“When I Grow Up” – A school field trip to the hospital takes a dramatic turn when the kids witness two injured cops enter the emergency room. Ugh, still not here for Owen/Amelia. She deserves way better.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought is: what principal in their right mind would send a group of kids on a trip to Grey Sloan Memorial, formerly "Seattle Grace Mercy Death", the place where gunman run around, interns operate on themselves, bombs go off, staff get killed at alarming rates and most on-call rooms are filled with doctors banging?
ReplyDeleteAside from that.. I don't care about Stefanie, so I definitely don't want to see her trying to bone a chaperon (another reason kids should NEVER HAVE BEEN SENT HERE). I hate the Amelia / Owen story so far and find Amelia mostly insufferable so I'm not excited for more focus on her. Still no stories for Alex?

ReplyDeleteI was thinking I could in a way stomach it, since I stomached their first kiss...I even stomached this week's opening 'cause well, they were just getting it on like horny teenagers...But in the closing montage I had to look away, it was so cringeworthy...They aren't a good fit. Period. Glad the pagers keep interrupting them.

ReplyDelete(Before anyone jumps down my throat, I know this is all OPINION. My views are my own..) I've seen PP and never really liked the show, and Amelia was part of that. Caterina Scorsone just doesn't do it for me, I find her to be a totally unconvincing actress and downright annoying most of the time. I don't believe her for a second as a neurosurgeon which is an issue I almost never have with this show. Plus the character has been shoved down our throats and her story with Owen seems totally random and it's not exciting. Her dialogue has been cheesy, her acting overwrought and mechanical, and she's become the most annoying character on this show since Teddy left. I don't think she has any place on Grey's, and I know I'm not alone in that (the PreviouslyTV forums, formerly TelevisionWithoutPity, is full of users waiting for Amelia to get blown up, shot, drowned, or crushed by a plane.)
