    Ahhh, the man of the hour: Grant Ward! I wouldn't be surprised if he is part of this "real SHIELD" thing. So great to see him again I gotta admit. Really looking forward to the introduction of Robert Gonzales!

    I knew this was about taking Shield from Coulson! Mac disagreed with him too much, feared all the alien influence, and they were very interested in the box Fury gave him to start over. I wish we could just get rid of Mac and Bobbi altogether. Traitors!

    Maybe. I do think the writers need to find some way to incorporate Ward into the storyline more. This other SHIELD might not have the same anger towards Ward as Coulson and the rest of the team do.

    You know what, first of all, them flashing over Ward during the new shield was just a mislead as they always do in promos. Also i can almost guarantee that next few eps, skye will leave. Join her father and then ward will convince her shes good and she'll join back shield.meanwhile mack and bobbis plans to overthrow coulson will happen. Dont know about hunter but i think jemma will eventually side with skye coulson may fitz. (As long as that rumour of her being brainwased by hydra aint true haha) and sine ward helped skye this wont be enoigh to let him back but maybe he'll even save one of their lives who knows and then ward and agent 33 will join the team. Itll basically be the orignal 6 by the end of this season plus agent 33 and maybe hunter (hopefully). Fingers crossed for s3

    First i thought there is no way but you are right. They just can't let Ward be on his on all the time. I like Ward having his own personal agenda but he still is a main character and if they keep this plot he will miss a lot of episodes. He needs to be associated on the main plot and make alliances or they might as well put him as a series regular and i don't think this will happen.

    He is not Hydra and after everything he can't go back to Coulson team so i guess the new SHIELD could makes sense to him.

    Technically Coulson isn't the main character, it's an ensemble show, but yeah, I don't expect anything happening to him either.

    After he killed a bunch of SHIELD agents? I don't think so. I think he will start his own group of the "damaged by being with SHIELD", not as a superhero group, but as a group who protects themselves from all the agencies.

    one shield, two shield... sorry to break your party ladies and gentlemen but if u don't get your head out of your asses with the 'i'm shield' and 'no, i'm a better shield', steve rogers will have no problem breaking the party for you and bringing it on your heads. infighting, distrust, powertrips, betrayals, self righteous asshattery of the 'i'll save you, but there'll be come collateral and a few murders of 'inferior' or 'dangerous' people' is what caused you to become so much like hydra, u couldn't c them amongst u. and we all remember how that ended.

    I'm with Coulson on this one but to play Devil's Advocate:

    Why are they traitors? What makes Coulson's SHIELD any more real than their SHIELD? Fury's consent? Let's not forget that Fury was responsible for a lot of the stuff Cap, and Coulson, had a problem with. The Phase II weapons, the Slingshot program being a fraud, Project Insight, etc.

    Nick Fury was not HYDRA but he was very much old-SHIELD. The leader of new-SHIELD being approved of by him is probably a negative thing in most people's eyes. Even knowing that Coulson is a good guy he was still one of Fury's closest allies. The leader of new-SHIELD is probably someone who rebelled against Fury before HYDRA came into the light.

    Coulson is NOT a threat! I want Skye controlling and using her powers to protect him from them...screw you Mack and Bobbi...you're working for a bad guy.
    Finally we got a glimpse on Ward. Is he part of this fake "real SHIELD" or are they messing with us? I don't want him working with "real SHIELD", I want him working on his own (with Agent 33).

    It's not surprising that would happen, sure Fury chose him, but that doesn't mean everyone's gonna bow down and give him the crown. I did think it was strange that everybody conceded to him becoming Director in the first place, but this makes a lot more sense. What makes him qualified? Does he have what it takes? Can he pull everything together? Everybody's divided, everyone's afraid and everyone's mistrusting, those are questions that the agents who are left are going to ask. Is Coulson capable? Can he take on such a title and lead us? Should he, when we have our own leaders and they've done well by us so far? Now he has to prove himself, and we know Coulson so we know how that will end ;)

    Coulson might be the 'Daniel Jackson' of the Marvel universe. Jackson was a character in Stargate (and it's spinoffs) who died more time than I can count, to the point where other characters started joking about it :)

    Still thou, if they kill Coulson off (for good), that will be the last time I watch the show.

    Does it heck.. Since its fall coulson has done nothing but what is the best for everyone.. Earlier this season he even asked May to kill him so he cant hurt anyone with the alien blood in him. Luckily now thats fixed

    Interesting... I do wonder how this plays out... And I'm super curious to see what this Real!SHIELD's about. Though so far? Not crazy about their politics or how they're handling stuff. It reminds me too much of the part of Old!SHIELD I wasn't particularly fond of.

    And that cutway of Ward during the "Real SHIELD" voiceover? I'd betcha anything that a misleading edit.
