed? Not sure what happened to him. HIs blood was on the wall. Curious to know. Wells didn't explain to Cisco why he wanted to kill Barry. I think the writers are using the Flash Point paradox. It made more sense as to why Wells was elated at Cisco having to choose his brother's life over Barry's identity. Makes me wonder that Wells truly believes he had to do what he had to do. And that he desires now to get back to his present time. I think Barry did stop Nora's death, just like the Flashpoint Paradox and the thousands of people died as a result of her being spared. I think Wells went back in time to stop him in the middle of him saving his mother's life. Austin Green already stated there is more to the story than just white and black about Well's motives. He said it was mindblowing. ANd given the fact about the conversation Wells had with Barry about his mother's death and Barry not going back in time to stop it. Based on the newspaper it looks like Barry is supposed to save the world from being destroyed. It won't happened if Barry is not the Flash.

    ReplyDelete
  71. no yeah i know, it's just kind of cool that Barry has his first arch-enemy in all its meaning, took someone he'll have feelings for, took a friend, knows his identity and gave him an ultimatum, classic arch-enemy style. It's so cool

    ReplyDelete
  72. yeah time travel can change even the SMALLEST thing, there's a saying "a pebble thrown on one side of the world can cause a tsunami on the other side of the world"

    ReplyDelete
  73. Well then this works out perfectly. Let the show begin. ; )

    ReplyDelete
  74. Indeed it is cool. I wish we could see that with Spider-Man and Green Goblin in the new reboot.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I think from Wells' conversation how I read it was that sometimes people bury feelings, and that the threat of the city being destroyed brought them to the fore front. I also think there was a little of the green eyed monster that helped it as well.
I'm cheering for Iris and Barry so I hope their characters work it out.
I totally agree with Wells being a psycho but dam the actor plays it so well! In my opinion apart from Falcone and Penguin on Gotham Wells is one of the best superhero villains on television today. I'm really going to enjoy the future storylines of how everyone finds out about him.
    Anyways good recap!

    ReplyDelete
  76. It's not just what he said about Iris. I meant also his talk about Barry's mom. The whole scene din't sit well with me.
    I hope so too.
Right? Tom is brilliant, and I agree about Wells.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)

    ReplyDelete
  77. doesnt make sense...where is the other flash that the one from this episode met at the beginning? the one that was running along? this one stopped and was surprised, the other one kept running and where is he? This tme travel story doesnt work...

    ReplyDelete
  78. I'm not entirely sure that was Wells who killed the reporter bc he wouldn't be able to mirror himself while in the same room as barry. You forgetting through Barry's eyes the world is much slower around him. If Wells did that Barry would notice something is wrong and Wells knows Barry is much stronger then he realizes.

    ReplyDelete
  79. That's the twist we will find out in the finale and i still believe Wells is anti-hero.

    ReplyDelete
  80. He was careful since the beginning but since Barry told him he managed to go back a day earlier he kinda forces him to mess up a little bc he doesn't wanna know exactly what barry learned for that would force him to reveal himself.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Um it wasn't confusing at all lol Barry just basically moved the current events a day earlier meaning Rogues were suppose to happen the nexy day but since Barry resetted the day which he decided what can go wrong if i caught the villain fast and be done with it lol something did go wrong and he basically sped up the current events time table.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Not sure Wells did kill Mason and secondly if he wanted to kill him he do exactly what he did with Staggs come face to face with the person who threatens his trip back home lol.

This RF seems to have some sorta of beef like Wells did something to him in the future and decided to follow him through time. If that is future Barry Allen then we are doomed ppl lol.

    ReplyDelete
  83. He faded away as soon as Barry resetted the day. In the beginning of last tuesday episode we saw the second flash running next to barry that was basically the next day barry allen lol. When he went back a day earlier he basically caught up with himself thus fading away the second flash.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I wasn't confused. That simple logic was already my answer to it all. But I was trying to assume there was more complex writing to it all or was it just make sense writing where answers are easily answered.

    ReplyDelete
  85. When the Stagg murder happened Wells could not use his costume. That's why he went as himself to kill the guy. It took the tachion device to activate the suit. Once the suit got activated he always use it for his nefarious schemes.

I am sure it is Wells who is the reverse flash and who killed Mason. It was Tom Cavanah's voice in that scene.

    ReplyDelete
  86. That's the problem bc it can't be him. he was with barry and even if he managed to go kill Mason barry would notice a change around him for everything around him is much slower in his eyes.

plus i listened to the scene many times and can tell it wasnt him i think it was future Barry Allen the corrupted one lol.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I think they will answer it bc when i watched the promo for the remaining season i show barry pushing another flash up against something so im assuming he manages to catches himself and pull him out of the speed stream lol.

    ReplyDelete
  88. The time Mason was killed Barry was at the coffee shop with Caitlin, Iris and Eddie. After Mason is killed when the RF goes to retrieve the drive from the computer he says "You really were on to the story of the century. At least this century." That dialogue is clearly in Tom Cavanah's voice. After that the next scene is Barry and Wells in STAR labs but this has to be at least next day or later in the night as the story of Mason's disappearance has already hit the tv channels. So I think Harrison Wells did kill Mason. We have to wait and see which one of us is right. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  89. when joe was investigating Wells he paid him a visit and stole everything bout RF. Mason was doing the same all he had to do was pay him a visit and threaten him with something not kill him so it was Future Barry Allen lol.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Joe is Barry's father. If Joe died it will affect Barry and the vision Wells had for Barry's future. Also Barry would be hell bend on finding the killer. He thought Barry won't notice Mason's murder. Lets see.

    ReplyDelete
  91. i still stand by my theory that it was Future Barry Allen but like you said we shall see lol.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I will buy a virtual drink for you if you win and you can buy me a non alcoholic virtual drink for me if I win.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I take it ur not over 21 lol. Besides the RF said not this century like he was telling mason good job you were on to something and doubt Wells would become soft now lol. To me if sounded like this RF was impressed with Mason but didn't want him to expose Wells bc he personally wants revenge against him. The Fact that grant said the twist on wells will not be in the comics so the confession he told cisco was just to keep the comic book fans happy only to yank it in the finale lol.

Ppl are specluating that Wells is in fact his real father and that he somehow got nora pregnant lol.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Oh good god No. I am in my thirties. I am a muslim so we don't drink alcohol that's all. I wish I was in my twenties

There could be a huge twist coming up for Wells. I remember Grant saying that the thoery on Wells is something not speculated on internet. A lot of people predicted Wells could be Eobard Thawne. So may be there is something else coming up. But The Flash tries to keep really close to the comics. They won't name drop Eobard Thawne and not make him bat shit crazy evil. I am sad I got attached to Wells even after knowing he will turn out to be evil. I learned nothing from Slade.

Wells being Barry's father. Good lord talk about soapy drama.

    ReplyDelete
  95. The fact the twist is not gonna be comic book related opens more doors lol. Besides Wells told Mr. Krabs lol he protects his own which he then told cisco he is just trying to go back home but what if he is home but wants to go to another home where he can make a name for himself lol or this is an evil wells and he killed the good wells and decided he maybe better off in his timeline.
