    I like that the spinoff seems to be focusing on the beginning of the outbreak. That's a very interesting angle that The Walking Dead never really covered.

    I quit The Walking Dead during 4A but I think I'll be watching this because from the start I've been very curious with this storyline and I've always like virology themed things.

    I enjoy virology as well.

    I love movies like Contagion and I watched TNT's "the Last Ship" last summer because of the deadly global outbreak storyline.

    I would have preferred something simple like "The Walking Dead: LA", or maybe a title that more specifically references the fact that this series starts at the beginning of the outbreak unlike the original Walking Dead.

    I'm excited for this. The initial frantic panic of an impending zombie apocalypse seems more appealing than the slow burn of the mother show.
